Thank you Lyza, in all the years I’ve been crocheting, I never realized the importance of the crochet pins/ markers. I now know that they are used to keep the rows even. Now I know why my rows we’re getting smaller and smaller😂😂. I’m going to buy the crotchet pins tomorrow so I can make this hat properly. Thank you again Lyza.
You don't need the markers for hats. Not the ones simple as this! When you finish every row, make sure you chain 1, and then turn your work around. Start the next row working in the second stitch from the hook. I promise you, you will always have the same number of stitches when your done. I’ve made over 100 hats so far and my technique never got me wrong
Thanks for sharing, I had to go 56 rows just to fit my head hope it fits my son. It’s a present. Learned the zig zig stitch for the first time loved it to close out a project, again thanks for sharing, s super easy hat👍🏾🙂❤️
Thank you so much ❤️ I made a hat by watching your videos. I'm a beginner and I started my very first crochet with this. It's not like very beautiful 😬 but it went really well! Thank you so much! ❤️
Congrats, Lyza. I truly admire your creativity and find your patterns very unique and beautiful. Instructions are very clear. You may be a beginner but your work is on a par with those of the pro crocheters who create fantastic projects usng only the basic stitches. I will always look forward to your future projects.
Your video is great. I think I can do this hat and I’ve been searching for a long time to find somebody that’s easy for me to follow to come out with the right size for the man’s hat. The only problem I have is I cannot tell what size needle you’re using , is it possible for you to tell me thank you so much for your video when I discover what needle it is I am definitely gonna make it. Thank you.
I don't remember if I wrote to you before since i have been looking for easy crochet beanies for children and teens in a religious school for Native American children. I was trying to find easy patterns since previously i knitted caps but find it is faster to crochet than to knit.
Thank you for this video. I followed your instructions but my second row only has 48 single stitches. I undid the entire row 2 and did it all over again but still only 48 chains. What have I missed?
I used a bulky yarn and the 51 chains measured 18 inches and yours said should be 15 inches. So I dropped the 51 chains to 45 to stay within your 15 inch guide
When you’ve finished row 5 with the same rules of row 3, you’ve write to lead row 3 and 2 for the rest… but for the sixth row I have to do the same of row 2 not 3 right?
Am a beginner, but I want to ask a question to get it clear. I understood from row 1-5 but from row 6 up wards I don't really get it, is it that am going to continue using row 3 & 2 till I finish my work or am gonna stick to either row 3 or 2?
So I’m in the process of crotch sting my hat. I’m using safety pins as my markers until I can get the real crotchet markers but my rows are still getting smaller and smaller as I continue to build my hat. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I would suggest counting your stitches every row, you might be skipping one or two at the beginning of the row or in the middle. If you are using a dark color it may be harder to see every stitch. Your stitches will get easier to see as you figure out your tension 😁
I'm making some hats for the homeless and need the with and length. Thank you! Plus I'm making one for my partner so he stays warm.
That’s great! You would think after two months that they would reply!?
after one year.. no reply yet...
2 years!
😊😊😊😊😊
Do the 6 sc be done for each row. Pls advise. Thank you

Thank you again Lyza.
You can just use Bobby pins, works the same way and saves money if you already have laying around.
@@blkrose5175 that is a genius idea!!
You said correct dear I'm also thinking why my rows comes uneven

That's for a small adult head size if it's a larger head like mine you need about 59-62 rows. It also depends on the yarn you use.
Made this but modified the pattern to exclude the single crochets. Turned out great. Thank you.
Just finished making one for my boyfriend, thank you so much for the tutorial!
My pleasure.
I just finished made this one with the same colour, with one row in white and one row in green. It looks awesome! Thank you for the tutorial 💛

I love all your jobs. Congratulations. But in the granny heart I lack the way to join the grannys. You could do it? Thank you.
How much yarn is required to make the hat? Thank you! Very nicely done video!
Very nice
I wonder will this also work with the HDC stitch
Que Deus nos abençoe este ano. E obrigada pelo trabalho, gostei da maneira como você executou.
Es muy bonito
I did this.. turned out well🥺
I used a bulky yarn and the 51 chains measured 18 inches and yours said should be 15 inches. So I dropped the 51 chains to 45 to stay within your 15 inch guide
I have super bulky yarn. So 15 inches is the key? Thx. :-)
Good morning 🙏🏿 I have a question...well is it obligatory to start with 50 chains? Like will my cap be bigger if I chain more than 50?
It will be longer if you chain more.
This can be for women too ?
Nice ni nga pagka blue dai kay hayag .Ganahan sad kos technique nga naa kay ibutang cute ampiler pra hibaw ana asa ang end .
When you’ve finished row 5 with the same rules of row 3, you’ve write to lead row 3 and 2 for the rest… but for the sixth row I have to do the same of row 2 not 3 right?
Hallo ik ga de muts haken maar ik heb in de eerste toer 42 chains en 7 vaste kan dat ook.
I’ve only got 12 inches tall not 14 and I’m using the same size yarn and hook so what am I doing wrong I’m not crocheting tightly
How many chains and rows would you do for a child size?
Am a beginner, but I want to ask a question to get it clear. I understood from row 1-5 but from row 6 up wards I don't really get it, is it that am going to continue using row 3 & 2 till I finish my work or am gonna stick to either row 3 or 2?
can this be done with thicker wool
Can I use double knit yarn?
Wat if I need a circumference of like 24
What would be the length of the hat unfolded?
How many chains to make for 2 to 3 years
Did you use all of the 4 yarns?
🌷💝
I use to load the hat but it doesn't use to go 😢
Have you got this pattern child size?
Kolay gelsin Emeğinize sağlık çok güzel model çok güzel oldu Çok beğendim videolarıma beklerim arkadaşlar
Does the needle have to be 5mm?
How many meters is it
Pag 4mm hook po gamit, ilang count ang foundation chains?
Is this available with voice I find it difficult to follow with no voice
I request you crochet basket and same hat slip stitch make
❤
I can't even allign all the rows🥺
So I’m in the process of crotch sting my hat. I’m using safety pins as my markers until I can get the real crotchet markers but my rows are still getting smaller and smaller as I continue to build my hat. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.
You could be missing/skipping stitches which would cause your rows to get smaller/decrease
I would suggest counting your stitches every row, you might be skipping one or two at the beginning of the row or in the middle. If you are using a dark color it may be harder to see every stitch. Your stitches will get easier to see as you figure out your tension 😁
Make sure you are chaining one before you do another row!
Is beautiful stitch, thank you very much and very good. Please sharing at the chanel 🙏💚ART TV. 💚🙏👍💐🙋♀️🌹
Made me and my husband camuflage hats for hunting
Struggling to close the top 😩

What size hook is it pls
5mm
Thank you
😊
Please teach it step by step
I wish for a voice instead of music.

In my opinion way too much work and yarn for a hat it takes a very long time to make. It look nice but too much for me
Does it use more yarn than most crocheted hats?
it’s handmade... of course it is a lot of work. that is what crochet is
I hate when the person doesn’t even talk to you so I don’t even watch those.
