    Brother the woofers have no surface to load off of so if you really want that 40 just turn your box around lol but make damn sure your trunk is tight and has plenty of deadner and also there are a tone of little tricks we do in the SPL competitions like closing all your heat/AC vents and lowering the sun visors or tilt the other seat forward hell sometimes even just sliding your box back an inch can make a world of difference it is crazy but the biggest thing is testing testing testing and trying new things but you got this one 👌💪🔊🔊🔊

    I'm sure someone has mentioned turning them around. Bass waves are long....especially at 37hz.

      @RandoManFPV Год назад

      @@MrTD714 apparently yea. People say this in every video
      Tho personally I don't think it makes a difference unless you have a port or are changing the opening that goes from he vehicle cabin to the trunk.
      In my case I have a single 15 in a very big box, ported and facing forwards.
      I just shoved some blankets next to the box to seal of the trunk from the cabin kinda like a temporary trunk wall build (vide on my channel)
      Turning my box around would be really dumb as someone who wants loudness.

    • @Turdpuncher
      @Turdpuncher Год назад +1

      @@RandoManFPVit makes less of a difference if you have a port . Sealed boxes do much better loading off the trunk, but you can still gain db at certain frequencies with a ported box. His box is designed with the port facing backwards, so it dont help a whole lot. It still could gain a db or two by having the cones facing the trunk.

      @@BudgetBassHead I was thinking. If you doubled up your trunk rubber seals " that should make the back end of the trunk air tight". Put the 18's in sealed boxes. With the back seat down' used as a port" your trunk would be a 4th order technically. Right? Probably close to a 4-1 ratio also.

      Stopped production 4 years ago, which isn't a big deal. What's a bigger deal is fwd only. Always wondered why they made the old SS model and the most recent model making 300 horsepower.
      Anything fwd over 200-250 hp, in my experience, is a nightmare to drive. Differentials can help, but can only do so much, and Chevrolet probably isn't doing too much to get that power down.
      My step bro had a gti that had a ton of work into it, like high 3/low 400hp, and he just could not put the power down, and oversteer is NOT FUN in the corners.

I took my 12"'s out and am only running one 6 inch Skar in my Avalanche because my back deck leaks a little and I did not want the box and subs to get damaged over the winter. I have the one 6 inch Skar in a small box under the back driver side seat as there just is no room in that cab. I am amazed at the thump I get from that little Skar. I built the box to get 42 Hrt and it plays my Rock and country fantastic. It lacks a little when trying to go to low on the bass but I think I am sticking with it. At least for now.

    It looks like your polarity is like one of your boxes is reverse polarity from the other one, you might want to recheck your positive and negative connection inside your boxes again. All the subs should be moving in unison especially with both the boxes being ported. Other than that pretty sweet video. Does your box slide around at all? cuz that kind of worries me with how close those terminals are to the amp don't want to see anything get blown over something simple

    Question? Is there there a 3db gape between the tuning of the boxes?

    Not sure if it camera frame rate or if they're running out of phase with each other but looks sweet man

      Its the camera. Out of phase would produce little to no sound

    fun fact there's 5 kings of 8's and the meso is 6th place, so there'd be 5 others that get louder but 2 of the kings cost $350+

    This is nice but the top box is out of phase… swap leads and redo the test, I’m sure it’ll do better based on you port positioning!
