Hi Hiddo! Correct - the woodblock plays instead of the snare drum for as long as the key is activated, which is also the register cancel key, so saves space in the music too. But no, I've not changed anything on the organ since completing the restoration in 2003. All the very best, Nick.
So there is a key that activates the woodblock, as long as you take the note? Good invention! Saves a lot of work! Nice organ, Nick, did you change something on pipes? Sounds a bit more mellow compared to it's first cd.
