Well done, great progress!! Good to see the clip from the front of the train!! (No runaways this time Charlie!!😉😉). My mum will love this, it's her old town. Look forward to seeing the branch to the mill Good luck from Spain!!
Hi, Wonderful a train running lets have more please and the other thing that pleased me was that your tankers were rocking from side to side a bit so now when my rolling stock does it I will be happier but this is looking so good I bet you cannot wait to start operating it and well done to Charlie for his as usual super filming and editing well done to you all. Cheers Robert.
Finally a McKinley video with a train running! Great work from the team here, very excited to see more trains moving and more info on the testing about to start!
Great to see your handy work installed, love the easy route setting and RFID wagon triplets tracking systems; all that planning has really paid off and kept your controls and information displays simple and most importantly easy to use. A running train, well that’s just a bonus for me! It would be nice to know how many engines diesel and steam, wagons, brake vans and coaches you envisage being on the tracks at any one time (including Hades) when it it’s finished, ditto on installed track length. All the best and so well done. Stephen
Awesome layout ideas! I gasped when I saw the routing switch demo on the schema panel. Also love the drawer for the electrical components & wiring. I am planning automation for my layout and you've given me some nice ideas! 💡
Thank you for showing for showing some running. My grandparents lived in Halifax growing up, my grand father often took me to a steam railway near there that I cannot remember the name of (this would be in the 90s). The layout looks like it should be a joy to run when you have full crew
Wacthing the videoo about the Halifax yard I wondered if teh team are aware of the situation in the neighbouring town of Huddersfield where the local mills were in some cases supplied with coke from the jocal railway yard by Council Electric Bulk Carrier Tram using the passenger track network.with mill delivery sidings, This could be a novel feature for a Boutnmouth based railway layout. A MbKinley "FiRST" I feel, a short run of tramway track with coke sidings into Tibbles Mill and some different rolling stock for David to worry about.
Wow, what processes and measures y'all take continues to impress me. And the "auto-mute" of sound in non-scenic areas... What was/is the purpose of muted sounds? John Kamloops, BC Canada Hi, Charlie!
Your layout is very impressive. Do you have a layout plan for reference. I am glad the Charlie is doing work for you, I do follow his work. Of course, for me from the US, it is a bit difficult to follow your operation as you have brake cars (sorry wagons). How do you work those, and what time period? Good work on the computer system, what software are you using?
Hi, the camera man for McKinley, Charlie Bishop, has his own model railway "Chadwick Model Railway" And recently made a video about the makeup of freight trains and the different types of guard vans and how they are used, here’s the link; ruclips.net/video/5JlkYFX3ovc/видео.html
Yes. except the storage yards... Its the last thing that will get done once we know that the track, uncouplers, RFID, pointwork etc etc are all in the right places..
If they built the scenery first it might be hard to view it as a railway! If you look back at other videos you can see "London" and get an idea of what to expect in the future
A layout that most can only dream about ,superb
Love a McKinley Railway update. Can’t believe the track work is almost finished. Great to see a train running.

Loved the update and more importantly it was lovely to see a train run on it. 👍
Brilliant layout.
I lived in Boarshaw and train spotted Middleton junction frequently, I never saw any of those magnetic uncouplers.

The Mother of all layouts ! Extraordinary !
Wow this is unbelievable so much time and effort 👌

Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. My grandparents also lived in Halifax
It was fantastic to see that train run. Thank you for an excellent video update.
This is looking fantastic, can't wait to see it develop more!
It looks really great, and like a lot of fun. It will be fantastic to see it all running with the scenery too.
fantastic Layout.. Very inspiring for anyone wanting to build their own layout...
Thanks special for sharing your details video great watching all times
As someone from Halifax i am really looking forward to this
What a fantastic layout, I would love the opportunity to see it and possibly even help out. I think I live near you. Would it be possible.? Paul

Goodness me, so much stuff! I shall be quite intrigued to see this in normal operation.
"Filmef and edited by Charlie Bishop" of Chadwick parkway fame 👍❤️
It just gets better! Are you at GETS again this year Dave? Be nice to say hello (we were on the AGR stand behind you last year)
Finally a small running session

Love the vids
Do you intend ballasting all your layouts
Yes. except the storage yards... Its the last thing that will get done once we know that the track, uncouplers, RFID, pointwork etc etc are all in the right places..
I would expect more computer displays for layout so complex and needing of remote control and monitoring.
Is it me or does this look like a layout built by computer enthusiasts rather than railway modellers.
Some of us are both things (disclaimer: I am not affiliated in any way with Mckinley), is that not allowed?
very good but it be nice too see the layout running instead of the technical all the time.
The Tanks Wood Have Boxvan between the Tanks
The engineering is amazing, but the whole thing looks boring without any scenery etc.
UNREALISTIC/ Would be the better description
If they built the scenery first it might be hard to view it as a railway! If you look back at other videos you can see "London" and get an idea of what to expect in the future
@@NOELTM I get that you need to built infrastructure first , but the layout looks boring.
This a amazing place 0f work for a Model Railway 🛤 thanks for the video 📹
You need to be 8ft tall to use this railway 🚃🚃 🚃
Only Halifax is that high and they said, in some video before, that it gona get a higher floor there 🚂
@@lassunsschaun6859 I am 9ft 2 and I had to have a step to reach the operating screen.
