The eye contact between Josh and Travis at 1:27 is priceless... It's like they rehearsed that stop 7 times before hand and were really worried about nailing it... Awesome.
Still so awesome to see Josh back in the mix, sometimes you don't appreciate what you have till it's gone and just happy for him to have this chance again, he really brings a lot to coheed.. and super duper Cooper is a great addition lol he looks so lonely in the corner by himself tho, poor guy
+Zac Miller i was literally just thinking that. Josh is like that little kid that meets his idols and then gets to play a game with them. He couldn't stop smiling if he wanted.
I kinda feel him. Sometimes I just break out in a huge grin when I'm playing music with other people. especially if it sounds good. You just can't help but smile and think "wow this is fucking awesome and I'm part of it!". We all have a bit of Josh in us :)
@@milkmeapollo9048 Wow that is not awfully rude but wrong. Travis in many interviews shows how much he adores playing with coheed, just because his playing face isnt as hype as josh doesnt mean he isnt jamming
@@ereynolds72 Nah man I've seen so many videos, been to several concerts and Travis always has this bored look on his face, Zach too but not so much. Also Claudio in an interview only about 4 or 5 years ago he LITERALLY said that "Some people are obviously only here for the money"

It's wonderful to see that Josh is doing so well now. He's lost so much weight and he looks so happy in everything I've seen him do since he's been back.
Ghost.Flowers But it's like being in the venue playing he just looks lost. He could've been having an off day on the day of my show and it's not that his playing was bad at all but he just did not look happy at all through the whole event like this video. I could be wrong but I'd think that if he truly just wanted to play he would be able to concentrate on that but he just looked drained.
I remember when I got into Coheed. I listened to a lot of their music and fell in love with them. I read a lot of comics too, and knowing that they write comics that somewhat goes along with the music is even more epic. But, start on which ever album you want to. Personally I like listening to them from the beginning of their musical career and seeing how their music has evolved. But in their case, their isn't a huge difference, still awesome Coheed. But enjoy which ever path you choose.
not gonna lie the buzz sessions and the nervous energy sessions might be my favorite of all time acoustic songs. Josh is as happy as hell he's back with claudio and stever ive saw him before and he didnt have the vibe he does now. keep up the good work guys. hoping to see another novel sometime soon im not a reader but i read yotbr 4 times catching parts that i missed the first time.
I remember hearing Blood Red Summer on the music disc that came with the Psp, and that's how I heard them growing up. It wasn't until No World for Tomorrow that I truly got into them. Been there ever since too.
I'm so glad you asked.... Second Stage Turbine Blade, No World For Tommorrow, Afterman Ascension and Dissension, Anything by their old name (Shabutie), and go on from there. My favorites are anything from mothers of men, afterman, number city, K.E.E. Sentry the Defiant, and Time Consumer! Have fun!
anywhere my friend. I personally think all their albums are great. I was introduced to Coheed when Good Apollo 4 came out. A lot of great songs on that album as well.
Start at the very beginning; the intro to Second Stage is hauntingly beautiful. My most favorite is Good Apollo I (the third one) but do whatever you choose, sir. Thanks for choosing Coheed :)
To everyone saying "Listen to them from the beginning" remember.. John has never heard Coheed before. The "beginning" to us means Second Stage, but to him the beginning could mean The Afterman. John, the story starts with (in STORY order): The Afterman Ascension and Descension, Year of the Black Rainbow, Second Stage Turbine Blade, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Volume 1: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness, GAIBSIV: No World for Tomorrow
Any album. Understand they do progress and changes between albums. What you should really do is find the video on here that has their whole discography and listen to it from start to finish.
Josh: Not a giver of fucks. But no, seriously, this is why I dig Coheed so much. Just look at them, they're all in love with what they do. Even Travis, Mr. Super Duper Seriousness over there.

Claudio is amazing at everything. I think he's keeping a secret...like he burns the toast all the time.
GHOSTMUSICTV lol
I think you're onto something

I fucking love Josh
While this is one of my favorite Afterman songs, it also has to be one of my absolute favorites to hear acoustically. Just beautiful.
I love the difference between Travis and Josh. Travis is trying so hard to be stoic and hard and Josh is just having literally the time of his life.

Josh always looks so stoked when they are doing acoustic sets.

If Coheed did an acoustic album I'd buy the shit out of that
I love the fact that Josh brings 100% every time he plays! What a guy!
No one puts so much emotion into songs like Claudio. This is one of the reasons Coheed is on another level.
I'll love that man forever. There is no better performer in existence.
I love this band so much.
I'm 29 and been listening for literally 16 years. This is an important band that should be remembered. HOF!
Chicka chick gah. I love this... but let us not forget Michael robert todd. I love this Band ..and Wes styles.
It's wonderful to see that Josh is doing so well now. He's lost so much weight and he looks so happy in everything I've seen him do since he's been back.
0:59 "Also, Zach is here."
He looks so sad... :( I mean, like..
BATmAnsGURL0112 Every fucking time, oh well *jams out*
BATmAnsGURL0112 Yeah when I saw them back in September he literally looked like someone told his dog died.
kirkhammet511 Maybe he doesn't want all the attention and just wants to play

I'm glad to see josh back. He brings a lot of energy and character back to the band.
:) I'm glad I'm not the only one who recognized that.
Who here is just discovering this band and finding all the gold they come out with
Best band there is!!! Cannot believe how well this works acoustically. Saw them a week ago and not one dodgy note.
Listen to everything, Simply
Josh always looks like he's having such a great time! Definitely the life of the party. Such a delight! :)
Travis is like me i make serious faces while i play no matter what lol.. Josh is Loving that tambourine
the audio for this was done very well, and played awesome as always
Love this song
and it is AWESOME!!! So glad he's back
Love it guys!!!! Love talent n ' passion! the moment!!!!
this song is awesome! everyone's so enthusiastic in it, i love it
The intro gives off a Thin Lizzy type chorus lol, but nevertheless, a great CC track. These guys are my high school heroes ❤️❤️
I think parts of it are a tribute to the Cowboy song.
@@tinogarcia7129The chorus gives off a Thin Liszt type chorus
Amazing how into it Josh can be with just a shaker and a tambourine. Such a great musician on and off the kit.
Wow they look like they are having so much damn fun....i love to see that!
chickachikaa lol...love it!!!
oh goodnight, oh goodnight, fair lady oooh
Great tune!!
josh is right on the cusp of full out jam mode
Claudio is rockin some freakin CHOPS, man.
This is so good.
So good! Can't wait to see you guys Feb. 8th!
Thank GOD for this band.
That look that Travis and Josh share @1:28 is so awesome lol

Still waiting on that full acoustic Coheed album
One of their best songs.
In 2016 Josh doesnt look like an old dad ... good on him
I remember hearing Blood Red Summer on the music disc that came with the Psp, and that's how I heard them growing up. It wasn't until No World for Tomorrow that I truly got into them. Been there ever since too.
omg this is freaking amazing.
As a drummer i can tell you this is just how acoustic sets are. We get DOWN with the egg and tambos. People dont think it be like that but it do.
Just whatever I do in life, I hope I'm as half as excited by it as what Josh does.
God it's so good to see Josh back
Awesome! Really cool to see Josh and Zach playing,
i love coheed and cambria
I'm so glad you asked....

I love Claudio's beanies. Looks comfy :)
que energía tan increible!
On the second chorus, I like the way he kinda goes into a soul kind of vocal style.
Josh is always rocking out on his egg. He fucking loves that thing.
awesome
the fact this only has 249k hits boggles my mind.

All the comments are about josh haha gotta love him he got a second chance at life basically and he is living it up
Travis is perma-2005 and I love it.

The glass smashed.. then the hair flip lol

Welcome Home.
The riff and vocal style remind of Thin Lizzy so much. Not a bad thing.
josh is fucking killing it. doesnt even need sticks.
Haha look at Josh go! He's so into it.
Love the "chic a chica" at the end haha
Thin Lizzy-vibe + Coheed = 210%
listen to cowboy song. goodnight fair lady is a tip of the hat
He always jams out...
Josh Eppard's constant smiling throughout is quite funny in comparison to Travis :P Loved the acoustic version of this song!
thats how you should listen to coheed and cambria
Start from the first album and listen to every one after that.
You dudes are the fuckin’ Beatles of today
Fucking excellent.
Their first album Second stage all of their albums tell a story together so that is the only place to start.
I'm pretty sure he himself is Coheed's biggest fan, which is absolutely fine :)

Now the unheavenly creatures lmao
Dude I own the same beany as Travis. SICK!
it takes a surprising amount of concentration to stay in groove
This song is Thin Lizzy as fuuuuuuck.
+ForeverMasterless omg. yes.
Everywhere.....
Every song this band has is about the story that the main singer Claudio Sanchez created in his graphic novel. Listen to their albums in order.
Josh is awesome ^_^
I like how they don't even show Zach until a minute into the video. Way to reinforce the stereotype that bassists aren't important.
That's pretty crazy they got Matthew Perry to play percussion 👏👏
Could you be any more wrong?
Everything.
It looks like the bass player is a child being punished in timeout in the corner of the room.
he looks like a challenged kid
Any album. Understand they do progress and changes between albums. What you should really do is find the video on here that has their whole discography and listen to it from start to finish.
Burning Star !! Has a good mix of their overall styles.
his live voice has improved so much since second stage
fucking fabulous!
