Actually(Nerdy snort) Tony’s armor was the kind that healed him(when Spider-Man got dusted you could see the armor trying to heal him as well. Fighting against the dusting). So the ants were trying to eat through the suit but the nanites were healing Zombie Tony, which means Wasp had to decapitate him to actually kill him. Otherwise he’d just heal and go after them.

Couple of nitpicks.
Zombie Falcon isn't killed by the Surfer in the original series, in MZ 3 we see that Jocasta is the one who kills him via laser eyes to the face, when he and other zombies try to ambush her and Machine Man.
Zombie Colonel America is brought back in MZ 2 by Reynolds (one of the acolytes) using the corpse of T'Challa's son, however Cortez (another acolyte) sends him to another dimension, but unlike the other zombies that are transported we don't really see what happened to him in MZ Returns.
Black Panther is infected by Wasp in MZ 2 after someone tries to assasinate him, he is also transported by Cortez, but we see that he was killed fighting the zombie Avengers when they invaded the Skrull empire (they keep his hand as a trophy)
Are we counting deaths in marvel zombies returns because hulk and iron man each have another death.
Actually Zombie Dr. Strange survived the attack and was so brain damaged he could only use two spells, thanks Magento(No seriously).
I'm so curious how doctor strange, the sorcerer's supreme got infected in the first place. But even then with the full roster of marvel heroes within the comic universe being in that zombies universe, I guess it isn't completely crazy to think he did get overpowered by somebody. Just, whom I wonder.
Ask where the doctor strange in the marvel what if universe. You seriously telling me he went out like a b****? Cuz this one doesn't even have the full roster of superheroes like they do in the comics. Who took him out? Was it iron man? Was it another zombie sorcerer? It sure wasn't all cuz he just came in and wasn't even a zombie.

@@HK47_115 the avengers getting infected was just stupid too, why did they land in the middle of a bridge full of zombies? there was clearly no one to save there. No point in doing that. How did iron man get infected? his nano armor took the blast of an infinity stone and only broke under the busted power of thanos. No sense.

A whole fight where the avengers did a great job taking down the hordes eventually succumbing to the infected when they aren't even the main characters

Ngl, I felt more emotionally invested into the Comics but this show and how they portray each of the MCU characters in a similar storyline does hit hard in some places. Especially when they make movie callbacks, like Bucky's "end of the line" moment.
Yeah that was pretty brutal man. I loved this episode so much. Hope they make a figure of Bucky with the shield. He looked awesome with it

Yet they show decapitation and disembowelment on a kids’ tv show. In a few years, Disney would probably allow R-Rated movies and tv shows since they’re “experimenting”. Deadpool 3 is going to be R-Rated, so if the movie is successful, Disney could potentially allow Marvel Studios to make other movies R-Rated like Blade (I hope).

I personally love the comics, the infection there is like an addiction to the heroes who have turned. What truly helped it was the fact that they could still talk even though they were technically dead
Indeed. What's more terrifying than a zombie? A zombie with the intelligence of a human. Still use tactics and can use words along with their appearance to strike fear. A damn shame the MCU's zombies were nowhere as intelligent as their comic counterparts. Especially since Zombie Spider-Man helped other zombies go through their flesh addiction withdrawal and cause a zombie civil war. Zombie Spider-Man is a true hero.

@@Mc80sEntertainment the virus clearly got to space since we see zombie aliens at the end of the episode. The question is really if the guardians got infected, because if they get infected then Thor would still be floating in a near-death state in space.
@@BlueSoulGamer Also we see that Thanos has all of the stones except for the mind stone, so we know that the guardians meet him on knowhere AND that gamora is dead. So that would mean that Thor, Rocket, and Groot are forging Stormbreaker if not already finished

Fun fact: it was confirmed that if Ant-Man were to expand inside Thanos he would most likely die because of how thick Thanos skin is.
But surely he would take thanos down with him, ant man wouldnt burst out of the skin but having organs displaced by someone expanding like that would probably be deadly to both of them

I was actually really surprise Scott didn't feel worried or concerned for Cassie considering that this is literally the end of the world for this timeline. I really wished they made the characters more scared or had more feeling to one another after their someone's death such as bucky killing Cap. Other than that I really like this episode, Its my favorite one so far. It definitely needs part 2 for that cliff hanger 😁
Maybe cassie didn't exist at all its a different universe after all but if she did exist that is kinda sad.
Yeah I agree, it seemed nobody was bothered at all by the death of a character except for happy and hope. Bucky didn't at all care Shannon was dead, Bruce had no problem with Tony dying and was only disgusted by the ant, and nobody gave a single damn when Vision killed himself, bucky and bruce stayed behind, or even worried about where other Avengers were who we didn't see.
In conclusion: having a name that begins with H is the only way to be cared abt in this universe

This episode was almost perfect. Just wish they took it more seriously and cooled it down on the comedy for some of the characters
Agreed. The part where Bruce could have potentially been eaten by a former friend just for him to just say “please don’t eat me” instead of actually fearing for his life

I never did understand how Tony got bit. The only possibility I can think of is maybe Janet being the one to bite him. Also, how did the guy who can escape to different dimensions get bitten?
Yeah I actually don't understand this either. I don't think Janet did it though, because of Ant-Man going into a hole in his armor in civil war Tony made nano tech have 0 holes (almost skin tight if I remember correctly). If she went quantum and bit like his atoms it would take an INSANELY long time for him to be infected (if possible at all) because Janet got a small cut and it took a long time for her to infecteted.

I think i saw an explanation somewhere on the internet. He was bitten with his armor off or partially off, caught off-guard while he was working on something at his tower. I can't remember who bit him though.
@@artemis1993 in the comics, he was bitten out of his armor by the fantastic four. In the show, it's called plot. Because there is no way Iron Man or the Sorcerer with the fucking time stone gets turned in this universe, it's a bit stupid-
Its kinda obvious how he got infected,since he has mk 50 they zombies could've just aimed for his head until he ran out of nano tech parts.thats the reason why he doesn't have a helmet.
The three things that were weird about the episode were that:
1. No one really seemed all that bothered by the deaths
2. The episode tried to be incredibly comedic despite its dark tone
3. The characters were trying to find a cure, but they have no problem killing as many zombified people as possible along the way, including their friends.

The third one makes sense, sacrifices have to be made for the better of the future
Happy was in the Zombies comics, he was killed my zombified Giant Man in an alternate universe when he went down to the basement when a noise was heard down there, he then started leading Giant Man to Tony while he also infected other people

At the end of Falcon show, it is revealed that Sharon is the Power Broker, someone who controls the criminals city of Madripoor, and sells powers, as well as the kind of person who would use her previous friends for her own ends while killing anyone who gets in her way, during the final episode of the show she gets back her old job as a US secret agent and calls someone to tell them that "the power broker now has access to secret US/SHIELD tech" so she intends to sell it to anyone, she also is responsible for the main antagonist getting super soldier serum that she was going to sell

I'm torn on this episode, because for one, the zombies look fantastic, but I feel like the Disney-fication holds back this version of Marvel zombies and it shows during the jokes.
The original comic WAS hugely comedic, but it fit much more because of the dark humor in contrast with the more gruesome moments. In here, it's downright goofy.
I mean, these characters literally see their closest friends either torn apart or zombie-fied and they treat it as if it was just another Tuesday, which is glaring considering how much the episode emphasizes Spider-Man's upbeat attitude, but EVERY character in the episode has an upbeat attitude, especially when they go "bang bang" as they're about to get eaten.
I honestly hope they course correct and make just one exception to make something truly horrifying and gruesome that isn't held back by the mouse.

Dude, the healing abilities for hulk both in comics and in what if are always inconsistent, but I hope he survived this time
The way they handled the origin of the virus was great and far better than the comics. My only problem was that this was nowhere nearly as dark in the comics. I mean zombie spider man swings with his own veins

Happy was actually in a Marvel Zombies comic, albeit, set in an alternate universe, more specifically in Marvel Zombies Returns.
I can't remember the details but I think he was sent to investigate in some underground but died and got zombified by getting a chunk of his chest eaten by Giant Man.

I just wish there was a rated R version of this scenario, the zombie episode was honestly sort of mid to me cause of the comics, which I really enjoyed.
A big difference between the animation and the comic book is the fact that, in the comic, only super heroes (or villains) could become zombies while regular humans would just die. So, in the comic, there were no massive waves of zombified civilians as only super humans were becoming zombies. On top of that, in the comic, the zombies sups kept their normal "mind" intact and, as such, except for their decaying body state they weren't really acting or moving like zombies, unless they were feeding.
A slight oversight of the part where Black Panter was "chopped" up in this video would be to explain that the reason why he getting "sliced" bit by bit is so that he doesn't turn into a zombie and can be fully eaten since, as explained in the comic, zombies taste like sh!t for other zombies.
Actually regular people could become zombies they they did on rare occasions, but usually the heroes and villains would eat every last bit of their victims. So basically there was nothing left to be zombified
Comics. It felt like more of a threat when no one was cracking wise aside from the zombies. Honestly I think the way they treated a lot of characters and basic info on the zombies was a little...lazy. They could think and act in ways that allowed them to use their powers but not outright speak, unlike the comics where they would be talking normally. Its wierd when you get down to how they were turned. Like...Zombie teeth penetrate metal/nanomesh armor but can't bypass hulk skin? Then theres Wanda who is exclusively with Vision most times so how was she bitten?? Actually why was she even at an American military base? She was in Europe! I digress. It was just kinda inconsistent. Least in the alt universe Tony just started drinking and didn't care about anything enough to fight back. That death made sense. They just killed Tony cause didney have no Robert Downey Jr.
I honestly think the Hulk might be immune to this variant of the virus, considering how Hulk saved Banner from Wanda. Also, Spidey was done very dirty in the comics, not surviving as long as I felt he should’ve. I’m glad animated Spidey lived through the episode. Also, considering Zombie Spider-Man, Peter really needed a break this episode.
only problem with hulk being immune is that it isn't caused by radiation and he's clearly bitten as bruce before turning into hulk
happy was in marvel zombies 2 where a drunk tony tells him to go check a proximity alert only for happy to be eaten off panel by Hank Pym
I’m pretty sure the Winter Solider DID die, but it would’ve been a lot more painful than being shot and dying on fall impact combined. Wanda probably threw him either near or INTO the zombie horde. Where he would’ve been torn to shreds and turned :(

Comics def better, don’t get me wrong, I love the episode, but it felt a little rushed, and the other zombies besides Wanda didn’t really get any cool screen time

I agree, did feel a little rush. I feel like some parts they didn't think through too much. Like of course Scott not being concerned about his daughter at all. Unless maybe his daughter doesn't exist in this universe but of course this version of The cinematic universe wasn't well explained.
In iron Man's death just felt so cheap. And how the hell did the sorcerer's supreme in this universe could take it out? In the comics universe I could understand because they have the whole roster of superheroes in that universe. But in the cinematic universe? How?
But then again I guess we are basically being told from the eyes of the watcher, so. But that just feels like such a s***** excuse

I haven’t even read them, just watched videos, but I don’t know about Kurt’s death, he was grabbed, pulled, and then Wanda immediately flys out, keep in mind the size of the hall, and how fast/slow he flew to Wanda, and if he was bit, why would scarlet witch waste a full dead body/good meal?

Although I did like the what if episode, I still love the the comic so much more tbh, but I do agree that some of the deaths in the episode were better.

That's actually a great question. Hope they continue this story and answer stuff like that in a potential What If season 2
Happy was in the comics when the Zombies got teleported to different realities in different points in time. He was killed by zombie giant-man after he was the teleported to the Demon in a bottle comic timeline.

Out of curiosity do you think they did a great job with this episode or do you think they should’ve done more of a dead days adaptation just showing the heroes going through the zombie apocalypse and failing? PS my crazy fan theory was that Wanda was going to try to bring back quicksilver but he comes back undead and he is patient zero going around the world eating or infecting people with superspeed. But it’s probably best that didn’t happen since the last episode was magic character trying to bring back their beloved dead

both Tony and Strange technically have become a Zombified in The MCU as well (in Spider-Man: Far From Home Mysterio use his Illusions to make The Wall-Crawler see a Zombie version of his Mentor Ironman and in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, our Strange use his Magic on a Dead Doctor Strange Corpse to take down a Psychopathic Scarlet Witch, which I think it’s awesome when he have these Black Demonic Beings as his creepy Cape and also make into like a Twisted version of Doctor Strange’s Multiple Arms Magic Trick)

Yeah how did he got infected in the MCU version? I know in the Comics he got infected because in Marvel Zombies, Dead Days, Iron Man lived with a small group of heros building a multiverse time machine until Mr.Fantastic (Who was going crazy and becoming evil saying zombies are evolved humans) made the virus airborne instead of a bite to anyone in the ship (Explains why people like Coloses and Hulk got infected in the first place) and Mr.Fantastic wraps himself up on Tony Stark before he could wear his suit fully

Remember when we see Hawkeye, Widow, Cap, Iron Man, and Black Panther coming off of the ship? Hank Pym is there and he is shrunken and chomping on Cap's neck. I think that, after Vision came and took T'Challa, and after the other 3 got infected, Tony probab tried to escape, but Hank shrunk and crawled through his suit to infect him.

All it's safe to say I'm putting my money on comics anyone who's willing to introduce somebody like Ashley Williams and the necronomicon and his powerful chainsaw arm and boomstick into your franchise your good by me and that's exactly what the comics did

Some of the zombies dont seem like they have become zombies, like Thanos and Wanda. They both have incredible power that could hold off the living, so why shouldnt they be able to hold off the dead?
In the comics the zombies aren't actually any less intelligent, there just so overwhelmed by there hunger for human flesh, that all there morals check out

For wanda.. it's unclear, possibly she was infected early on? Like the avengers were? It's said black Panthers went missing with the avengers intionally, and that's when vision graved him, and he graved him as wanda food, so... it seems likely she was infected then?
Happy was in Marvel zombies return #2. But it was still a different universe to 2149

while it is different kind of zombie infection but the movie's zombie just not as hungry as the comic counterpart but seem to want to beat them up first then start eating.
Like when Hawkeye after nailed Sharon to the wall, he just standing there watching her while zombie Happy keep trying to bam! her and missed every single shot.
I feel kind of bad telling you this since I’m pretty sure you probably got like 20 people already saying the same thing but I thought Doctor Strange died in marvel zombies 3 because kingpin used him to see another dimensions or at least that’s what I remember but I could be wrong but yeah either way strange gets screwed over pretty easily in both dimensions.
