Hulk has been nerfed in the MCU because Universal Pictures owns The Hulk, similar to how Sony owns spiderman. So they don’t want to make the Hulk essential to the MCU…and then lose the rights to use the character, so for THIS reason, they keep him “nerfed” because making him important is too risky.

The agreement they came to is that Marvel/Disney can do whatever they want with the character BUT Universal would have final say over solo movies. So what Marvel decided to do to circumvent this is to no longer do any solo Hulk movies. Which is why Hulk co-starred in Thor 3, and will co-star again in She-Hulk, but not his own movie.
So since Marvel is being “cute” Universal gave the streaming rights for the “incredible hulk” movie to HBO MAX instead of Disney.

Just like two corrections I have:
1.) Mr Fantastic using "I" statements isn't cause of individuality it's because of the Gems power over someone and the fact they make you omnipotent that's causing him to be like that. It's even proven later when he almost refuses to give up the gauntlet
2.) They didn't just send Hulk into space their plan was to send him to a peaceful lush uninhabited world but a wormhole opened up and shat him out on Sakaar
Also not really a correction but just to add that people seem to think it's just hulk being mad during WWH but it's both Banner and Hulk that are pissed
On another note, a wormhole opened up outta nowhere on the Watchers watch that sent hulk to sakaar...idk bout what you think but I sense sus written all over that

Interestingly, in an alternate universe (Earth-976) there exists a successful version of The Illuminati. In "Dark Reign: Fantastic Four" issue 3, the group members are Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Black Bolt, and Namor. They successfully managed to pass and implement both the Superhuman Registration Act and the Initiative program peacefully. The successful and peaceful passage and implementation of these measures brings about world peace. It seems like having Dr. Doom and Magneto in the group (instead of Dr. Strange and Professor X) made the difference. I wish they'd make a whole comic about this version of The Illuminati. I'd like to see how they managed to succeed, where the Illuminati of this universe (Earth-616) failed.
Magneto probably modified the registration act or just made them liable if the info got leaked. It's not ideal but a large problem with the registration act was the fact that the mutant info list was being given to genocidal idiots.

It's right after Scarlet Witch murderized all of the Illuminati. Remember? Wanda magicked away Blackbolts mouth and turned Mister Fantastic into spaghetti. After that she had a trailer park cat fight with Peggy and tried to call the authorities for Captain Marvel over her crime of illuminating while black. Right about then Morbius showed up out of nowhere and said "Wanda, I will not tolerate your abuse of the authorities' prejudice against the African Americans and other minorities". I don't know how you missed it. Maybe you left for a bathroom break.

IIRC, Cap, a better example of the common man, was at there at the first, but objected to the overreach, before Prof X wiped his memory of that meeting. Iron Man probably represents the power weilded by the USA's military industrial complex. Cap was empwered by the MICi, but he was the power of a free man at the height of human perfection. Ironically, he becomes what Hitler dreamed the Aryans could become: Nietzsche's Ubermench.

If sentry has the power of a million exploding suns, him almost destroying Manhattan was nothing compared to his full potential. If our sun were to go supernova it would decimate everything in the solar system and even affect planets on other stars 100 light years away. Sentry could do that with a millionth of his power.

After the MCU introduces the fantastic 4, x men, Atlantans and inhumans this can be a great storyline to explore and the Kree and Skrulls have already been introduced in Captain Marvel. They make for prime intergalactic threat that can span multiple heroes and groups

Stark super genius analysis mansplaing how it’s all gonna go down is just brilliant writing. And that bit about Spider-Man being the one the government makes an example of is so spot on it hurts. That is definitely how it would play out because even within the Marvel universe, Spider-Man is the most recognizable hero. People actually see him more because he’s a street level hero. They’d see him every day. He’d be the *PERFECT* sacrificial lamb to slaughter in front of the masses to prove yourself and political point.

I enjoy BMB's stories, but I always forget how much he ignores established Marvel history to do what he wants. The Infinity Gems don't call out to each other. A bunch of Elders held meetings together, several of them with gems, and none of them noticed it. Thanos had to contemplate in the Well of Reality to find them all. Not only that, but Thanos, AFTER wielding the Gauntlet, wasn't able to use the Reality Gem without the others to control it. Finally, the 'Infinity Gauntlet' doesn't do a darned thing, except make a convenient way to hold the gems.
I always wonder why Stark isn't spending life in prison about now. While you can't hold him legally responsible for things like invading the Skrull Empire and helping them determine how to pull off the Secret invasion, but he's committed crimes from Perjury to Congress to Espionage, Treason, acts of war, and Capitol Murder (multiple counts).

I can't believe the people who wrote that comic basically had Tony outline the worse case event that could happen if they DIDN'T do his plan, even specifically mentioning Spider-man in it getting unmasked, only for him to later be the person enacting that worse case event himself for the exact same reasons he said were bad.
The illuminate has been and always will be the shittiest super hero group ever, of all time.
