Probably you right, I mean every old call of duty with cross platform only between xbox and play and an anticheat would be amazing. My fav multiplayer was ghost but I sped way more time playing bo1, I love bo1 zombies and multiplayer was almost perfect
Oh man, the memories.. Back when there was no meta loudouts wich change everyday, no skill based matchmaking, no pay to win bundles, no extra bullshit. And the custom emblems, miss that too.

Straight up jumped ship from my 5+ Xbox 360s that red ringed on me. Free multi-player was absolutely worth it.
If you play on xbox 360 you will still find games on most call of dutys. They will close servers but till the last time I played it was still easy to find a match, but there will be only 2 lobby's if you have all dlcs. Also if you have only one dlc it won't find any game. So deactivate them watching the movie in the cinema. Or simply put them in a usb and then unplug it to play multiplayer. I do have ps3 and the free online is good but the xbox feels way better for cod. The Xbox 360 controller is fantastic compared to the ps3 which is almost trash
Man I miss my PS3😢 MW3 and Black ops are my favorite cods. MW3 mulitiplayer always hads those wild people talking shit and Black ops still has the best zombie maps to this day.
U can still play on new consoles though. I’m still playing mw2

Dedicated servers is the reason we can’t have normal matchmaking and have to deal with sbmm now. We need to go back to player hosted lobbies so they won’t disband
Dedicated servers are not the reason we have SBMM. They implemented SBMM and disbanded lobbies regardless. Apparently SBMM was even in Black ops 2 according to Activision and that was Peer to peer connection.
XDefiant has dedicated servers and they do not have SBMM or disbanding lobbies. Other games too. It's just Activision forcing this on us.

If it wasn't for cod developers, this game could be alive forever. They purposely put free mods and things like that directly in the game. With BO2 they literally gave everyone a mod menu to kill it. Bo3? They closed the multiplayer because another multiplayer dead because of a free mod menu in the game available from console was probably too dangerous for them, people could may use their brain and realize what kind of company they were. Nowadays with warzone and warzone mobile they really reach the worst they could.
They need to fix the derank issue on ps3 im tired of going back to lvl one.

I remember seeing my older bro and his mate playing this game one day in our room (we shared a room) I was 10 maybe 11. And I started to mock them saying this game sucked and they’re idiots for playing it, granted I was just a stupid kid. But oh how wrong I was. I’m 23 now. I’m an old head, and I still, to this day, play this game on a regular basis. 🤣☠️

Hey mate. I have played this video, 2 hour live stream and another video that is coming out in the next 30 minutes. I have only encountered 1 cheater. They are definitely still there but I personally haven't experienced any cheating except for 1 so far
Bo1 on ps3 is among the least hacked of the cods of that generation. If you want to see the worst of it, go to bo2 or mw2
Do you recommend buying the standart edition physically or gold edition digitally?
Why asking this because there is a myth about having DLC’s on older Call of Duty games lower your chance of getting into the lobbies.
As shown at the start of the video having dlcs installed makes it impossible to find a game. as soon as i disabled my DLC i found a match instantly. So its up to you. I like keeping them installed and just enabling them when i want to use them (mostly for zombies)
@@JOFFY53R Sorry for asking a question already explained in the video but asked it before watching but yeah, the question is can i disable my DLC if I buy the Gold Edition like you? I believe it only includes the first DLC, nothing more.
If that's not the case, I'll go for a physical standart edition instead of the gold edition because there is no standart edition on the digital store.
@@Carneillon I would think you would be able to disable it but honestly am not sure. These are very old games so they may act differently to how I expect, but I would think if you got gold the dlc would be installed separately likely normal. In this case you can disable it.

On ps3 in new accounts in BO1 doesnt save ur progress and in BO2 the game freezes while u loading the game, u need to start offline and then go online…
It sucks. I'm fortunate to have old accounts. But for new players it sucks big time

I honestly believe that the older CoD games on PS3 have no chance at growth and will only slowly die. Why? New players literally get buttfucked from the rank resets some of these games have and not to mention some of them having connection issues. It is all reliant on older players carrying the playerbase and those that played the game before leaderboards broke. I bought MW2 years back and I didn't find out until after playing the game that I'd be stuck on rank 1 no matter what I did.

It will slowly die until they fix it (which they very much likely won't). Old cods are thriving on Xbox thanks to their fix last year and backwards compatibility. Still hoping they release them to game pass or something so that we non Xbox players can join from pc

Idk man a lot of your aim was pretty Shakey when you were missing and saying it's your connection, you were on 3-4 bars. A few of those deaths definitely were the connection, but you're definitely more used to newer cods aiming mechanics. Obviously tweaks to the input curve have happened throughout all cods, aim assist is a bit different, but the biggest difference I've personally noticed between newer and older ones is newer cods have a brief acceleration of your input, it's something I have to readjust to every time I play a newer cod. I can't be sure how black ops is set up, if it has acceleration or not, but I know MW2 doesn't. Not trying to be a hater I just know these little differences can throw you off. I play MW2 on PS3 with 9 sensitivity. I remember black ops feeling a bit more clunky to aim in but it's been ages
100% my aim was off. The dead zones mess with me a lot. When you play plutonium you can change the dead zones and it's such a better game when you do. However we did a live stream of this game yesterday and went into a combat training against bots and the hit reg is just night and day. The inconsistency of the connection makes the game not fun in my opinion. At least not for long play sessions anyway. I can go into a game and be shot round the corner, be one shot, have someone see me way before I see them. It's just the reality of these player to player connections. I would really like to see these games just brought up to speed with dedicated servers. A man can hope haha. Anyway thank you for watching. Make sure you have a PSN account that was created before 2018(don't know the exact date). Old cods don't work properly with newer accounts since the psn update that allows you to change your username. For instance black ops 1 works but it will never save your progress in multiplayer. Each time you come out the game you start at level 1. And in mw3 it just won't let you play at all.
@@JOFFY53R ah i dont care really , specially in BO1, where leveling to 55 was done in an afternoon.
Basically 2h playing bo online is enough to reach lvl 30, so in one day you can already have fun since the leveling was fast.
