      Since the nun did share clips of the audio before (not the full audio only clips), I am guessing she wouldn't mind that the full audio is released

      @GeorgeGeorge-by2lf because the nun was using the audio and actively sharing it online, also what do you even mean? This whole thing started because the nun didn't agree to the bishop replacing her as head or superior of her convent because she commited a mortal sin and broke one of her vows the audio justified the bishop reasoning

      @GeorgeGeorge-by2lf what are you talking about he does has the authority accoding to canon law 667 s 2 and canon law 682 s 1 and 2 plus they already did contact the vatican he had the authority to do this from the very start, also this wasn't an interrogation did you listen to the audio? The bishop was very soft spoken he may be a bit hot headed and wrong in his way of handling certain things like restricting the mass to the nuns was un called for but the way he handled his "questioning" is definitely not one of it, also what stealing property? The bishop did not take down the monastery. Idk what you meant by the Bishop not having specifi, it already been proven that he does have the authority to do this according to canon law and a Vatican decree, the nun has confessed in 5 different occasion that she has broke her vow of chastity and the 6th commandment heck the priest she broke her vow with has been identified and has been suspended in their clerical duties. Don't let your feeling cloud your judgment or logic

    Catholic canon law states that “the sacramental seal is inviolable; therefore it is absolutely forbidden for a confessor to betray in any way a penitent in words or in any manner and for any reason.” The penalty for purposefully violating this law is automatic excommunication
    What happens if the seal of confession is broken?
    Punishment for breaking the seal of the confessional is conferred by the severity of the violation: "a confessor who directly violates the seal of the confessional," that is: explicitly connects a sin to a penitent, "incurs a latae sententiae excommunication."

    • @johnpaulsandoval6178
      @johnpaulsandoval6178 Год назад

      @keithmayhewhammond5357 Under investigation because she confessed to this Bishop only to be questioned several times more about it later by the same Bishop which the conversation was recorded.
      It is called the seal of confession for a reason. It's not to be betrayed and never to be recorded with intent to reveal later.
      Watch Alfred Hitchcock "I confess" it puts on display how serious the seal of confession really is.

    • @johnpaulsandoval6178

      @keithmayhewhammond5357 the confession did happen, only the Bishop came back to speak to this Nun a 2nd and 3rd time at some point the conversation was recorded. I'm pretty sure she caught onto this because it is not normal for a Bishop to do. Add to the fact that Confession is meant for mortal sins it raises an eyebrow as to why this was used against her?

      As a US citizen the prioress cannot be forced from her home by anyone, even if they are a bishop.
      It would appear that the prioress has grounds to sue the Bishop to sue for harassment and defamation of character.
      Anytime ownership of property is idisputed, (which may be the bishop's ultimate motivation) it is within the jurisdiction of the State judicial system. Just because the Vatican in Rome, Italy, says the Bishop has jurisdiction over the monastery doesn't change the land deeds an other legal documents showing that the property is owned by a non-profit whose board consists of the Nuns.
