Zeppelin has a good mix of hard and soft rock. Try some of these soft songs by them: - Going to California - The Rain Song - All My Love - Thank You - Battle of Evermore - Down By the Seaside - Tangerine I also would suggest a very heavy blues song called "You Shook Me". It's fantastic!

I was a kid learning drums and when I heard this I didn't know how I would ever be able to do it. Eventually I did, but Bonzo set that bar nice and high and gave me alot to work toward in my drumming career.
"Rock and Roll" is one of their many songs that still sounds fresh after over 50 years. You can also try the pounding "Trampled Under Foot" or the country-influenced "Hot Dog"
The world's first exposure to Led Zeppelin: song 1 on side 1 of their self-titled album from 1969. Calling it "Beatles-like" is actually appropriate, as this came out right around the time The Beatles were winding down. (Passing the torch, as it were.)
It may not be their best, but LZ1 has always been my favorite LZ album. Start to finish, there's not a bad song on it. I wore out 2 copies on cassette playing it over and over. Both sides open phenominally, with the B-side opening with JPJ on organ kicking off Your Time Is Gonna Come. Magical.
This is the first track off their first album. Keep in mind, this came out in 1969. Groundbreaking and heavy for the times. And John Bonham’s foot pedal work set the mark for all future drummers.
My favourite definitely "BABE I"M GONNA LEAVE YOU" ... absolute KILLER blues with an acoustic latin flavour mixed with power rock guitar and vocals !!!!

Also "All my Love" for a later Zep ballad. "Good Times Bad Times" is the only single (released 10 Mar 1969) from Led Zeppelin's debut album, "Led Zeppelin I" (released 12 Jan 1969). The song reached number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
I used to live in Florida in the late 80s, and up sprung this radio station that lasted for maybe an entire year or two that played nothing but Led Zeppelin. Really. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week Led Zeppelin all the time. And people listened to it and loved it!

Led Zeppelin were very diverse, like the Beatles. It's what makes them such a great band. Blues rock, folk rock, hard rock and ballads. Y'all should check out their song "Thank You" a sweet love song that could be a wedding song. In fact, Plant wrote it for his wife, Maureen when they got married. If you do react to it, keep in mind the ending fades out and comes back in.

One great Zeppelin song that falls under the radar is "Wearing and Tearing"--since it was released on their final original album ("Coda") in 1982--after they'd broken up following John Bonham's death.
This was the very first song off their first album and you can hear the guitar and bass interweaving throughout - it is phenomenal. They have over 100 songs in their catalogue so you've a ways to go. My favorite of theirs is The Rain Song. It is moody, melancholy, yet delicate and triumphant. If you do it, please try to do it with as few interruptions as possible (if any - please please) otherwise the beauty of the listening experience will be utterly crushed.
They have to interrupt. Otherwise the video will get pulled for copyright infringement. The only reason the reaction videos are allowed is because of the reactions. Odds are, if they like a song enough, they will add it to their personal listening list on their phone or other device and then they will have the opportunity to listen uninterrupted.
@@henriettaskolnick4445, It's RUclips software. It isn't perfect or imperfect. It also depends on the artist, or those who represent the artist, those who own the property, who set how strictly the policy is adhered to. Places of business, like bars, have to pay a yearly fee to be able to play copyrighted music. They can get into major trouble if they don't pay for the right to play such music. But, many places don't. They have to be caught first.
Legend has it Glynn Johns, who had just finished producing this single with Led Zeppelin in the winter of '68, brought a custom acetate vinyl of this to the Beatles "Get Back" sessions in 69....it broke up the band. 🎸🔥😎
@@k.t.5405 Lol no, it didn't break up the Beatles but good story. Glyn did, however, play the acetate for George, who didn't care much for it. Even so, George would occasionally party with the band and inspired Jimmy to write The Rain Song after George said Zep didn't have any ballads.
My favorites are Black Dog and Kashmir. You've done both of those, so try Gallow's Pole next. This was the opening track on the 1st album and their first single in the US.
For me, their song 'Thank You' is one of their prettiest songs. The song is a 'Thank you' from Robert Plant to his wife Maureen for her love. The organ parts that John Paul Jones plays, Plant's vocals. Jimmy Page plays acoustic and a 12 string electric for added colour. Bonham's drum parts are just right for the song. Plant referenced other members of his family in other songs: 'The Ocean' has a line that refers to his daughter and the song 'All of My Love' is a tribute to his son. 🥁🎹🎤🎸 😎
Listen to the drums on this song. One of the MANY reasons Led Zeppelin Rocks, often overlooked. But this is not just your typical drum section. This guy really had some rythm and a very unique style that made a simple rythm a surprise and a joy. Databyter
"Good Times, Bad Times" was the 1st charting single from Led Zeppelin's debut LP in 1969, peaking @ #80/charted for 4 weeks. But the next single release was "Whole Lotta Love" -- their biggest Billboard Hot 100 hit, peaking @ #4. Led Zeppelin was Grammy nominated for Best New Artist of 1969 but lost to Crosby, Stills & Nash. Other nominees were Chicago and 2 artists with brief careers: Oliver ("Good Morning Starshine" from "Hair" & "Jean" from "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" - both Top 5 hits) and Neon Philharmonic for "Morning Girl." So 3 legendary groups got Grammy attention from the get-go.
Favorite Led Zeppelin song is -Since I've Been Loving You. I believe Jay did it when the channel first started but Amber would love the blues in it and I don't believe she has heard it!
I vote for "The Ocean" next. And let me throw two out there that I don't see anyone else mentioning: "Night Flight" and "Fool in the Rain". And of course "Achilles Last Stand", but that's more complex. Only do that when you feel it.
Great reaction!, this is their first song on their debut album. the album was released in early 1969, but was recorded in 1968. Jay! you like strong high pitched voices, check out "You shook me" on the same album. I also suggest checking out their all time classic "Stairway to heaven" studio version first then live. Thanks 😃 Peace!☮
Something jumped out at me this time. This a RUclips, which favored singles, but when I was a Freshman in college and we'd listen to music, we put on an LP. Rock Music, thanks to the Beatles, had evolved beyond singles. We listened to the whole side then flipped it over for side two. Good Times Bad Times becomes Dazed and Confused without a break and seamlessly goes on from there. It tells its own story. Long Jimmy Paige guitar concertos, Bonzo drum solos moving from ear to ear inside your head. John Paul Jones subtle bass dynamics controlling it. And Over Under Around and Through Robert Plant bleeding emotion and heart . When I'm saying is, if you really want to DIG LZ like we did. Do an album side. Not only will it all connect, but echoes of what came before return at the end. We used to call it Magical. Maybe someday you will too.
“My woman left me for a brown eyed man”.. You guys should check out Dirty Loops and their song Rock You. Here’s the link to the video ruclips.net/video/gYc5zrXC52k/видео.html

Zep was made up of four extremely talented members. This particular song show cases each of their talents but take a second listen and enjoy John Bonham's contribution. It often gets lost is the momentum of the music Another great song (under rated) is "How Many More Times" off their first album. It's one of those songs that gets better with age. Keep up the great work you are doing. It's fun watching your reaction.
This is your eleventh LZ song. So many more to go! I recommend "D'yer Maker", "The Ocean", and "Ramble On" for your next outing. I also want to throw out "Big Log" and "Tall Cool One", two bangers by Robert Plant.
Led Zeppelin: Thank You, In the Light and Going to California (much slower songs) Thank You was my friends wedding song when they were 20 years old in 1986.
Amber I can see the sadness and tears in your eyes. I know it must be so difficult for you guys to put on a happy face for us. Our hearts are broken for the children/families of Uvalde Texas. Thank you for trying to give us a bright spot to a heart wrenching time. ❤
It's known that in the beginning when they first got together to jam, after a few songs they all just stopped, looked at each other and laughed. They knew they had something special.
I believe they had 73 songs on the original 8 albums and about 68 of them kick ass, so it's hard to go wrong. But here are 5 i highly recommend. Ten Years Gone - the beginning of the power ballad. 3 incredible guitar tones in one song. Since I've Been Loving You - their best blues song, just amazing. Achilles Last Stand - 11 minutes of the most beautifully brutal drumming you'll ever hear. Over The Hills And Far Away - one of their best and most groovy songs. In The Light - their most trippy song, a synthesizer epic. Love you guys. When you get the chance let's hear more Scorpions, Night Ranger, Pearl Jam and maybe some Cake and Tool.
Great reaction video, as always. Y'all never disappoint! If you want to widen your Zeppelin experience, try Over the Hills and Far Away. I don't think I've seen you do that one.I know you'll love it.
This is the First Song on Led Zeppelin first Album so back in 68 when people bought this Album and put this song on they must have been blown away with this song
Since I've Been Loving You is my absolute favorite Zeppelin song. But if you want to hear a killer mellow Zeppelin song try, Going To California. Love you guys.
Led Zeppelin was a true band - four guys who you couldn't replace a member of and have Led Zeppelin. They never recorded the same song twice. Hard rock, soft rock, whatever. Sex, lemons, Lord of the Rings. My favorite band because of the talent and passion they brought to their songs.

@@bosgaurus1 it seems so arbitrary, I've seen other reactions that don't have that issue (*shrug *). One can hope.
Zeppelin does mellow extremely well. If you want my favorite, I'd start with "Thank You" So beautiful ♥
My favorites are Black Dog and Kashmir. You've done both of those, so try Gallow's Pole next.
This was the opening track on the 1st album and their first single in the US.
Whenever you listen to a Led Zeppelin song never expect what you think you’re going to expect.
Thank you is an amazing song, and the way it ends is a trip...
And the Bron-Y-Aur Stomp, which is about Plant's dog. :)
Other nominees were Chicago and 2 artists with brief careers: Oliver ("Good Morning Starshine" from "Hair" & "Jean" from "The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie" - both Top 5 hits) and Neon Philharmonic for "Morning Girl." So 3 legendary groups got Grammy attention from the get-go.
the album was ground breaking this is the late 60s nothing out there like it the beginning of heavy metal
Thanx Google... Oops, I mean Mark..😆
Favorite Led Zeppelin song is -Since I've Been Loving You. I believe Jay did it when the channel first started but Amber would love the blues in it and I don't believe she has heard it!
Man this is one of Zep's bangers. Easily my favorite off the debut.
"When The Levee Breaks" is a tune you gotta do! :)
already done.
@@thorfinsky1427 lol, I forgot. I'm sure I made a comment on that too .😁
The song that introduced zeppelin to the world!! First song on first album!!
I vote for "The Ocean" next. And let me throw two out there that I don't see anyone else mentioning: "Night Flight" and "Fool in the Rain".
And of course "Achilles Last Stand", but that's more complex. Only do that when you feel it.
Fool in The Rain, All of my Love, The Ocean, and so many more Zepplin songs you need to hear.
This isn’t just another Zeppelin song. This is the first song of their first album. First song anyone ever heard from them on an album.
Maybe someday you will too.
never get tired of Zep and Johns percussion so incredible
“My woman left me for a brown eyed man”..
You guys should check out Dirty Loops and their song Rock You.
Here’s the link to the video

I thought it was better man.
But then I heard it!
Brown eyed man(foreigner). The dominant eye color in Europe is blue. Robert plant has that dominant eye color.
Legend has it Glynn Johns, who had just finished producing this single with Led Zeppelin in the winter of '68, brought a custom acetate vinyl of the unreleased single to the Beatles "Get Back" sessions in early 69....it broke up the band. 🎸🔥😎
The Rain Song and Ten Years Gone are my absolute favorite Zeppelin songs. Both very mellow but absolutely STUNNING!
If you want to check out a mellow Led Zeppelin song, listen to Thank You. It's a very touching song.
There it is. Led Zep "one" again. Takes me back to the 60s. Great times .
Mellow zeppelin would be Going to California, Misty Mountain Hop, The Battle of Evermore. You guys will also love Hey Hey What Can I Do
I would add Ramble On to that list.
@@michaelnordan8603 definitely a great song idk if I’d call it mellow though, especially the ending 1/3rd
@@nickbarber3315 yeah, more of a hybrid, I guess.
How many more times has been my favorite ever since it came out. And now it is remastered ! Extraordinary !
Zep was made up of four extremely talented members. This particular song show cases each of their talents but take a second listen and enjoy John Bonham's contribution. It often gets lost is the momentum of the music
Another great song (under rated) is "How Many More Times" off their first album. It's one of those songs that gets better with age.
Keep up the great work you are doing. It's fun watching your reaction.
The lyric is "brown eyed man" 😂😂😂 And my favorite Led Zeppelin song? I couldn't pick just one if you put a gun to my head, there's too many
My woman left home with a Brown eyed man and i still don't seem to care
Zeppelin is all about the riff!! And this song has a KILLER guitar riff! Love watching your reactions :-)
Jay/Amber, you'll love their "Heartbreaker"/"Living Loving Maid" and "Rock and Roll" !!!
Yes but you have to listen to heartbreaker and have it meld into living loving maid
@@nickbarber3315 thanks for the reminder! done
A favourite, short and sweet - blistering solo.
This is your eleventh LZ song. So many more to go! I recommend "D'yer Maker", "The Ocean", and "Ramble On" for your next outing. I also want to throw out "Big Log" and "Tall Cool One", two bangers by Robert Plant.
The Ocean is my absolute favorite.
Love most of their songs. If you want mellow Thank You is my favorite. Beautiful lyrics.
Please react to the beautiful "Silent Lucidity" from Queensryche. One of the best ballads ever!
Led Zeppelin: Thank You, In the Light and Going to California (much slower songs) Thank You was my friends wedding song when they were 20 years old in 1986.
Tight, hard, multi-talented...just a few words to describe this super rock group. Bonzo...oh Bonzo !
my favorite led zeppelin song? it changes every day.
My favorite changes with the seasons. This summer it's "The Rain Song", a beautiful ballad.
Amber I can see the sadness and tears in your eyes. I know it must be so difficult for you guys to put on a happy face for us. Our hearts are broken for the children/families of Uvalde Texas. Thank you for trying to give us a bright spot to a heart wrenching time. ❤
Going to California is probably Zeppelins most mellow song. There are some others that are mellow too. When they get mellow it's downright beautiful.
this was they're very first single off their first album...blew me away right from the start!!
My favourite....ALL OF THEM!!!!!! HA they are the GOAT.
First song on the first album. 1969. Changed my life. Picked up drum sticks and never looked back....been playing 50 years...
First song..first side ..first album..this started the ball rolling🎶🎸😎
Great reaction video, as always. Y'all never disappoint!
If you want to widen your Zeppelin experience, try Over the Hills and Far Away. I don't think I've seen you do that one.I know you'll love it.
That is my favorite by Zeppelin. Great song.
This is the First Song on Led Zeppelin first Album so back in 68 when people bought this Album and put this song on they must have been blown away with this song
This album spawned the tee- shirts . Led Zeppelin the first album blew our minds .
He definitely said "Brown eyed man" Few of my favorites are, Rock and roll, The Ocean, Gallows pole, All of my love. I'm sure you'd enjoy those.
Since I've Been Loving You is my absolute favorite Zeppelin song. But if you want to hear a killer mellow Zeppelin song try, Going To California. Love you guys.
This is the first song on their debut album, "Zeppelin I." Very good song......you guys should react to the entire album.
First song, first album. Where Led Zeppelin journey begins.
Led Zep's first single, first track of first album, never ages
Greatest Rock and Roll Band....EVER!
Song number one from album number one by Led Zeppelin. It only builds from there.
Favourite Led Zep songs are: Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You; How Many More Times; Bring It On Home; Black Dog; In My Time of Dying.
I saw Led Zeppelin in concert in 1969 and they opened with this song.
Lucky Devil ! I was ten years too late ....
