Happy upcoming birthday! Cayenne looks awesome looking forward to seeing you working on it. I sold my 99/996 recently and got a low milage 09 987.2 Cayman. Anyway good to see your doing a lot better health wise.

Looking at 13 with a tad over 100k on it. Dont see that the transfer case was replaced on carfax. I see a few transfer case services. Were you wary driving yours knowing it was the original case? Also how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking? Great channel...take care.

No it was replaced at 69000 miles-but in another video I changed the fluid-front brake pads and tires! Was fine..I sold it to my Aunt and Uncle 3 weeks ago..I miss it already !

@BaldadonisMike2021 yeah I watched the video....good stuff. Just a bit hesitant as it's out of the 10 year warranty from porsche and I'm hearing it's when it goes...not if. Could be like 5k with parts and labor... dealer is looking for 22k for the truck. Was that in the ballpark you paid?

Nice pig! What some call the cayenne in the P community.
I’ve got a 958 GTS as well, bought used at 71k miles, currently at 102k. Def check out Rennlist, loads of information and DIYs. I would recommend checking the thermostat housing, a known component to fail if it’s the design that has the coolant pipes glued.
During my ownership, I had to replace the battery and starter . The passenger rear lock actuator needs replacing as well (common). Oh, and check the drain holes..they get clogged and that can cause some headaches.
Enjoy the truck, especially the na v8!!

Thanks for the comment ! Yes the past owner only serviced it at Porsche as well as the owner prior to him...have you done a walnut cleaning ?(valves ) this pig runs a bit rough and I don't think thats been done..starter was replaced at $3000 ouch last year..battery as well..It was garaged all its life so hopefully the drains are clog free but I will check that out and when I go for my new tires and brakes I ll have the thermostat looked it! Thank again for reaching out!

Looking for a fun daily. I see one for sale for $15,000 with 140,000 miles, i know Porsches have long lifespans , but how about the 2013 gts cayenne?

I sold mine to my aunt and uncle ,I did put front brake pads /transfer case fluid /tires and had the 2 rims straighten out ..I love it!
But about 6 weeks later he had a coolant issue that cost $1800 to fix! I My cost would have been much less but he lives near the RI area .He just wanted to get it fixed and found a shop down there..
I dont know if I would buy another ..Battery installed and programmed is $1000 alone..(Porsche ) Let me know if you buy it! Good luck

Well I just got it so I really havent driven it too aggressively -yet- I think you have to be in the RPM to get it moving..but for the size and weight I thinks its ok..Im not impressed myself to be honest -but it's a nice cruiser for sure! My BMW X5 Diesel (tuned) I think was faster ...again I havent driven it aggressively ...
