Thanks so much!! glad you liked it!
As usual well explained and easy to understand. So many tutorials on youtube don’t explain strums except here. Thanks again Kelly for another well done tutorial
Thanks so much Anton! Much appreciated! Kelly
This is a great welcome home to me. I love this song, and I'm happy to try to upgrade my version of it like this. I really missed strumming my ukuleles while I was away. I'm not going away that long again without taking one with me. Thanks for a great tutorial on a classic. And, I had no idea this had a Canadian origin.
Hey Lucy! It looks like you guys had a great trip! Put the kettle on and enjoy your uke time while relaxing at home. Nothing like it!
Super
Hey Steve! Glad you liked it! Thanks - Kelly
Kelly, great song and one I know the words off by heart. The penny dropped how i.e. Roy Rogers. Showing my age here now. :-) Always a treat when this time of the week rolls around. Thank you for your wonderful lessons.
Thanks Therese! Roy Rogers!! (I hear ya on that one 😉!) Glad you're enjoying the "weekend ukulele club!"
Hello! Is it okay to use coated copper alloy strings on the banjolele I have? The one I bought seems to have backup copper strings that came with it, from the same manufacturer of the banjolele too.
Hi there! If they are supplied with it as new from the manufacturer I would assume so...but it would be worth checking with them just to be on the safe side. Was it strung with some type of "nylon" strings (ie Nylgut, fluorocarbon etc) originally from the factory? You just need to be sure the instrument is set up to handle the tension of steel strings.
Wow you make it easy to understand. Thanks.
Question .. your banjolele tenor or bariton?
17" or 19" scale?
Hey James ! Thanks!! My Duke is a tenor scale (around 17"). Kelly
