I don't get how the crowd just sits there and claps casually after this marvelous performance. This deserved a standing ovation for at least a good minute lol maybe even an award.

Maybe you know now, but he did play Paganini in The Devil’s Violinist” 2015. Wasn’t a very historically accurate movie, but was interesting and, of course, was great to see an actual violinist play the part.

The violin is man's true companion for many reasons. 1. Both violin and man are hard to understand. 2. Both know each other's minds once knowing each other. 3. i've dreaming about me watching paganini's 24 caprices LIVE recital in 1800's, and everything i see in my dream were ancient. I experienced this dream very real in all aspects. It's just that it looks vague and blurry. Perhaps it was because I fell asleep in my daydream to be a pedestrian in paganini's time on a trip to a concert hall I did not know the name of. In my dreams, I looked at Paganini like a king, but it seems that now Paganini can be played by all violinists at any time in our homes.
I have never been so moved by a violin performance. I think it's either Paganini's or David's achievement...probably both. Thanks for a great performance.

He was an average conductor. The orchestra was always half a beat behind the downbeat of his baton.

Based on historic records, paganini was an incredible showman, so this is as close to the real paganini as any of us today will ever get

И стоимость такого инструмента на сегодня - порядка 7 -8 млн. долларов. Великие Страдивари и Гварнери - всемирно известные мастера, создавшие лучшие скрипки всех времён и народов. Каждый, уважающий себя скрипач, мечтает иметь и играть на такой. А чтобы всё сразу стало понятно, попробуйте прослушать 24 Каприс Паганини в исполнении других музыкантов, и на обычном инструменте...

А перед смертью завещал легендарный инструмент музею родного города - Генуи. Она и по сей день находится там. Когда выдающийся скрипач посещает этот музей, ему предоставляют возможность поиграть на скрипке Паганини. Кажется, Дэвид делал это. Но, признается, что Страдивари ему ближе. Вот они, гении, какие...

i've dreaming about me watching paganini's 24 caprices LIVE recital in 1800's, and everything i see in my dream were ancient. I experienced this dream very real in all aspects. It's just that it looks vague and blurry. Perhaps it was because I fell asleep in my daydream to be a pedestrian in paganini's time on a trip to a concert hall I did not know the name of. In my dreams, I looked at Paganini like a king, but it seems that now Paganini can be played by all violinists at any time in our homes.
