Parallax X - Comparing and checking out what's new

- I received an email this morning that the Parallax X has been released and was updated from the previous Neural DSP app "Parallax". I was excited to check it out and see how the new features translate to the bass app I primarily use for recording and playing bass through my computer.
I did find a few issues with some of the older sounds. They sort of messed up the settings on them. Thankfully I checked them in the comparison and made my own new settings for them. I hope you guys enjoy the video. I haven't made a video like this is a little while.

How well is the transpose for bass? And glitchy tracking? Maybe I'll get it on black friday when it's inevitably half off again
So far transpose sounded fine to me. The only glitchy thing I noticed was 3 of their factory sounds were off from their original sounds. I fixed them in the video though. Sorry it was a little lengthy. Sadly I cut a lot out too. I need to work on my editing skills and planning a little better but I wanted to record this as I was going through it the first time. It’s more of a reactionary video.
As always... The most important thing is reference tone. How the bass sounds without plugin?
Great point. The bass is a pretty simple cheap bass but it’s a fender squire so it’s got a decent sound. It’s running direct into the mark of the unicorn and into my computer. Thanks for the tip.
No disrespect, but this one of the worst Bass plugins ever made
No disrespect taken….Fair enough. I don’t know much different. I enjoy it for what it is. What do you recommend? I’d be curious to check out some other ones. Thanks for checking out the channel and leaving a comment.

I agree. I’m waiting for a response as to what they recommend, I’d like to try other stuff out. Gotta keep an open mind. I’m always looking for better stuff out there. Besides one persons idea of great is someone else’s idea of garbage, you can’t please them all.
