@@Anandmahangoe recently had the pickups switch out for some Alnico-2s. Turns out they were PAF but I’m not sure what kind since I’m still a beginner when it comes to guitar electronics
@@Nenga117 Wow PAFs !! Which did you like better ?
@@Anandmahangoe I enjoy the Alnicos. They have more clarity and warmer tone especially at higher volumes however the PAFs have more range & treble. There are some times where I wish the PAFs were still there so I can play some blues/softer rock tunes but man these Alnicos sure do bite!
@@Nenga117 perfect man ! I myself aim for the warmer tones…but sure like the PAFs in my Gibson ES335 ;)
What gauge strings are you playing here? Thnx
Hi Steve, I am using Elixir 0.11-0.49 on all my Guitars , thanks for watching !
That's what I use, thanks@@Anandmahangoe
Without the pickguard, it looks just like my Slash goldtop. KILLER guitar. Great playing.
Thanks a lot man and I do love it without the pickguard !! Awesome guitar !
