Hi Lori, I watched this and thought, "What have I got to lose?" - so I did a quick Midjourney prompt for "cosy home office nook" , took the nicest picture it came up with and then tried to replicate as best I could the items that were in the image, plus a few other home office essentials. Created the link for the list and posted to Pinterest. In a week I've had 767 views, 3 pins and 20 clicks. So not a bad start for something I thought I'd try out. It was all pretty straightforward too. Took me about one hour, but now it's setup will take minutes to create new pins. Thanks for the idea!!

Hey, do you have any strategy recommendations? how many pins should I post per day? I just started using Pinterest last month and I'm getting more outbound clicks to my Amazon storefront, but no one has bought anything yet. My earnings are still at 0. I have 3 idea lists with over 100 products each. Any advice?
great idea.. how many pins do you post per day as a beginner and do you use any scheduling tool for it?
I've been dabbling with many, and I don't have a hard and fast rule for any of them yet. I'm testing and measuring. Also testing various platforms that design the pins. Once I have a successful pattern that seems to prove valuable, I will share.

No you have absolutely put it in your landing page if so pinterest will ban you !

@@wendycardichon9605 can you show me where the terms of service show that direct linking to an affiliate page is not allowed? I'm seeing many pins doing this, but I haven't seen terms against it. I know back in the day, they prohibited Amazon affiliate links altogether. I'm trying to find where this is prohibited. Maybe I'll reach out to pinterest and ask directly.
@@Loriballen I got banned twice in the last month for posting Amazon links directly on my pins, and the accounts are not that old, so they catch on quickly, now I use apps like linktree to post on Pinterest
This is confusing. What do they mean by landing page ... If you are tagging items that people can purchase by linking the pin to Amazon .. why would you need a landing page? And could you get a landing page on Amazon?

If you have a WordPress website, I could show you how to create a landing page with a plugin I use that works with WordPress to make a list of Amazon products. Or, if you have something like a Shopify store, you can use an add-on that imports Amazon products and links to that page. OR, you can use your Amazon associates account to run a search and use the site stripe Chrome extension to get a link to the page.

Pinterest is not a payment platform, it's for people to see your products and click the link which then direct them to the products( or company products page e.g Amazon page if you registered on Amazon affiliate)if people now purchase via the affiliate link you provided, the affiliate company will now pay you through the bank details you provided when registering on their platform, I hope you get it
