I think it's pretty good. The open world is rich with tons of things to explore, but I did feel like there were some areas with much less to do than others. I'm a big fan of all the new weapons and weapon types that were added. I'm already thinking of new builds I want to run with the DLC additions. However I do think some of the bosses were didn't have the greatest movesets. Overall I would say it's a great DLC.

The world is beautiful and the OSTs are incredible but I didn’t like the bosses very much, especially the last one. It’s a good dlc but, at least for me, it doesn’t come close to The Old Hunters or Ringed City

Yea it’s definitely a quantity over quality. The DLC’s you mentioned were not HUGE DLCs but the content was perfect. Lore wise, bosses, gameplay etc. SOTE was enjoyable but once you go through it and digest it. You realize they could of done so much more.

No, best fromsoftware DLC is ringed city/ashes of ariendel, old hunters, artorias. Imo this DLC is on par with DS2’s DLCs. They are good but not their best.

Still the same old cheap game breaking boss design with input reading in order to crank up a fake sense of difficulty just like every end game boss in the base game. Fromsoft can't make hard bosses even if their lives depended on it.
Plus, with every passing day, this dlc really showcases how dumb this fandom is. a year ago, you had a cheese build, you were told to get gud. This dlc comes out, and every hardcore soul's definition of "getting gud" is rocking those cheese build. Now they're pissing on you and calling you dumb for not rocking the old cheese builds from the regular game. Seriously, it's the funniest shit to see how they'll just swap sides and act like everything they said about certain builds never came out their mouths.

Sounds like someone got their ass kicked by the DLC and can't cope with it lmao. Also, there was 1 (out of the hundreds of different kinds) enemy that had input reading, and it was patched out... If you're getting caught panic rolling or potion chugging that is on you 100%.
My only complaint was the camera when I got trapped in the corner of some specific boss arenas, but that's not a major complaint against a 40-60hr dlc imo.
Saying you need a cheese build just further shows that you're probably, un-ironically, need to get good. There's people who have no hit bosses and a guy who has *all* hit the bosses, so idk what crack you're smoking there.
