    Also in case of EARTHQUAKES the bricks are dangerous while the frame houses provide less danger to the occupants.

      Commieblocks over here can withstand up to magnitude 8 if built in the 80s.

    lets see how europe fares in a 7.0+ earthquake or a cat 4-5 hurricane, or F5 tornado.

    • @albertofoti4152
      @albertofoti4152 2 месяца назад

      they have 9+ earthquakes in japan.
      I'm from Italy, and 7+ happended before, and the buildings that respect the standards are still intact.
      If you have a lot of natural disasters, having a more durable house is better than a shitty house like you americans have.
      A tornado does nothing to a reinforced concrete building, what are you talking about?
      in Europe we don't have "bricks" like in the 1900s, we have reinforced concrete for the most part

      How?

    • @fungo6631
      @fungo6631 5 дней назад

      Look at Croatia.
      We get hurricane grade winds every so often during the winter and our commieblocks are built to handle up to magnitude 8 earthquakes for those built in the 80s.

    How many brick and stone houses go through earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes?
    If a wooden house is destroyed, it is cheaper to replace than a brick or stone house.

      Is better than brick and stone falling apart on you. Most people have storm shelters or basements that they hide when a storm hits. Vast majority of people survive.

      Tornadoes have outright obliterated brick and concrete structures before. They are FAR more powerful than you think they are.

    Ok how is it cheaper if USA has a housing market crisis

    • @KCH55
      @KCH55 8 месяцев назад

      I would say it's probably more like zoning laws that make it more expensive, not so much that these are inexpensive to make and if you think that inexpensive, wait until you learn about mobile homes. The only reason why people don't tend to like mobile homes is that well, trailer parks are in essence, a scam because you don't actually own your lot, It kind of defeats the purpose of a mobile home. These aren't like RVs or campers.

    Wooden houses are cheaper then concrete & bricks, but wooden houses are safe in the event of earthquake disaster, life will be much safer,.

      So its cheap to buy right?😅and i also think many americans think brick house are build with just put the bricks and pile each other and thats it,no cement and rainforce steel or what so ever to bind it,siriously you all?😅maybe american house law have no code at all for house build to prone earthquake either to brick or plywood house method😅

  • @sonnystaton

    You neglected the most important reason for 1/2 the country. 1/2 the country is covered in earthquake faults. Brick & stone are the worst materials to survive an earthquake. Building codes here in California all but completely eliminates the possibility of using brick or stone.

    As a californian it was stupid to me to build of wood. Then i seen the Haiti quake, and felt the 7.6 one here that did zero damage, huge difference. Yeah id rather be alive to rebuild my flimsy house

    Europeans used to build fortresses, grand pagan and Christian churches and homes out of wood.
    They ran out and also found stone to be more durable

    Any one lives on Greek or roman structures? In Europe many castles and other large structures built for ages are just Abandoned, no one wants to live in a old house that you cannot adapt to modern live style.

    Wooden houses actually last a very very long time as long as you keep them dry

  • @KCH55
    @KCH55 8 месяцев назад

    All right. First and foremost, it isn't better to have brick or stone buildings, and most parts of the European content, they do not have to face tornadoes to the severity that the Americas have or the earthquakes.
    Timber actually is better in many ways, especially older styled buildings that have actual older timber not plywood. Also timber is better when it comes to fires.
    * However, there are definite pros to stone brick or concrete. And that they provide more soundproofing, especially if your homes are very close together.
    And another thing is well. You may have parts of the house wood. Some of the parts of the house may be made out of brick or concrete. And older homes may even have stone. Usually it's a basement, or storm shelter that would be made from this.
    * Plywood is cheap so that's a reason, however, you think that's when you imagine mobile homes.
