I wish we could combined arrows with torches to help light up high walled caves
That's brilliant.
Optifine fire arrows
Flame:
Bowtorch mod :))
Arrow, string, torch.
Enchantment visual should be a toggled option, not unilaterally disabled. It should also be separate between inventory and world views.
When does this update come?
You mean as I've described it? When they put me in charge of accessibility.
I, for one, welcome this option. I hate how much items are glowing in a dark. On other players as items in my hands alike.
Sneaking in the deep dark, in complete darkness, but that glint on my sword and shield is blinding!
Was trying to get rid of it or reduce it back in like 2012, when I had my own Texture pack, as they were called back then, in vain.
This video is outdated already, they reverted the enchantment glint for items while keeping the low enchantment glint for armor. I feel like that's the issue with making informational videos about in progress updates
Ah, that's good to hear. And your point stands well. On the flip-side, I would also hope that these "current progress" types of videos on still-beta features also serve to highlight problematic changes so they can be addressed and fixed prior to showing up in a full release version.
I actually appreciate how he mentions his opinions. I too don’t like how they’re getting rid of the glint in the books
But in experimental settings in 1.19.4 pre release, the re-added enchanted glint they had in the first place. Though I'm not sure if it's staying in 1.20
Thats absolutely bull s****, why would they make their game worse? Also the smithing template... completely opened up a**ho*** is, what they have... 😫
It's not being removed, it's a changable slider in the accessibility options.
@@InternetSlavicMan Yeah but for what? A slight glow every 15 seconds when all the way up? that's horrible. could be done much better with that slider. so that everyone can pick like they like it..
@@beforelifewaschaos No, it's more like the FOV slider where it's intensity and speed is able to be changed. Intensity and speed levels are two different sliders, too. Please go play the game and look at the options for yourself.
I thought _glint removal_ was only supposed to affect potions, which, imo, look *way better,* because you can actually see the color of the potion, and tell what it does. I think removing it from books and gapples is an oversight.
Enchantment Glint was completely removed from potions because they're not enchanted.
For other items it's dialable now
@@YounesLayachi You don't think that was an oversight? Mojang just looked at it's market and said _read damnit!_
@@jarrod752 what is the oversight ?
For 1 snapshot the glint was weakened (not removed) excessively for all items, to make armour trims more visible
@@YounesLayachi Oh armor trims okay right. I know there was a reason.
@@YounesLayachi I always took it over the decades to mean magical item.
I think there is no reason to remove the enchantment glint like this. If the level of it is dialable, then have 100% be it how it is now, and have the lessened one be like a lessened level or whatever, not the deafault.
Good news, they readded it for items while keeping the lower glint for armor. Also the settings let you adjust it
@@gamebotpocket I would want to remove it for all inventory items but it still show on equipped armor
@@literatemax They separated the glint texture into two separate textures for armor and items, so if you wanted the opposite you would just need to swap their names in the default resource pack
I like the armor trims and different paints inside creative menu, but really don't like netherite upgrade and removal of enchantment glint
Fr
yea those changes are garbage
A finished netherite armor set will cost 80 diamonds to get instead of 24 if all trimmed.
I always felt like its pretty easy to get a full set of netherite armor. Whenever i played on a server with friends it took some of us just around 2 days of playing to get it… later on enchanting it and making ourselfes pretty much indestructible hahah. So imo making the gap between diamond and netherite larger is somewhat of a good change.
@@nicotomanicek9616 I think it’d be fine if netherite were better but netherite isn’t even that much better than diamond, like nobody complains about the cost of a full beacon because the benefits are worth it but for netherite gear idk unless they give it slightly more buffs like mining faster with the pick or something I don’t see it being worth it
The enchantment changes annoy me so much, that looks like complete crap now. Having the option to adjust it is a cool new addition, but why did they need to remove it then...
they already changed it lol. switched the glint back to how it was for items but kept the low glint for armor I believe.
Best informative minecraft youtuber, no clickbait just straight to the point
his clickbait could be removed tho
I mean the only false information is how they are just adding quick switching for armor. That has always been in the game.
@@lenoxpI they said for Java, bedrock already has this feature. But for those who play on computer, they don’t have that.
no, its always been in java on pc. Ive been playing java for years.@@BitterCyder
Well he did say "secret" features, even though they were publically announced
I'm glad potions glint less so they're distinguishable but Enchanted Gapples need to stand out more. And of course if Enchant Books came in more colors, we wouldn't even need too much glint.
I wish they would add a new texture for each enchanted book. That way we could tell what they were just by looking at it
@@coolhalo7770 Mixed enchanment books?
@@no8592 yes, like soul speed could have souls on it, flame could have a burning book, etc...
@@coolhalo7770 How would they do that with mixed enchantments? There's too many combos to even expect Mojang to work on that.
@@shmockette7158 mixed could have its own icon
I hope they add more paintings, it would explain separating them in creative
Corrections to this video: Most of these are coming to 1.19.4 and the fire spread by biome was always a feature it's just now just a tag for datapacks.
Also the enchantment glint was added back in.
This switching armour thing is in bedrock before and I used it quite a lot while playing in phone and when watching Minecraft in utube always made me wonder why do everyone stop to change armour
I had the sae thoughts about those who farmed dragon breath to make arrows 8 by 8 while it is possible to make a whole stack with just 3 of them.

I think the best use of mob head noteblocks is creating ambience for your builds without needing to use actual mobs. I think the best use would be to have waterlogged sculk sensors with mob head speakers to trigger whenever a player walks within a certain radius. Imagine having haunted houses with constant zombie moaning to keep you paranoid theres mobs running around, or maybe it gives a graveyard a bit of an undead liveliness.

Yeah I don’t think they are that stupid ngl. Remember in lord the ogling and ancient builders fought which means they must’ve been pretty intelligent
The change to book placement in chiseled bookshelves could be huge. Theoretically people could use that functionality to make not just pixel art, but also more compact/higher resolution (relative to the old standard of using 1 block for each pixel) displays that can be used for videos and animations.
i was thinking more for redstone purposes, like the classic secret room behind the bookshelves, activated by putting specific book in a specific place.
How long do you think it's gonna take for someone to make Bad Apple on a chiseled bookshelf?
Idk why they insist on making netherite harder
Edit: guys I do NOT care that netherite was easy for you. I didn’t use guides or anything like that I just searched the nether and found them so it was hard for me. Making players have to find a bastion doesn’t make it more challenging it just makes you have to spend more time searching🤦🏾
Because it's the best you can get so it shouldn't be easy to get, you have to earn it
Because it's piss easy to get it right now
Such a bad idea
The game is way too easy with it, and this makes bastions more worth exploring
Because it's pretty easy to get, that causes some pretty major balance problems for the game. Especially, for SMP's.
Hoppers and droppers can also insert and remove music discs from jukeboxes, and the jukeboxes themselves send a full strength redstone signal when playing a disc
you could like make an in-game playlist that loops around!
You can finally make a proper juke box then
Not only that, leading the signal out of them with a comparator will give different signal strengh for each disc
I think with the right texture pack people will make RGB displays using chisels bookshelves
Monster noteblock is kinda wild because it's almost like you're pushing the sound through the severed heads to shape the sound like a grisly talkbox
As much as I can understand the distaste for Upgrade templates and how you remake them I think their addition is a *really* good thing for minecraft since it’ll give Diamonds more uses once again and (probably) pave a pathway to making them feel special again
I doubt it. It 1 dimond per upgrade now. a set of armor and all the tools would just be 9 additional dimonds. You will probably find that before you find the netherite nesisery.
@@GoldenRedder which is still adding more necessity to diamonds, I still believe that this will possibly make Mojang add more uses for diamonds, they’re most likely just balancing it out so Diamonds don’t just have the 1 main purpose of recreating the templates
@@GoldenRedder once you make a full diamonds armor and tool set, you don't really need it, aside maybe for an enchantment table, but most people usually make just one
Once you make all of that you simply leave your diamonds getting dust in your chest. Adding these changes will raise diamonds value again, is it expensive? Yeah it is, but I think it should be if we're talking about the best material in the game
@@yosic.6814 I currently have at least 30 diamonds. I could upgrade a full set of dimonds and tools 3 times over if i had the netherite necessary.
villagers are just too op... don't know if they would ever consider nerfing some of their trades but yea this new trim and netherite upgrade system makes diamonds relevant again.
The Elytra armour switch has been in bedrock for a while, I had no idea it wasn’t in Java. Just another one of those weird parity differences 😅
The mesa biome looks pretty good with paintings. I’m gonna go do some decorating.
Personally I like the netherite upgrade change, but wish it was better in a way.
Netherite armor is a upgrade but just knockback, such a high price for them feels a bit much.
Ehh, I mean there's also the extra protection and fire immunity. But I guess I see where your coming from.
It also has extra armor vaule and can't burn and insane durablity. Its not just knockback
80 diamonds total for one trimmed neterite set. It's too many 😅
@@literatemax the ultimate price to pay for funny trim
Fr tho definitely very pricy. Fortunately Fortune III makes it not too hard to grind (heh)
@@literatemax I dont think so.
Leather armor trim can be used to identify teams. Also in mods to identify special enchants.
leather armor can be dyed, can't it ? am i missing something? why would trims be useful
@@arijeanz Sure, you can dye too. At 12:44 in the vid, @eyecraftmc noted that we can dye, and Now we can trim too, though he was skeptical about why Mojang might add this feature. I was just providing examples of how this might be useful.
we already have dye for that, maybe for signifying different ranks within larger teams.
ppl mising the point, dye AND trim adds almost infinite (game wise) combinations for meaning different things. you dont need just one, using them together would be awesome
ex, red dyed armor has fire protection but if you also give it an emerald trim maybe it also has mending or something. (although i wouldn't enchant leather i may just for the look now)
To be fair you can now EASILY mark teams with armor levels higher than leather, you could now do iron armor sets and mark teams with Redstone and lapis for easy identification while having things not be as weak as wood and leather equipment
Making netherite armor something you HAVE to go getting these special upgrades to make will make a lot of people who don't play ALL DAY not want to play as much. Just my 2 cents as that's how it makes me feel. Netherite is hard enough to get a hold of with 4 of them equaling 1 upgrade to begin with. Should make the upgrade something craftable out of diamonds and leather or something
It's late game armor, so it makes sense that it would be more expensive and harder to get, and besides diamond armor is still pretty good so you don't have to go get netherite
As a command block focused person in MC, I find that the best updates in 1.20 are the command functionalities. the NBT scale tags, the /ride, /damage, and even new entities/scoreboard objectives that they actually added make A LOT of things so much easier.
It's way more accesible now, since you can also get all admin blocks/items on the creative inventory, you just gotta enable it from the controls menu
I think the templates are actually a good thing. It was really easy to get netherite armor within days, now you actually have to fight for the best armor. I quite like it
yeah i agree Minecraft is too easy and fast to complete
Except this falls apart in multi-player especially if people quit the server with the templates.
Just destroys file size which adds to performance issues as well as making the game more tedious
it was time for a nerf
@@ML-sc3pt oh damn, I can't say much to that. I don't play on MPS. I only play single player, so I can't say much. But you do have a point here, I think.
Maybe it can be deactivated per command or people will have to make a mod in the worst case scenario
I think enchantment glints should have a optional setting to have full on enchantment glints for players who prefer the look. It would be in setting and I would love the game a lot more.
I am so pissed about the netherite thing ngl
80 diamonds for a trimmed Netherite set. It's absurd
@@literatemax like if they even just made it available in fortresses too that would make me much less upset ab it
It basically makes Netherite equipment in general unoptainable (not that it was easy to come by before...)
Even if I would finally get it... I probalbly wouldn't wear it out of fear of losing it... which is stupid
I personally love the netherite upgrade, now its actually difficult to get the best armor in the game
Btw getting netherite armor is pretty easy in 1.19, it's not that rare to find and gold is pretty cheap, so now it takes more effort to getting something as overpowered as netherite, 1.20 is one of My favorite updates o far
@@literatemax That's only if you choose to duplicate the templates, which if you're lazy you should only need to do once or twice depending on how good your local bastion is. Though, if you take the time to just explore another one, you'll have what you need, and some spares.
The option for glint needs to be better and be able to increase it even past it’s original glint! That would be the best
Yea MORE glint is obviously the only move
*instant armor switching is really useful actually*
Bedrock edition had it for a while
@@noobyplayz2840 *yup ik, for me it was mostly useful in the nether bc of the piglins*
Wow I actually had no idea the biome affected fire spread speed
they’re making netherite even harder AND removing enchantment visual ??? These updates seem pretty bad, what were they thinking 😭
It's because it's too easy to get netherite armor as the game is now aswell as adding a reason for players to explore bastions in the nether. I bet there's alot of players who haven't even thought of going into a bastion before now, because it was never necessary until now. A good change from a gameplay perspective.
Enchantment glints were changed because it might make it difficult to see the new armor trims on armor. Which is fair enough, but I think they went a little overboard with this. They should have just added the slider in settings and left it at that, instead of decreasing the maximum glint possible.
@@dragonbladeiv9224 I agree with the changes you proposed, or maybe making the effect more opaque when viewed from up close
@@dragonbladeiv9224 yesh trims are crap af imo. Sadly everthing is about cosmetics nowdays
@@dragonbladeiv9224 Too easy? The only thing that makes it easy is beds. Try strip mining it in your next world. Also I’d argue that netherite shouldn’t be vastly difficult to get as it’s really not that much better than diamond
@@th9986 Sooo..you agree it's easy then. And think of it like this: Diamond is better than iron, and harder to get right? Why wouldn't Netherite (wich is better than diamond) be harder to get too. It's progression in a game. It's supposed to get harder. Plus it adds reason to visit Bastions, which coming from someone who studied game design, I thinks that's a good idea.
Edit: it's also not vastly difficult to get in 1.20, u basically just need one bastion and your set
Secret change few know about:
Boats on ice can now go up ice blocks. So you can build ramps now.
That got patched in the snapshot
Dagnamnit
Mojang: Added new paintings
Xali: Oh nice time to create a resource pack to make them unique
1.20 is gonna be a very interesting update like the mob head note block sounds is gonna be sick!
I can't wait into it comes out
I like the painting one, but I really don't like the less enchantment glint. The armor trim is pretty interesting.
I kinda like having to go and get all the parts needed to upgrade your diamond armor into netherite. It adds a bit more challenge to the game.
It’s not even a “challenge” it’s just more tedious unnecessary work. It would be challenging if their was a mob or a boss defending a bunch of them or the structure had some puzzles to it, which for the trails & takes update, fits the theme. But no, just walk until you get a bastion and hope to RNG you get enough.
It’s just an an extra chore that just requires 1 gold armor, RNG, building blocks, and awareness of Piglins being around. That’s not a challenge that’s busy work.
The enchantment glint is fully customizable. He had it at about 50%, but you *can* set it to 100% to make it (I believe) even more vibrant than the original.
Also holy cow, how do you manage to stretch such a small amount of an update into 18 and a half minutes worth of video? I'm honestly impressed.
The enchantment glint is NOT being removed. It's now a slider in accessibility options, akin to the FOV effects sliders.
Max slider appears to be tiny glint ammount
🤓
I think the netherite upgrade mechanic is much better since it now makes getting the strongest armour in the game even harder and a lot more special. Since most players now can spend 2-3 hours on minecraft and get a full netherite set.
You know, I'm not sure why people want to make a casual game about building, mining and crafting so much harder in vanilla. I've been playing mods to give the game challenge for years an all the ways mod have used have been infinitely more fun than shitty dive bombing bats, increased spawn rates and more strip mining.
Lol the creeper head on the note block, I'd definitely start sprinting!
There's a pack called visible glint which makes the enchanted items have so much glint it's so cool, when you wanna apply it you'll find that it was made for a previous Minecraft version but no problem it works just fine.
I feel like the upgrade system is already a missed opportunity on their part. If they are going to change it soon to start forcing template cost per upgrade, they might as well open it up for boosting even non-diamond armor as well.
This could expand the flexibility of utilizing less favored armors choices, like giving leather/iron armor etc… greater toughness, armor value, durability to become closer to be in lined with their diamond cousin. Having diamond/netherite enhanced leather armor, especially with the armor dying would be pretty cool, if they were actually survivable.
Same with the gold tools. Right now gold tools are a wasted gimmick, when they are stuck with only 32 durability while diamond and netherite are in the thousands. If that durability gap can be bridged a bit through enhancement, it would be very interesting to utilize that absurd tick-speed of gold efficiency in a more viable way.
Gold Tools with unbreaking 3 last quite some time AND are the fastest tools in the game. (Yes even faster than netherite)
@@Polarfuchs1997 But if they were at least on the same mining strength as iron, so you could mine diamonds, emeralds, gold and so on. That would be the only thing that I want.
Netherite upgrade templates and less enchantment glints were both horrible additions to the game in my opinion. Hopefully this will be recognized and changed accordingly
Netherite is really easy to get right this second, now its harder to get God tier equipment. You call making the game more challenging horrible?
@@Goldstandard_1 Maybe not horrible, but annoying? Yes. My main gripe is that the templates would only spawn in bastion remnant chests in the nether. There's only so many bastions that spawn in the nether. Your lucky if you find more than one. I got nothing against making the game more challenging though.
@@kbassi777 Bastions are pretty big, each usually having a decent amount of chests. The rates for the upgrade templates are pretty good, so those who were already dedicated to getting netherite armor would unlikely be deterred by a quick visit to a bastion or two.
I just got a hit of nostalgia when I realized that the books actually were blank(without the shine) from the beginning, they were added later
Thanks for keeping us up to date on the new features! Very entertaining video^^
I think the enchantment glint removal is good for armor. Sad that it got extended to everything else though.
That moving Piglin head is kind of morbid. You're pretty much sending an electrical signal into it and exciting the dead nerves, making it move.
Scrolled forever looking for somebody mentioning this, really dark lmao.
It is a bizarre horror feature. It may not last long.
It's a game. We'll get over it. Like we get over creepers being hit with lightning and then blowing up to decapitate monsters. Like we get over withers that kill anything that's alive. Like we get over being the cause of raids that can result in the death of every innocent soul in a village. Like we get over breeding monsters by the thousand so we can enrich ourselves by cutting off their legs in a tiny box we call a "grinder". We'll get over it.
@@tonyg_nerd I doubt if many players care.
@@jam99 That was kinda my point. 🤣
Fun fact: Instant armor switching was already a thing in MCPE. Long press an armor piece. It also works when ur putting on one.

The netherite upgrage is lame..and i just started playing Minecraft this year..like full dive and then found out about this 1.20 update sounds awesome and im even more excited

Why is it lame
@@The_Soviet_Onion cause im new i started playing late December of last year. and playing in the nether is hard for me right now lol....im hoping a few more months to get good enough where i can get blaze rods..i found the stronghold but i get my ass kicked. And yes its on easy
i agree the netherrite and the enchantment glint are NOT updates im excited about

That's actually quite helpful the painting change at least in creative. Now if you want specific paintings in your build it can work. I've been thinking they should do that though for survival as well
If a mob is captured by a boat and skulk is triggered, signal can be used to notify us of capture. Would also be funny to capture mobs in minecart and use signal to send cart on track ... so a roller coaster full of random mobs.
Bedrock had the armor switching tech for years now
yeah... that is actually a thing that I don't get about Mojang... in every Video about that topic they say, that in a long run, they want Java and Bedrock to basically be the same, which I think is the right thing to do.... yet with every new update, they add more things that are different in both versions...
I personally like netherite upgrade and armor templates. It makes locations like bastions useful. There is nothing to do in bastions right now, completely useless.
The enchantment glint was so satisfying, so I’m sad they’re getting rid of it. 😢
Amazing video! So much good info. I see why you're upset about missing enchant glint, but I also see why they did it. Probably to show off the new trims better without an ugly purple on all the armor.
it seems like it’s customizable too, so if you like the purple you can change it and make it vibrant again. you’re right, i think they just didn’t want to have it overtake the armour trims
Out of all that, the one I am most pissed off about, is the removal of the enchanted look. What the hell are they thinking? Idiots.
fr im so mad
The idea is so that you can see armor trims more easily. But this video is outdated, they already re-added in the old enchantment glint for items while keeping the reduced glint for armor and tools.
imo enchanted look is incredibly ugly
I personally really like that netherite is harder to get, before it took like 15 minutes with some tnt or beds to get full netherite, now it’s actually gonna take time and effort, this also makes people want to explore the nether more than normal
Wow you’re pretty lucky
Bro it takes
Me an hour just to get 8 debris
@@Thatfella_Brayden bro have negative dream luck...
Awesome video dude keep up the amazing work :)
That Netherite trimmed with diamond actually looks dope. Been wanting something different for armor for a while.
The netherite template and enchantment glint just make the game worse imo. I see no benefit to making you pay 7 more diamonds after you already used diamonds to craft the item and on top of that you still have to get the same amount of ancient debris. You're forced to explore the nether once, and then it's back to the strip mines for eternity. They should at the very least be in ancient cities as well
i see no benefit to leave a stack of diamond in the chest and never touch them again after you get full netherite equipment
@@letranky8a109 there's a whole set of armor trim to duplicate for all your armor
I actually like the new netherite upgrade, diamonds were very useless and that give a reason to find more.
Damn, a coherent argument. But still I think it's too much
I love the chisel bookshelves before I was writing diaries in my world and I had nowhere to put them when they finished so they would just stay on the lectern forever. Now I can put the one I'm currently writing on the lectern and the finished ones in the bookshelves. Plus on top of that I've used them to organize all my enchanted books a lot better
I like the new creation screen. It reminds me of the old school alpha and beta screen that had 5 world slots.
This was a pretty bad change with the netherite upgrade also eye we're building a state of you in the shopping district
The player was way too OP with the netherite armor and it made diamonds useless, all I see is Mojang fixing those two problems plus making bastions more worth exploring
@@The_Soviet_Onion firstly amazing name secondly I just feel like that's hurting us for getting used to how netherite worked
@@SosaXSeraphim"getting used to hoe netherite works" that's the thing, we've gotten use to how easy it was to get, this change aims to make it more difficult to obtain, while also making it more rewarding to have.
I wish we could have a chest plate and elytra at the same time! Is reduces your armor strength significantly. There should be a way we can upgrade the chest plate to have holes in the back to equip the elytra with a chest armor.
I mean there should be some kind of downside for having the ability to fly, and giving up your chestplate armor slot makes sense.
The whole point of them not being combined is to balance out such an op item that is the elytra, they just made it as easy as can be with hotbar armour equip, what more do you want, creative mode?
Just refreshed my feed at the perfect time lol
I personally have a love/hate thought process with netherite smithing template like on one hand, you will explore more of your nether or inadvertently encouraging you to explore more and having more fun, but you can easily lose you stuff, and it will probably a serious pain in the donkey to get for the full set.
It does more good than bad, finding a bastion is as hard as finding a regular fortress, it may be hard to get at first, but once you got one you can make more at home
@@yosic.6814 finding the bastion isn’t the problem
Why
That’s all I have to say
Why are they getting rid of the enchantment effect it looks good they better change it so you can chose from the default effect strength and turning it off not completely removing it.
Good news, they already did just that
@@CommanderWiggins oh fr? That’s good.
The new upgrades requires for netherite armour aren't that bad,it just means we will rely more on diamond armour as it is already very strong when fully enchanted and easier to renew if you got villagers.
Still, SEVEN more diamonds for just one smithing template is *ridiculously* expensive when we already need diamond armor to get netherite in the first place. Plus, the smithing template is, in and of itself, a rare resource that's hard to find in the first place. Maybe if it were just 2 or 3 extra diamonds, it'd be more reasonable.
As it is now, that's an absurd cost just to upgrade ONE piece of armor at a time.
@@DLxxx diamond isnt rare, i usually get about like 20 diamond after 30 minute of mining and if you dont like mining, there are still a lot of structure that have diamond
And who say you only get one template and have to rely on diamond to get more template
bookshelf one is really useful can easily make a book sorter system for the raid farm
As someone who wanted to replace the surrounding birch forest and then replace it with dark oak forest, I hate that fire spread change...
I actually like the new Netherite upgrade! It gives bastions more purpose and makes the game a bit more like an RPG since you’re now searching for a specific item to get the op netherite armor!
Yes, but will it generate on other bastions on pre 1.20 worlds? I've been playing on my world since November last year, and I've had good progress, but I definitely don't wanna travel to another bastion and find out I can't get that item unless I create a new world.
@@ChSjRi It definitely won't generate in bastions you've already explored. Although if you've been playing since November you can still easily get Netherite Armor the old way before the new update hits so it shouldn't be a problem?
@Destroyer94100 Oh, I thought we already got the updates. I'm definitely getting some armor with enchantments then. If not, I'll just explore different bastions and hope to find one.
I don't think adding extra steps to getting netherite tools is that bad, diamonds are pretty easy to come by these days so it's good to have more uses for them
Piglin Head will be pure AGONY to get. Luring a Charged Creeper into Nether WITHOUT it killing you? Yeah good luck with that.
...Also, I know what I am going for in terms of decor on my Netherite Armor. Black and Gold, can't go wrong with that.
Yeahhhhh the black and gold looks super good. It's really cool because the silence trim covers like 50% of the whole armor set, and it can make your set look really vibrant! Can't say I'm looking forward to approaching getting the piglin head though.
thanks for letting me know about the netherite thing. I still have some diamond tools so im gonna boot up my old world and do some netherite farming now
In my opinion, these new features like trims or the netherite upgrade seem more like a mod than actual vanilla minecraft.
at least a few people feel this way about every single new update lmao. go back through the last like seven years and there is always people saying they don't feel like the added stuff is vanilla enough. Minecraft literally decides what is vanilla, not us 💀
@@AliceBunny05 To be honest, this is the first update that I consider "non-vanilla-like". I play since 1.11 and everything made sense to me since, but this one doesn't feel quite right in my eyes. It's not that I don't like the features they gonna add to the game.
@@by_James yeah I understand, and I think there comes a time where most minecraft players might feel that way about a new feature, my point is just that it happens every time lol. even if it's not you it's like a thousand other people, and that's consistent with every update that happens. I think it's just because so many people play the game, opinions vary alot and I don't mean it's one group of people thinking every update isn't vanilla enough, who it is shifts every time but the one rule is that there is always that group of people when new features are added, there is always some people who are not satisfied or think they could do it better.
I think the netherite change is well balanced. It gives diamonds a new use in crafting this upgrade thing, makes progression a bit slower. You can either mine the diamonds for the upgrade or explore bastions which are pretty hard, so it will reduce to potential of speedruning for. I have to admit that even today I do not use netherite to often but its probably because I forget it exists, playing 12 years with diamond armor makes it to you
Very true, especially about diamond armor. One set of diamond armor feels like it lasts forever. I made myself a set of netherite armor because I could, but not because I needed it per se.
I find mining for diamonds pretty fun to do anyway so the new addition of a netherite smithing template isnt all that bad to me.
and by the time you want netherite armor, you probably have lots of diamonds anyway.
Kinda liked how the piglin head duped when he flipped the lever
Thank You !
Omg they ALWAYS screw something up 😞
you make the game then :) no matter what they change or leave alone there is always someone who wishes it was different. update season for minecraft is hell because all you see under every post is people complaining.
@@AliceBunny05 a game isn’t hard to make if u love it, it becomes hard when ur making it to please investors
I actually like the new netherite item templet because I felt going from diamond to netherite was to fast, so it makes that part of the game a little slower plus it adds another use to get diamonds as once players get netherite they usually don’t get diamonds again
It also gives players a reason to go to that structure in the nether
I'm 100% sure you were paid by mojang to say this
@@stillwatercamargo9606 Why? Because they aren't lazy? The templates have really good rates in bastion chests. Half of minecraft is about the adventure, so try to enjoy the fact that you have one more extra thing to do. Because if you're anything like me, finding stuff to do in minecraft can be a little hard sometimes.
favorite mc youtube atm. so informative without extra bullshit. love it
You and your channel is awesome. Thanks for the work you do!
I like the new netherite change, makes netherite seem more special and less quick to get vs how it is now
*I'm starting to hate this update*
we should get invisible item frames on bedrock normally in survival by dunking item frames in cauldrons full of invisibility potions fr
An idea for the note blocks with mob heads
If exploring an ancient city, leave a noteblock some ways away from the area you are trying to loot with a mob head on it and a wood button.
Warden comes? Shoot wood button.
The amount of diamonds to get extra netherite smithing tablets is insane imo, should be less or more smithing tablets are made per 7 diamonds.
After you get netherite, it shouldn’t be your goal to get MORE diamonds, that’s the entire point of getting netherite, to no longer need diamonds.
Instant armour switching has been in minecraft for a long time already.
for the enchantment glint you just have to go to accessibilty settings and set the glint speed and glint intensity to 100%
Another thing they’ve added was how you can only put banners on shields in Java edition, but now they’ve switched it from not only Java, but to bedrock as well!
I actually like the netherite trim, because they make diamonds actually useful. I just wish they buffed netherite to make the extra cost worth it
