When I farmed in South Georgia years ago, I had a old farmer tell that the $30 John Deere wrench that I was buying had the exact same germination rate as the $7 K-Mart wrench....he was right too I really enjoy your videos I understand the plans change and smile everytime . POWER LADDER lol Merry Christmas
Thanks for taking the time to bring us along and show what all you do. Hope ya’ll have a merry Christmas!
You really do a great job explaining everything about whatever it is your doing at the time. Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching
I'd like to see a video about the cars your family has stashed around the farm. Especially the deuce. I had a '67 back in my day, so there is a soft spot in my heart for them. I love listening to your dad tell his stories. Reminds me of my grandfather, who was a small time farmer in Brown Co. I really enjoy this channel. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all of you.
Brian, thanks again for these years of entertainment and for sharing your views and hopes for the future. I enjoy both of your channels.
Love the references and the transition about getting snipped! Hope you recover quickly! Thanks for the great videos
nice truck, looks like a lot of well used space
Nice truck bed, beats every thing bouncing around in regular truck bed,I've always had a truck cap designed with tool boxes, could haul everything I needed for construction and still had bed space
I've never been too crazy about a service bed like that but iam pretty impressed with yours!
I would definitely add more strobe lights just to catch the attention of drivers when moving larger equipment it helps I wish I had a truck like that it’s a good looking truck
Definitely one of my favorite channels to watch! I got an 06 duramax and have been wanting to do a flatbed conversion for a while now but could never find a design I like. I love the look of yours Brian
Nice setup on the service bed. You're keeping her in good shape!
You should add door switches to control your compartment lights, Open the door lights come on, Close the door and the lights go off. no dead batteries from leaving the lights on.
Timers and momentary switches
Every once in a while it’s good to do a house cleaning whether it’s a shop, service truck or a tool box. Kinda like taking a shower after cleaning out a grain bin. Keep the ice coming!
I like How organized the truck bed is 😍
hey Brian love the video, I seen my Mundell contracting sticker on the back compartment door, that clear piece can be peeled off it is only there to transport sticker from the backing to what you place it on.
I’ll fix it
Beautiful truck. You can see it raised up and down in the video time lapse as you clean out the boxes. May I suggest a pair of one up Offroad's traction bars and a set of airless airbags. I also have a set of airless airbags on the front of my plow trucks and they make a world of difference. My dad years ago had a bumper that was built and sealed to be a compressor tank.
Good description. I appreciate your way of giving your review on things. You like what works well and gets the jib done efficiently and cost effectively. You're not just stuck on certain brands.
Except GM. I’m pretty partial to GM vehicles.
@@BriansFarmingVideos haha ok. Well suit yourself on that. Guess I wouldn't share the same feelings there but that's no problem. 😃
I absolutely love your vids Brian! I look forward to watching yours more than anyone else's!
Super nice set up. Makes things handy went you break down.
Gotta love the man store lol. Harbor freight tools is all I put in the toolbox for the side x side they will get the job done & if you loose one it doesn’t hurt so bad. Nice bed I didn’t realize it was aluminum that will last a lifetime.
Boy back 50 years ago when I was farming. I'd loved to have a truck like that.
Great looking truck, love the color!!!
Merry Christmas to all your family
A lot of farmers in my area put flat beds on their pickups and mount tool boxes on top but I think your setup is much better.
That is an awesome setup for a work truck. Harbor Freight has some decent stuff that just works and gets the job done. I have a few things from them.
Great video can’t wait to see the new planter
Strobes and warnings will be more and more of a 'need to have' in the future as the roads continue to get more crowded. Merry Christmas to you and your whole family.
Nice truck!! And I’ve never seen ( till yours ) a Hughes body
Thanks for the tour
That is a very nice service body, thanks for showing it
That truck looks great for an 04’. Take that bad boy to the local Walmart and have them buff out those headlights, will be like new when it’s done. Looks like that headache rack would be a great spot for more lights to work at night with
Service trucks always get overlooked because you use them so much. A good service truck or bed is a must have
You know Brian I hesitated a long time before I bought a cab and a half 1500 Chevy. My heavy truck is an F-250 and it's standard cab, but I really like my cabin the half I sell farm seed and it really makes it nice to work out of when I'm calling customers and we also sell cut to order beef here and it makes it nice if we run out of room in the bed to use that back seat and cooler weather at least the whole beef but I have to say it is a challenge keeping it clean I understand where you're coming from.
Nothing wrong with Harbor Freight tools on the farm! I like their socket sets and wrenches! Go ice your jewels 💎!
That utility body is super useful. Been trying to talk the company I work for to get one for one of the field trucks instead of using the "job box in the bed" method. Would be a lot nicer.
Couple nice knifes! I think I will try that service out!
nice looking truck love the way it look
Clean truck makes you happy . I use craftsman tools mainly but no name brands are fine as long as the job gets done
Great truck bed & awesome job organizing it , hope you are back to a 100% shortly
I put Norstar SD bed on my F-350 long bed dually.....I do wish it was aluminum though. I put a 3000 watt pure sine inverter and a 1hp Iron Horse compressor (150 psi) with a 6 gallon tank and a 50ft roll up reel in the passenger side front compartment. And you are right about the dually having more room--I have a lot of room in it! And I called about the great little compressor you have but just too many $$$ for me! Still want a cap too!
Norstar was the first bed I looked at but I was afraid of it rusting
That is a very nice bed and looks like it works great.
I haven't missed a video in 2 years. I seriously want a hat Brian!!!! Haha. Not like I'll stop watching even if I don't get one. Love the content Brian, especially considering I really don't live too far from y'all
My dad bought Cee-Tee pliers from the local coop. He said that were the cheapest brand to plant. Didn't understand till I started buying my own. They were good little pliers though. I still have couple of dad's he fixed by bolting parts from two busted owns together.
Called them about a bed a few weeks ago. Super nice people out there. There prices on aluminum beds where cheaper then some suppliers steel beds!
Yeah they aren’t badly priced for what you get.
Such a good looking bed but they sure cost a lot. I went ahead and bought a used regular service bed and cut it down so I could still pull a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer. Threw a couple 5 drawer craftsman toolboxes in it and it’s been the best thing ever. All said and done with paint and bed liner I think I’m in it for $1000. Always have people complementing it as well.
The intro made me laugh, so great job to both of you for the different style for the last two vids.
Great truck bed looks like it fits for your operation
Great set up. Love the videos. How about a walk around again of Bob's truck setup. Keep up the good work and great videos.
Merry Christmas to the Brown Family and a Happy New Year! Love your videos!
wow i have a few service trucks too when i worked in the trades now we have 2 ton service bodies truck on the farm each crew has it own mechinic to15 crews i have 20 trucks in service too we do go to other farmer to work on other tractors or farm equipment too
The best feature about any brand of tool? Having it in the field when you need it!
Very nice and practical.
Do a walk around of your dads truck sometime. I like the diamond plate.
Would be interesting to see it in depth.
I had no problem working on equipment with kobalt, husky, harbor freight tools! Let the fanboys go in debt over tools, not for the rest of us! Good job getting stuff done after being snipped! Keep up the good work Brian!
Love the service bed
Like the air compressor! Very handy!
Love the toolbox!
I really like the way your truck is laid out
Wonderful job of describing everything you have on your work truck. And it’s really clean! Keep up the great job with your videos. Merry Christmas to you, Kayla and the kids.
I have a 2001 3500 Duramax that is a dually extended cab, 8 ft box. I installed an aluminum flatbed on it that I use for my lawn care business. The engine has all new injectors and the heads and block has been resurfaced as pretty much all 2001’s were. It is plated for 12,000 lbs which I have been over by at least 1000 lb’s, thank goodness for the duals. After having a diesel it would be real hard to go to a gas engine but $7000.00 for a diesel upgrade would be hard to swallow. That is a nice utility box you have Brian, just put a switch in that turns the lights off when you close the door.
Really like their bed design. Glad you survived the trip to Dr. Snippy DaBallsak. Hope your holidays are great. Bob in Pennsylvania
That's a nice bed love it.
Thanks for the tour of your truck!
Thanks for watching
Lots of truck bed companies here in TX but I like to look of your Hughes bed a lot better than all of the squared off or flatbed truck beds.
Good looking bed! Ivers Farms just bought a bed one the trucks similar to that bed.
Can’t wait to see the shop y’all build I know it will be nice
Really like that kind of truck tool box
I’m gonna have to try Bespoke! Love the videos!
Nice truck bed (nice truck too). Looks like a very efficient tool.
Hey Brian love the videos. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas
Sounds like some good quality stuff
Truck looks great! Utility bed is nice.
👍👍
Love the "going to put some ice on my ...."comment as it made me laugh so much! I think all farm trucks look the same inside - mostly clear front seats and a tip zone in the back which has been cement mixered several times looking for stuff whilst using working words. Hope all your family have a great Christmas and an even better New Year
Love your videos. Merry Christmas and Happy New year 🎉
Really nice rig Brian
I wish I could afford to get one of those beds. I do all my own mechanic work and work for a number of other farmers in the area. I have looked into it. Some day.
Darling I did on my work bed was when I put my LED lights in everywhere I put pushbutton switches on the doors so that way when you open the door the lights automatically come on but when you shut the door they automatically turn off never forget them that way
Love The color of that pickup. I gotta sticker to send from my daughters travel softball team . I will try to find the link for the info. Keep the content coming! Great work!
Great videos Brian
Nice setup.
I really like the way you have the truck box set up
I really like this….been to the Louisville Farm Show…must of missed them
I like that truck, those service beds are handy as heck, thanks for sharing 🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪
That is a nice looking service truck bed I definitely like to have that or make one of those for when I have to go out and service trucks on the road
Love ur farming
Merry Christmas to the browns and all the great videos 🍻
sweet rig love the videos, merry christmas to you and all of your family
Sweet utility bed! Needs a POWER LADDER on the tailgate.
Keep the inverter and get some work lights that you can put anywhere with magnets I love the ones harbor freight has
I love watching all of the videos
You have a nice setup with that truckbed. The only thing I might add would be movable work lights that I would mount to the headache rack. That way you can make working in the dark a lot better. I have an F350 Powerstroke dually that I used to haul granite monuments with. I would not recommend a diesel or a dually to anyone that is not hauling a lot of weight, 20,000 pounds or more. The extra cost for the diesel engine along with the extra maintenance cost and with diesel costing more than gasoline it's just not a good investment. If you really don't need a dually you are going to be buying two more tires when the time comes, figure an extra $450 + for good tires.
My first thought also was about the work lights. I was thinking maybe a couple "fixed" but movable, mounted somewhere, but also maybe a couple pre-mounted on collapsible but removable tripods with extendable cords. Our fire department has some mounted on the back of a couple of the fire trucks and they are really handy.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Brian enjoy all your videos thanks for taking us along
Another great quality video!!
Nice service truck.
Man that wires saw works great cutting PVC!
Like that bed for sure, set up to get moving again for sure
Weirdly, driving from Chicago to family on the East Coast of NC, I found myself in Chillicothe today, As you recommended, I didn’t stop by or stake out the farm, but coffee at Tim Hortons brought me a weird connection to you! Cheers, Have a very merry, Thanks for all you share.
Lol next time checkout seven mile smokehouse
That’s a nice truck bed!!!
That's a nice clean shop truck , get you a 2in square tubing and mount a vise to it that slides into the receiver !
Love your videos keep up the good work!!
My dad has a tool truck, my brother has a tool truck and my uncle has a tool truck, most of my tools are from Lowe’s, Home Depot and harbor freight. Only tool truck tools I have are gifts from my dad brother and uncle. Same boat as you. I use my tools to fix my junk and there is a 99.9% chance that tool will go missing before it wears out.
