When I farmed in South Georgia years ago, I had a old farmer tell that the $30 John Deere wrench that I was buying had the exact same germination rate as the $7 K-Mart wrench....he was right too I really enjoy your videos I understand the plans change and smile everytime . POWER LADDER lol Merry Christmas
You should add door switches to control your compartment lights, Open the door lights come on, Close the door and the lights go off. no dead batteries from leaving the lights on.
Darling I did on my work bed was when I put my LED lights in everywhere I put pushbutton switches on the doors so that way when you open the door the lights automatically come on but when you shut the door they automatically turn off never forget them that way
That truck looks great for an 04’. Take that bad boy to the local Walmart and have them buff out those headlights, will be like new when it’s done. Looks like that headache rack would be a great spot for more lights to work at night with
Brian, “customize” , flat wrenches/screw drivers, that hinged door, double walled? hook hanger/ pvc tube/ magnetic backed/bungeed across , then more sockets in drawer
I have a 2001 3500 Duramax that is a dually extended cab, 8 ft box. I installed an aluminum flatbed on it that I use for my lawn care business. The engine has all new injectors and the heads and block has been resurfaced as pretty much all 2001’s were. It is plated for 12,000 lbs which I have been over by at least 1000 lb’s, thank goodness for the duals. After having a diesel it would be real hard to go to a gas engine but $7000.00 for a diesel upgrade would be hard to swallow. That is a nice utility box you have Brian, just put a switch in that turns the lights off when you close the door.
Definitely one of my favorite channels to watch! I got an 06 duramax and have been wanting to do a flatbed conversion for a while now but could never find a design I like. I love the look of yours Brian
If you don't think your channels aren't good let me put it this way I'm a retired roofer and I enjoy your channels so very much thank you James T out of North Carolina
I'd like to see a video about the cars your family has stashed around the farm. Especially the deuce. I had a '67 back in my day, so there is a soft spot in my heart for them. I love listening to your dad tell his stories. Reminds me of my grandfather, who was a small time farmer in Brown Co. I really enjoy this channel. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all of you.
Beautiful truck. You can see it raised up and down in the video time lapse as you clean out the boxes. May I suggest a pair of one up Offroad's traction bars and a set of airless airbags. I also have a set of airless airbags on the front of my plow trucks and they make a world of difference. My dad years ago had a bumper that was built and sealed to be a compressor tank.
You should look into getting a custom bumper made to match your bed. I believe there is a Amish family in west union Ohio that fabricates aluminum beds and tool boxes and such I'm sure they would make a bumper get it paint matched to your truck that would look great
You need a switch like car door switch. Comes on when you oen bed door nd goes off when closed. Still have a manual switch in case you don't want it on.
Good description. I appreciate your way of giving your review on things. You like what works well and gets the jib done efficiently and cost effectively. You're not just stuck on certain brands.
Cole the Cornstar was twitching when this came out because of that drawer situation you had going on......lol. Really enjoy the content. YOu guys are my 5 year old sons favorite because of Gleaner. Keep up the great work.
I'm just making a comment because I really love your videos and I really love to get a gift from y'all y'all have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year
Weirdly, driving from Chicago to family on the East Coast of NC, I found myself in Chillicothe today, As you recommended, I didn’t stop by or stake out the farm, but coffee at Tim Hortons brought me a weird connection to you! Cheers, Have a very merry, Thanks for all you share.
hey Brian love the video, I seen my Mundell contracting sticker on the back compartment door, that clear piece can be peeled off it is only there to transport sticker from the backing to what you place it on.
Such a good looking bed but they sure cost a lot. I went ahead and bought a used regular service bed and cut it down so I could still pull a gooseneck or fifth wheel trailer. Threw a couple 5 drawer craftsman toolboxes in it and it’s been the best thing ever. All said and done with paint and bed liner I think I’m in it for $1000. Always have people complementing it as well.
Gotta love the man store lol. Harbor freight tools is all I put in the toolbox for the side x side they will get the job done & if you loose one it doesn’t hurt so bad. Nice bed I didn’t realize it was aluminum that will last a lifetime.
Brian if u spec another one with an inverter I’m sure u should b wired up so that it comes on and off when u turn the key. U could probably even rewire the one u have to do that?
Since we are living on a poststamp called the netherlands we are almost everywhere close to home or a dealership so there are not much farmers whit a service truck, anyways thanks for the video greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
That utility body is super useful. Been trying to talk the company I work for to get one for one of the field trucks instead of using the "job box in the bed" method. Would be a lot nicer.
I haven't missed a video in 2 years. I seriously want a hat Brian!!!! Haha. Not like I'll stop watching even if I don't get one. Love the content Brian, especially considering I really don't live too far from y'all
You know Brian I hesitated a long time before I bought a cab and a half 1500 Chevy. My heavy truck is an F-250 and it's standard cab, but I really like my cabin the half I sell farm seed and it really makes it nice to work out of when I'm calling customers and we also sell cut to order beef here and it makes it nice if we run out of room in the bed to use that back seat and cooler weather at least the whole beef but I have to say it is a challenge keeping it clean I understand where you're coming from.
Nice truck bed, beats every thing bouncing around in regular truck bed,I've always had a truck cap designed with tool boxes, could haul everything I needed for construction and still had bed space
Every once in a while it’s good to do a house cleaning whether it’s a shop, service truck or a tool box. Kinda like taking a shower after cleaning out a grain bin. Keep the ice coming!
You got to get the extendable ratchets from harbor freight. I can stand on mine and jump on it at full extention and it holds up great and I'm not a small guy haha
When I farmed in South Georgia years ago, I had a old farmer tell that the $30 John Deere wrench that I was buying had the exact same germination rate as the $7 K-Mart wrench....he was right too I really enjoy your videos I understand the plans change and smile everytime . You really do a great job explaining everything about whatever it is your doing at the time. Keep up the good work
Thanks for watching

Timers and momentary switches
Called them about a bed a few weeks ago. Super nice people out there. There prices on aluminum beds where cheaper then some suppliers steel beds!
Yeah they aren’t badly priced for what you get.
Plus a flashlight typically has to be held. That can be a pain.
Darling I did on my work bed was when I put my LED lights in everywhere I put pushbutton switches on the doors so that way when you open the door the lights automatically come on but when you shut the door they automatically turn off never forget them that way

Clean truck makes you happy . I use craftsman tools mainly but no name brands are fine as long as the job gets done
Service trucks always get overlooked because you use them so much. A good service truck or bed is a must have
Thanks for taking the time to bring us along and show what all you do. Hope ya’ll have a merry Christmas!
That's a nice clean shop truck , get you a 2in square tubing and mount a vise to it that slides into the receiver !
Brian, “customize” , flat wrenches/screw drivers, that hinged door, double walled? hook hanger/ pvc tube/ magnetic backed/bungeed across , then more sockets in drawer
Brian, thanks again for these years of entertainment and for sharing your views and hopes for the future. I enjoy both of your channels.

I see the Thomas Farms decal on the door. Thanks Brian.
Be curious to see a similar rundown on your new black truck when/if time permits. Thanks as always for sharing.

Except GM. I’m pretty partial to GM vehicles.
@@BriansFarmingVideos haha ok. Well suit yourself on that. Guess I wouldn't share the same feelings there but that's no problem. 😃

Sweet utility bed! Needs a POWER LADDER on the tailgate.
I have to say. I am a die hard Ford guy. Yet I do like your truck bed for sure.
I've never been too crazy about a service bed like that but iam pretty impressed with yours!
Keep the inverter and get some work lights that you can put anywhere with magnets I love the ones harbor freight has
Great service truck Brian
I really like the way you have the truck box set up
A lot of farmers in my area put flat beds on their pickups and mount tool boxes on top but I think your setup is much better.
Beautiful truck
I'm just making a comment because I really love your videos and I really love to get a gift from y'all y'all have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year
Nice truck! Bed looks good
Hope you done good
Nice utility bed
Very nice and practical.
Do a walk around of your dads truck sometime. I like the diamond plate.
Would be interesting to see it in depth.

Like the air compressor! Very handy!
I absolutely love your vids Brian! I look forward to watching yours more than anyone else's!
Very organized Brian.
Nice setup on the service bed. You're keeping her in good shape!
hey Brian love the video, I seen my Mundell contracting sticker on the back compartment door, that clear piece can be peeled off it is only there to transport sticker from the backing to what you place it on.
I’ll fix it
Nothing wrong with Harbor Freight tools on the farm! I like their socket sets and wrenches! Go ice your jewels 💎!
That is an awesome setup for a work truck. Harbor Freight has some decent stuff that just works and gets the job done. I have a few things from them.

nice truck box!
I really like hats!
Thanks for all the Videos. Have a Merry Christmas!
That is a very nice bed and looks like it works great.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you guys have a safe & healthy New Year.
The best setup I have seen was on an oil rig truck. Those guys really use those trucks.
Happy Holidays everyone.
Great tour of your truck.
I really like the way your truck is laid out
Nice service truck
here to help
What a truck that is.
Great job!
Hi from Northeast South Dakota
That is a nice looking service truck bed I definitely like to have that or make one of those for when I have to go out and service trucks on the road
Hi Brian great video . Really nice well laid out truck
Now I would love a video on that gorgeous classic car in the background!!
Go back on the channel a couple years ago
That utility body is super useful. Been trying to talk the company I work for to get one for one of the field trucks instead of using the "job box in the bed" method. Would be a lot nicer.
I've broken both Kobalt and Craftsman 1/2 inch breaker bars but hydraulic floor jack might have been involved
That bed looks good on your truck
nice truck, looks like a lot of well used space
Nice truck bed👍🏻
Hope you feel better today!
I haven't missed a video in 2 years. I seriously want a hat Brian!!!! Haha. Not like I'll stop watching even if I don't get one. Love the content Brian, especially considering I really don't live too far from y'all
Love the show. Watching 👀 from Florida
Great truck bed looks like it fits for your operation
Merry Christmas Brown Family!!
Love the references and the transition about getting snipped! Hope you recover quickly! Thanks for the great videos
The best feature about any brand of tool? Having it in the field when you need it!
You know Brian I hesitated a long time before I bought a cab and a half 1500 Chevy. Awesome video, I really like the pickup service box
Nice box on your truck! I need one. Enjoy the channel!
Merry Christmas to all! Remember the reason for the season!
Every once in a while it’s good to do a house cleaning whether it’s a shop, service truck or a tool box. Kinda like taking a shower after cleaning out a grain bin. Keep the ice coming!
Merry Christmas.!! God bless Dad n I luv Uall
