Please do a full video like this for the 2023 UX 250h 😊
Hi Cody, I definitely have the 2023 UX on my to-do list! I'm sorry it takes me a long time to do these. I make them during my spare time between my regular job responsibilities. They are so popular now, I'm just blown away! I'll keep working on it though! Thanks so much for tuning in with me! The RX will be next then the UX. Thanks for hanging in there. If you want to know more about the new multi media system, please check out Part 2 of my NX Deep Dive tutorial: ruclips.net/video/IhtcuP-9c1g/видео.html It has a lot of information that will help you in the meantime. :)
Most useful video ever! Just bought a 2019 ux and this cleared so many things up.
Congratulations on your 2019 UX! I'm so glad to help! Thanks for tuning in with me!
Just picked up an L/Certified 2021 UX today and the first thing we did when we got it home was sit down and watch this video. There is so much tech in the car and this helped a ton for figuring out how to use it all.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad it was helpful for you. Congrats on your new UX and Happy New Year!!!
Just got mine last week. Better than reading all the manuals. It was too difficult to take in all that was said during vehicle delivery. Thank you so much.
So glad it helped you learn all about your new UX! Congratulations!
Thanks for the video. Look forward to the updated 2023 version covering the new info system. All the best.
Thanks so much Fred in the Shed! I have a small amount of footage on the new UX that I was able to get before the car was sold, literally while I was filming in it LOL! As soon as we have one that comes in that I am allowed to film in, I will get the footage finished and start the edits. Thanks for you patience! So glad you're here!
Please do another video for 2023 Lexus UX, that's awesome!
Hi! Thanks so much. I'm in the process of editing the 2023 UX Deep Dive during any spare moment I can get. I hope to have it finished in the next few weeks or so. Thanks for staying tuned!
Very indepth thanks - I was baffled by the controls! 48:15 was especially useful - I never would have realised that.
Thanks so much, Daniel! Happy to help! Congratulations on your UX!
Super helpful! I’m looking forward to a test drive and now I’m already familiar with the car. This was a very well done video.
Thanks so much for tuning in, @Bonasita2 ! I'm so glad it was helpful for you. Enjoy your test drive!
Absolutely terrific! Thanks very much. There were many tips in your video that I could not find in the owners manual. 😊
I'm so glad it was helpful for you. Thanks for being here!
My wife has a 2023 UX and this while for the previous model helps a lot until you release the 2023 Tutorial, fantastic ... My NX arrives in 3 weeks so I'll be studying before I pick up Thank You so much for these videos. The dealer will go thru everything but I think people are all caught up in the new car feeling, so these tuts help.
Congratulations to your wife on her new 2023 UX! Please let her know I was able to finish the deep dive yesterday and it is now live on the channel: ruclips.net/video/WtW9nNih9Ug/видео.html. Enjoy and thanks so much for being here!
Thank you so much for your detailed tutorial. Helped tremendously when setting up my new UX 250h. This beats reading the manuals!
Great to hear! Thanks so much for tuning in with us to learn about your new UX 250h! Such a great vehicle! Congrats!
I got mine 1 month ago! Thank you so much for this great video and your voice is so sweet!💕
Congratulations! Thank you so much for your sweet note! I'm so glad you like the channel and that I can help you enjoy your Lexus even more :)
This was amazing, so helpful even 2 years after it's release!
Thanks so much! I'm not sure which year UX you have, but I am working on the Deep Dive for the 23 UX now and hope to have it finished in a month or so depending on my schedule. I work on the videos in my spare time so sometimes it takes a bit longer that I would hope, but I am always chipping away at them. Thanks very much for tuning in with me!
@@NorthsideLexus I actually am purchasing a 2021 ux250h as we speak
In large reason due to your tutorial! Greatly appreciate it
@@i.cortez7608 That's awesome! Congrats on your 21 UX250h! 🥳
Fantastic. 11 minutes in and I've learned so much. Thank you. Super thorough.

Thank you so much for making this video - I have learned so much!
You've made my day! Thanks so much for tuning in to learn with me!
Thank you for this informational video. I’m looking at this car. Wish me luck I hope I can get it this weekend.
That's awesome, Esme! My fingers are crossed for you! I'm so glad the video was helpful. Stay tuned for the Tech Tip Tuesday short segments to keep learning more when you get it :) So happy to have you here!
Just bought mine THANK YOU so much for this! 😍
Yay! Congratulations! Happy to help :)
I just bought one and still waiting the delivery. Thanks a lot for this tutorial ;)
Hope you enjoy it! Thanks very much for tuning in with me to learn about your new UX! Is it a 2022 or 2023? I am in the process of filming and editing the tutorial for the 2023. I hope to have it out early November.
@@NorthsideLexus It's a 2021 (october) with 20000km. I saw you got a electric front seat. I didn't notice that on the UX in france. Maybe I missed it.
This video is great! Comprehensive and informative. Just got mine not long ago. Cheers!
Congratulations on your new UX! Very glad to help you enjoy your Lexus even more!
To listen the tutorial is very benefit to me. We can repeat this tutorial again if we don’t finish it.
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. There is also a timestamped index in the video description that can help you jump to different sections of the video when you want to learn a new item or review something later. Hope this helps!
got a 2022 base hybird ux coming in a few days and I appreciate this video
Thanks so much! Congratulations on your UX hybrid! Thanks very much for tuning in to learn all about it!
Can’t wait to get mine! Thanks for a great video ✨
So glad you enjoyed the video! Congrats on your new UX!
Thanks for a great video. I'm from South Africa and have a 2021 hybrid. Is there a quick way of turning off the air conditioning without turning off the fan? I've only been able to do it by using the trackpad, which is a bit cumbersome and not ideal especially while driving.
Hi Carol, If you have the 10.3" larger main screen, you can open the Climate screen on the right side split view and there is a shortcut for the AC on/off. If you have the standard display, the AC compressor on/off is only available from the additional menu within the Climate screen and that does require you to open the climate screen, then press the sub menu button (the double chevron button below the track pad) then use the track pad to select AC on or off. I would not recommend doing all of that while you drive. Better to be safe and wait until you can be at a stop. Thanks so much for checking in.
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks so much for your reply. Much appreciated.
This video was very helpful. It helped me discover capabilities of the car. Thanks!
Thanks so much, Abel! I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks for tuning in!
How to change tyre pressure from BAR to Psi?
How to turn off automatic headlights as they come on too early even at -2 setting.
The lower tool tray comes out easily to reveal the wheel well which in the hybrid is half full of stuff so you cant put a spare wheel in it.
Why USB A in front and USB C in back?
Hi! The tire pressure measurement can only be adjusted if the selection is available. This is not customizable on all vehicles and is normally set by the factory based on the country or region the car is built to be sold in. Please see the timestamped links for the video sections that should help with your other questions: (You can find linked topics in the Index in the video description).

Thanks so much for tuning in.
In the UK we dont use BAR. Psi does not appear to be an option in units.
In the UK we dont get RunFlats. They are Turanza T005's.
Seem to be stuck with headlights coming on too soon.
Excellent and easy info. It’s really helped me to understand the process to use. Thanks again
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Thanks very much for being here!
Thank you so much!!! I learned a lot and my new car.
I'm so glad to hear it! Thanks so much for tuning in!
Thank you so much for your help, watched about a dozen videos on this Lexus 250h and yours was definitely the best! Learned a lot! Pick mine up tomorrow morning here in Toronto! WOO WHOO!!! :)

@@NorthsideLexus Thanks!
You got me again...wow, a lot of details to absorb and I still don't have a Lexus but still watched the whole video. The UX is so nice.
You are so sweet! Thanks so much for watching more of my videos! I'm so glad you enjoy them. Maybe there is a Lexus in your future? The UX is an awesome vehicle and so well priced for a luxury car. Glad you're here and I appreciate your kind comments so much!
Super Helpful! Waiting for the car to arrive - now I can't wait to set everything up!
So awesome! Congrats on the UX! Let me know if you have any questions when you get it!
You have done a very thorough job… thank you 👍.
Thanks so much for being here!
Sooo good well done ,you helped me make my mind up thanks x
I'm so glad! That's awesome to hear! Thanks for tuning in!
Thank you for this comprehensive, clear, pedagogic tutorial. This video helped me in my choice... i'll get my UX next week😊 and thanks to the good looking speaker😉 merci beaucoup
So sweet! :) Glad I could help with your selection. The UX is an awesome vehicle. I hope you will love it! Thanks for tuning in!
Great video! We're looking around right now, and I took a look at the UX250h at my local dealer. I was impressed, although I didn't drive it. I have to get my wife to do that, as we're shopping for her.
That's awesome! I hope she loves it! The UX is a very nimble vehicle, easy to park, great turning radius, nice cargo room and lots of good technology on board. Plus the sporty style and sporty yet comfortable drive feel are a lot of fun. Happy shopping :)
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks! I think she'll like it. It's coming down to either this or the Venza right now. She's tired of her current car's 19mpg, so we're going with a hybrid this time.
@@davidmulligan42 I know what you mean. My husband has a really long commute for work so we went with the Prius for him. It isn't as comfortable as my NX, but he gets MUCH better fuel economy. I would recommend driving them both the same day if you can. And make little notes about what she likes and what she doesn't. New cars are always fun and the two you are looking at are both really good, very reliable, etc. So find the one that feels best for the day to day driving that she does. Find out if there are any extra services that come with one compared to the other. That's always good to consider.
I'm not sure what things are like where you are, but inventory is pretty low all across the country for all manufactures. So make sure you really look at the window sticker to be clear about the package you are buying. It is easy to assume some features are standard and they may not be. You want to be clear about what you get. Even if you have to wait a bit to get the right package for you.
@@NorthsideLexus Yes, I narrowed it down to the UX250h with Premium Package or the Venza XLE with the Softex Package. The prices are similar, so it depends what she likes. There are a lot more UXs around than Venzas (for now), but we can wait a few months. Maybe December to Remember deals will come along :)
I have a 2011 LS460 with only 68k miles, and I love it. Lexus/Toyota make great cars.
1 hour video of Lexus UX? This is precious..
Hope that means you found the tutorial helpful? There is a time stamped index in the video description if that helps to manage how crazy long the video is ;-P Thanks very much for tuning in!
This is an excellent tutorial video! So helpful ! So detailed and so easy to understand ! This is wayyyyyy more efficient than learning from the manuals. Thank you and hope all cars can do a tutorial like this ! It saves so much time !
Thanks so much, Gene for you kind support! So glad to have you tuning in with us!
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you for spending time making this and even the index !!
I just picked up the brand new 2022 year UX200H in Taiwan. This is how far this video has reached .... BTW this car is fantastic !!!! so glad we went for the hybrid !!!!
@@uk121 That's awesome, Gene! Congratulations on your new UX200h !! I'm so glad the video is going to help you make the most of your amazing new vehicle! Thanks so much for your very thoughtful note :)

Thanks so much. Happy to help! Congratulations on your new Lexus!
Looking to get this car soon. But I would like an idea of maintenance charge for this car. Like approximately how much would it cost to do an oil change, brake pads and tires etc ? Thank you 😊 great video!
Thanks so much for tuning in. Great question. There are a lot of things to consider, and I will apologize in advance for not having a straight cut and dry answer for you. In the US, Lexus headquarters covers the 5K and 10K services. Some dealerships offer prepaid maintenance programs, our dealership comps the 15K, 20K and 25K when anyone purchases or leases a new Lexus with us. Also keep in mind, that the tires are usually rotated with every service since you will only service every 5,000 miles or 6 months, which ever comes first. The best thing to do is call the Service Department for your local Lexus dealer and ask what they charge for a 20K and 30K service. 20K is not as comprehensive, but it does include an oil change. The 30K has a lot involved and can be more costly. Getting an answer from the department that will be providing the maintenance is the best way to get an accurate answer. Hope this gets you pointed in the right direction. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the video! Do the review mirrors on passenger and driver side fold in by chance on the 2021 F sport? Would love a tutorial if so!
Unfortunately not all models have auto-folding outside mirrors. If you don't see the "Auto" selection by the mirror controls, then the mirrors will need to be manually folded in. Thanks very much for checking in with me!
Awesome informative and easy to understand video! Thank you gorgeous💖
Aww! Thanks so much, Monica! So glad to help! Thank you for tuning in!
I have just got my new 2021 UX250H Luxury Sports + EP. Do you have a tutorial on the HUD on what the symbols displayed mean, in particular the lane symbols.
Hi Dennis, Sorry I don't a HUD video yet. I'm happy to help explain the symbols for you. Can you let me know what you are seeing that you need help with?
@@NorthsideLexus The lane assist symbols are 1) white outlined lane indicator, 2) solid white lane indicator, 3) solid white lane indicator with blue shaded area outside of it. 4) orange/yellow lane indicator (I know what this one is).
@@dennismacdonald49 Thanks so much. Here you go:
1) white outlined lane indicator: Lanes are not currently detected.
2) solid white lane indicator: Lane markers are indicated, but your car is within the lane.
3) solid white lane indicator with blue shaded area outside of it: Your car is approaching the lane, but you have not yet crossed.
As you noted, the one that lights up orange means you are very close or are crossing the lane without your blinker on.
I tried pulling the online version of your Owner's Manual to see if I could find any more details for you, but the online Owner's Manual website is undergoing maintenance right now. I hope this helps in the mean time.
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks very much.
I'm a UX owner based in Europe with a question / request: would you like to consider a folding cargo area cover for the second luggage layer. It is now a large shelf. My other European CT200h has a divisible luggage layer cover. This makes it easier to temporarily fold this shelf away when needed. It is now a quite large piece of solid cover.
So it can be an optional accessorie to obtain this when needed...
Very cool @Peter_V. Our store can only sell OEM parts and accessories, but what you're describing sounds like a great idea! Thanks for tuning in!
Hello from England. I have really enjoyed watching your tutorial. I have one question - does the 2021 ux250h have speed limiter?
Thanks so much for tuning in! From what I've researched here in the US, all of the models have some sort of rev limiter on them. The thresholds are different model to model and it doesn't seem to be something owners or even technicians in the shop can access to customize. I'm not sure if it is different in other countries. Are you experiencing a fluttering feel under your foot on the accelerator if you hit that top speed? They don't seem to include that speed in the Owner's Manual, unfortunately or I would find it for you. Hope this help some. Thanks again for being here!
@@NorthsideLexus thank you so much for taking the time to reply. It’s not so much the revs of the engine but capping the speed of the vehicle. I live in rural England and don’t have the need for cruise control but a speed limiter is of great use. I don’t think this function is present in my vehicle and I think I will just have to get used to the visual warning given in the UX’s display screen. It’s a learning curve for me for sure!
THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO
You bet! Thank you for watching! I'm so glad you liked it!
Is this for 2023 lexus ux hybrid or only for 2022?
Hi Ricardo, I'm working on a video for the 2023 UX that has been refreshed and now has the new Lexus Interface system. Some of the buttons, bells and whistles will carry over from the 2022 model year, but a lot has changed. I hope to be able to finish filming it soon and get it edited. The biggest challenge is that all of the UXs we have coming in are already sold so I don't get to be in them before the new owner comes to pick them up. My video release plans right now are: 2023 ES, 2023 RX, 2023/2023 LX, 2023 UX. Cross your fingers for me :) Thanks very much for being here.
Thanks for a great video. How do i turn off the volume of the integrated GPS
. I just can turn it down to 1 .
Hi Tommy, You can mute the NAV voice right on the map screen. Get your destination started then click on the speaker icon on the left hand side of the map to mute the audio. You can also turn the voice volume down in settings:ruclips.net/video/ITHTEgys2K8/видео.html Thanks so much for checking in!
@@NorthsideLexus thanks for answers. But I can only reduce the volume to 1, not reduce it to zero. I don't wont any voice at all.
@@tommycrona5562 Can you confirm what NAV you are using? Lexus NAV or a navigation app? Also, what year is your UX. You should have a mute icon right on the Lexus NAV screen. Let me know. I'm happy to try to help.
I have a Lexus Nav. I have s UX 250 H 2021. There is a icon on the left side. But the volume goes only down to 1, not off.
I think it`s 2020 made in dec. 2020. Every where there is volume dots from 1 to 7. No 1 is rather high volume. In all cars i have had its possible to turn the volume off.
Is there a code list of the car equipment. In my Mercedes you can see in the glove box a sticker, with choosen option codes.
After starting the hybrid car in e-Mode and driving purely in e-Mode, you can see the petrol engine temperature going up. How does the temperature of the combustion engine go up, while the combustion engine is not running?
Keep in mind that the EV Mode is not designed for regular driving. It was intended for use in parking structures and entering and exiting low speed residential neighborhoods. It is more about noise and emissions reduction. It will also tell you when it is not available and the gas engine will need to turn on to support the demands on the system. Hope this helps.
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you for your reply! But my question was, will the combustion engine kick, in with its water coolant being still cold? Or will the combustion engine kick in only, when its coolat is warm, meaning when the combustion engine temperature is warm.
@@HappyAlexandros ahh I see. I think a Technician would be better qualified to answer your question. I am not trained on the mechanics of the hybrid system at the level . My training is all on how to use the features and technology in the vehicle. Sorry I'm not able to help. Thanks for tuning in.
Great review, but could you explain how shift changes to S + - mode work using the gear lever as my UX doesn't have paddles, as I am wary of moving the gearstick whilst the car is in motion
Hi E B, No worries. The S+ is a Drive Mode and you can keep the transmission in regular Drive or Manual Drive to operate the different Drive Modes. If you want to change gears manually on the gear box, you need to move the shifter into "M" for manual. (If you also happen to have turned the Drive Mode Selector to S+ you will have the sportiest drive feel). Then to changes gears while you are in "M," push the gear shifter forward to upshift (you should see a + sign) and pull the shifter back to down shift ( you should see a - sign). it is a very smooth and easy movement and you'll feel the gears change as you do it. If you aren't used to driving a manual transmission, then I would operate the car in "D" for automatic transmission and then select S+ for the drive mode and have a fun and easy drive. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for watching!
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks, looks like a good topic for a Tech Tuesday video
@@eb7436 Awesome idea! I'll add that to my video suggestions list. Thanks so much!
For voice command, you need to set the language first? Or is voice command only in english? Marc
Hi Marco, The selected language is how the system will listen and reply. If you want to switch to Spanish or French, you will then be able to speak to the system in Spanish or French, depending on what you choose. While English is selected, the system will be listening for and replying with English commands. Hope this helps :)

Hi this is an excellent video thank u ❤ i wanna ask if the g link from a lexus car we bought it from japan can work in Europe. Is there any way for that?

So to just use the FAN - not Air Conditioning, just use the Fan button? It seems like my AC is always on and I don't find it easy to get rid of it. Am I making it too complicated?
Hi! You actually have to turn the AC Compressor off. Here's how:
- From the Climate Screen: Look for AC light up in Green. If it's green it then the compressor is on and conditioning the air.
- Open the additional Settings Menu (Either the three dots on the menu bar on the left side of the screen called "Options" or with the "Double chevron" button down by your Touch Pad).
- Then Highlight AC and click down with the Touch Pad to deselect and turn it off.

Isn’t the hybrid battery under the back seat, while the rear electric motor is between the rear wheels?
Hi PKKC, the hybrid battery location varies by model. On the UX it is under the back seats. You will notice some additional vents on the lower sides of the seat housing. Models with AWD have a rear mounted motor/generator to power the rear wheels for additional traction. FWD models do not have a rear mounted motor/generator. All of our hybrids have two motor/generators built into the electronically controlled continuously variable transmission housing. They are frequently referred to as "the motor/generator" so it seems like there is only one, but as you explore the Owners Manual you will see mentions of MG1 & MG2 those are the primary motor/generators for the hybrid system. I hope this helps. The one for AWD is called MG-R (rear). Thanks so much for tuning in.
Thank you for the video. I'd like to remove emergency braking from my UX200 as it unpleasant to park in the garage. Can you help?
Hi Jacob, You can turn off the Automatic feature for the Emergency Parking Brake. This is the section of the video that talks about the Electronic Emergency/Parking Brake. 37:55 Parking Brake Thanks for tuning in. I hope this is what you need to help with parking in your garage.
how do you program a garage door opener
Hi Lori, The steps are the same for all HomeLink units in the vehicle, but the Learn button may be located in different places on your garage door motor. ruclips.net/video/qSe_Yhez-ro/видео.html Here is one of the videos from the HomeLink channel. Hopefully this will work for you. If not, let me know and I'll see if I can find another resource for you. I also have an older video that might help: ruclips.net/video/sB6RUZnKVRw/видео.html Thanks for tuning in. :)
A WARNING about the PKSB, Parking Support Braking System: I live in Barcelona and like every large European city it has tons of bike lanes. Many of these lane have plastic/rubber bollards to help drivers and cyclists see the beginnings and ends of the bike lanes. If I am stopped at a light and a bollard is next to my front right or left bumper...even if the bollard is thin and only 60cm high...my car will sometimes screech to a halt when I try to drive forward when the light turns green. It's great for the narrow parking structure in my building...but I have to shut it off as soon as I leave the garage or I risk an unnecessary automatic braking and getting hit from behind.
Very interesting about how the bike lanes are setup in Barcelona and how that interacts with the PKSB system. Thanks so much for sharing with us. So glad you're here.
Wish there's also how to connect the garage door
Hi Alma. The best resource for garage pairing is the HomeLink website. Then you can input your garage motor information and get the correct steps for your unit. I do have two older garage pairing videos on the channel, but I find that HomeLink (the maker of the unit) does a great job of keeping up to date content for all of the different types of garage door motors. Hope this helps.
How do you turn on the headlight washers on the Lexus ux?
Hi Nicholas, The Headlight Cleaners are linked to the headlights being on or on in auto mode and the windshield washer operation. Here's a summary from the Owner's Manual:
Vehicles with headlight cleaners: With the car on and the headlights on, if the lever is pulled to spray the front windshield, the headlight cleaners will operate once. After this, the headlight cleaners will operate every 5th time the lever is pulled. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in!

I enabled Lexus remote on my iPhone now there’s a red light that stays on when all power is off. Blinks when car is in garage. Will this use up electrical power on the battery? I think it’s sensing doors locked or unlocked in middle console area.
Hi Kathy, Thanks for checking in. The light you are describing is part of the Theft Deterrent System on your Lexus. When you lock the doors it is activated. It is not linked to the Lexus remote starter app so if you don't continue that service you will still have the Theft Deterrent System on the vehicle. Hi Timothy! The 2021 LS500 full tutorial video is in the works! I am actually just waiting for one to come in with the optional digital rearview mirror so I can include that information in the video. Hi. Can I remote start the car with only the key fob without the need to subscribe to the Enform services/app? Thanks!
Hi! The DCM connection is required for the Key fob to remote start the car. So even if all you have is Service Connect, which is free for 10 years on the 2021 models, that should be enough of a connection for it to work. You might need to set up the Lexus app account to confirm the terms and conditions, but you would not need to subscribe until your final trial period came to an end. Hope this helps!
Is there another sound other than just the beeps for the alarm sound?
Hi! That is not a setting that is available in the vehicle and I do not see it listed as a customized setting. The next step would be to have your Lexus service department as a Technician to check TechStream to see if there are any additional settings that I don't have access to on my side. Thanks so much for tuning in.
I have this vehicle. Just got it last Sunday. So I tried to connect to Safety Connect. And the voice that comes on in loud. I’m not sure how to lower the volume on it.
It’s having a connection error too. So how do I go about lowering the volume? I’m guessing it’s also the navigation volume?
I tried the voice button under setting and lowered it. But it’s still loud.
Hi Sandy. Congratulations on your UX! Sorry to hear about the volume. There are a few things to check:
1. Make sure you have created your account in the Lexus app and given permission for services. Accepted the terms, etc.
2. On the car go to Menu - Setup - Voice and chose volume 2 for the level.
3. On the car go to the Radio Screen - Sound Settings and make sure the speaker selection is not all the way to the front. (Don't push it all the way to the back though, because the SOS operator sound comes through the front speakers and then you will not be able to hear them at all. I don't want you to have the opposite issue.)
4. Press SOS, get an operator on the line, tell them that their transmit volume is too loud and ask them to turn it down.
Hope this helps. Enjoy your new UX!
How does the hotspot work on the 2022 UXh work?

How do I get the station banners to show on my xm radio and not just the xm radio sign?
Hi @henny That is a speed sensitive function and is unfortunately not customizable. When the vehicle starts to move the station banners fade out and the SXM place holder image come up. They started doing that a few years ago. I'm with you. I would rather see the banner. Sorry I don't have a setting for you on this one. Thanks so much for tuning in.
@@NorthsideLexus Thanks for the information. I cant even get the banner on my 2019 350
@@hennydkincer yeah, it started with the Gen 10 systems, your 2019 350 is a Gen 10 unit. It is frustrating, since they replace a picture with a picture and don't just fad out the art when the car starts to move. That's the feedback I've given them, but I'm not sure how far it got. The new 2022 NX will be Gen 12. Let's see what changes they have in store for us with that version.
Has anyone ever tried to put 19" wheels and tires on this car and did it work? Thank you!
My car is NX300h 2021 version, but the map is old. How can I update the map ?
Hi Jeffery, The 21 vehicles come with the latest hard-data map version and in many places, a cloud based connection for Dynamic Navigation that searches for updates as you drive. The could system overlays the new information, but does not permanently store it. If you have Dynamic Navigation in your area, make sure you have your Lexus Enform account setup correctly and that you see a cloud icon on the map when you search for a destination. Then you know you are getting the most up to date information available through the map data provider. Dynamic Navigation comes with a three year trial period and you can do a software up date once you are 90 days from the expiration. It will update the hard data and give you two more years of cloud connection. If you need more help with your account, make sure to reach out to Lexus customer service. Hope this helps.
How to activate Wirless charging in Lexus Ux200 ?
Hi @Ashwin. If you have a Qi wireless charger installed in your UX you will see a power button on the charging tray. The vehicle must be turned on. Press the button and it will light up. Place your device on the charger and it will show a green light when it is fully charged and a yellow/orange light when it is lower charge, but charging. The wireless charger is installed at the factory and can not be retrofit. Hope this helps.
Question for my 2021 UX. When trying to use the music app on Apple Car Play, it only shows "Most recently played" playlists (that doesn't update) and won't allow me to choose a song on any of them. Is that a setting I can change? All it does is makes me take my phone out to choose a song, which is way more dangerous.
My dad's Buick Regal Tour X has it so that I can navigate it all with the steering wheel and the playlists/songs appear in the info screen on the gauge cluster.
Hi Alain, the Home screen for Apple CarPlay will just show what is currently playing, but when you open any music app that is compatible with Apple CarPlay you should have the full functionality of the app with their search functions, a music library, etc. You should also have voice command functionality with Siri, by pushing and holding the Voice Command button on the steering wheel, if they have locked out on screen controls. I have not seen this linked to the driving safety features, but you should check your phone for the latest iOS update, update each of your music apps and do a soft reset on your phone. The Apple CarPlay settings are all from the phone and not the car, so if you continue to have trouble with it, make sure to reach out to Apple for additional support. Thanks for tuning in with us!
What is the kicking doesn’t work?
Hi! If your UX is equipped with the optional Kick Sensor and it isn't activating, make sure it is turned on in the settings, make sure you have your smart key with you, and then kick forward and back and then step back a bit to allow room for the door to open. If you continue to have trouble with it, make sure to visit your Lexus dealer for more support. Thanks very much for tuning in!
Is it possible to reply to phone text msg by using the voice command? If not is there a way to edit replies in the list provided? 2021 ux250h
Hi Eugenia, The texting capabilities through Bluetooth are much more restrictive. You can customize and edit the provided quick replies by clicking on the pencil by the each item and then typing in what you would like to save. The vehicle will need to be stopped to make those edits. The best option for texting via voice will be with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Those systems are much more robust and can be used by voice while the vehicle is in motion. I hope this helps! Thanks for being here!
Can you connect your ux to the lexus inform app, if you can how do you do it?
Hi, Nicholas. Yes, you can. What year is your UX? It will make a difference for the instructions. Thanks so much.

@@N1CK_RBLX1400 Hi! Thanks for the reply. You can connect the 2022 UX to the new Lexus App for your Enform services. Sign in to your account and then add the VIN to the app garage with the Scan VIN or manual VIN entry. Then you can manage the subscriptions. Hope this helps.
How to install mirrors on automatic closing
Hi Meri, Auto folding mirrors must be installed from the factory. They can not be installed after the vehicle is produced. I hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for tuning in with us!
How do you turn the ac on on the back seat? Thanks
Hi! The UX doesn't have a separate AC control for the back, but the vents can be opened and closed. They are located in the center section of the back of the center console. The dial to open and close then is right in the middle. Hope this helps. Thanks so tuning in!
Northside Lexus thanks! Even if I open the vents it does not have air. Does it need to be on auto?
@@anjpielicious Hmm. Auto will only adjust the fan speed based on the selected temperature for the climate control system. I don't see a feature called S-Flow in the Owner's Manual, but if you are outside the US you may have other features that I don't have access to. Open your Climate screen, then open any addition setting menu. (It might say Other, or be three dots, or you may need to press the double chevron button down by the Touch Pad). Look for "S-Flow" or for a picture that looks like a person in the front seat with an X then a person in the back seat. This feature, when it is turned on, will cancel air flow to the back to save fuel. Do you see that on your UX?
I’m in the US and I don’t see an S flow. Thanks
@@anjpielicious OK. One more thought:
- Are you in Eco Mode? Or do you have Eco Heat & Cool turned on in the Climate menu? That would not prevent air from blowing in the back seats, but those features do cycle off the AC compressor sooner.
If you've checked all of that and reopened the vent with the dial in-between the two vents, and it still is not blowing, I would check with your Service Department to see if they can help. I hope you get it resolved quickly. Sorry to not be of more help.
Any idea when the 2022's arrive at dealers?
Hi Kelly, Seems like late fall. I'm hearing that we will get NXs and GXs in a few months. Like the rest of the automotive world, we will have some delays due to availability of parts. I'm not sure the UX is due for any major changes yet, and there are no press releases in the Lexus Pressroom so far. Some good channels to follow for releases: Lexus USA & Kirk Kreifels at ruclips.net/channel/UCXPVB7s1TJTE0WjDpakGp5Q They do all the announcements and have reliable details. Thanks so much for supporting our channel as well.
@@NorthsideLexus Thank you!!!
You did not cover the remote start, you mentioned it but did not demonstrate how.
Hi. The app changes and updates so I haven't always included details about app operation, but it functions in the same way. The important part is the profile pairing process that I show in the video. Once it is paired correctly you just touch on the button that says Start on the app screen. The car is designed to run for 10 minutes. You can do two remote starts in a row. Then you need to start it from inside the vehicle. The UX is designed to turn off when you start to enter the vehicle. Just apply the brake and press start like normal to begin your drive. Thanks for tuning in!
Note, the phone charger is not standard. It is a $75 option.
Molto brava! Grazie
Prego! Grazie mille! :)
How weird the back seats get USB-C but the front gets USB-A. You'd think that if it had to keep USB-A's, it would switch them with the backseats.
I think they were easier to switch out since they are charging only. The front USB-As under the arm rest are also linked to the audio system so there is more change. I'm sure we will see more and more USB-C as models continue to get updates. Keeping up the fast pace of phone power inputs is always a chase. Thanks so much for tuning in!
My wife’s 2021 does it have a phone charger.
Hi. The 2021 UX has multiple USB chargers in the vehicle for phone charging. Thanks for checking in.
Is there a map system on the ux 200 because I can’t find it
If you have Home button, then you don't have an onboard native NAV system, you'll use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Previously Waze was compatible through the individual Waze app, but Waze has discontinued that feature and it is now only available through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Hope this helps. @@paperdogstudios6342 Not to worry! With all of the customizations on the version you have on the UX it has come a long way. I use mine all the time in my NX and don't mind it at all.
