Do you have a video of putting the plow on the frame? Curious how you do it without dropping it and losing a finger!

Nice job. I don't think a half-ton is the right job for plowing snow but you got the dollies perfect!

You using a RAM 1500? Also was blade you have and do you have the front leveled or lifted? I have a 2011 RAM 1500 Sport with Bilstien 5100s set at 2.8 to lift the front up just was wondering as I'm going to get a plow for next winter here in Alaska. Thanks.

Hi Gary, yes I have a 2012 ram 1500. Im using the Boss sport plow just for my driveway. I do have the plastic puck spacers in the front end. ordered from Boss and recommended by Boss. I love it....

How does the ram do plowing. I'm thinking about getting a reg cab short box truck for maneuverability. I'm not plowing commercially, just on the farm

I have a 07 RAM, with Meyer Lot Pro LD, and it worked great.. It's manufactured for those trucks, and I did commercial and residential... It's a commercial blad for the 1500 trucks... I'd suggest getting the front end components checked every season, but couldn't be more happier....

I have a Ford F-350 dual wheel drive non 4x4 could I put a plow on it ?

you can put a plow on most trucks. but a dually non 4x4. 2 problems. front tires are not digging. rear tires are splitting rear weight x4. do you have a locker manual or electronic. so now you drop 1k of weight 5 ft forward of front bumper so need 2k of weight over rear axle. very aggressive rear tires like kelly safari mud and snow, wrangler duratracs, or many other soft compound large lug tires with massive tread sips to increase grip. now your gonna do the job but at what risk? get that plow hung up on a pile drop a tire in a ditch game over. gonna need a bigger truck and a kenetic rope to maybe get you un fudged. yes can be done but really a 4x4 f250 regular cab is more than enough to make bank.

@@scottoneill77I was thinking of using shown chains double wide..each axle which I have ,couple tons on the ass end....only my driveway ...or buying a tractor and getting a rear snow thrower...which would work better....never plowed before allready got the truck
