We used a Pallet with old casters that we found in an alley! Works just fine! But this is cool too! Looks like it worked! Nice seeing you and your pops working together! Brought a tear to my eye as mine has passed away!
One of your thanksgiving videos from a couple of years ago popped up in my recommended yesterday,so I watched it. (I’m a fairly new subscriber.)I’ll just say this-there has been some MASSIVE personal growth since then. You’re hardly recognizable as the same person! Even your attitude is different. Hope this isn’t too personal, but I was just impressed and inspired.
I bought those same ones years ago the wheel bearings won’t hold - they will start to break down - pallet jack is the way to go - they work awesome for moving and centering the plow - cherish those times with your papa - god bless -
Nice to see you and your Father working together!!!!! Tools/men working in the garage. Just missing the usually cuss words that happen around here on projects. LOL No busted knuckles either!!1 LOL
Great video Shawn. Something else you could do to is buy some chain hoist and hoist the salt spreader above the plow to make more floor space. I have done that with some of my equipment. I don't use for awile and it has worked well. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the caster wheels from Boss they work great but are pricey but the best thing I use it a pump cart from a grocery store! They work amazing and easy to pull the plows around.
Thanks for video i took a trip to harbor freight last fall and bought like 6 of the tri wheel dollies for my straight blade. Them suckers broke within minutes. So ive been moving it around on my floor jack and setting it on retaining wall blocks😂😂🤷🏻♂️ hopefully all menards carry the ones you got
I have one of the $10 dollies that you first showed with a 400lb ballast box for my tractor on it that I use to wheel around my storage unit when I take it off the tractor and I hasn't broken yet after 9 months or so
run these for years to move and store the plow, they are cost effective but keep your eye on them, the wheels under the plates will bend and break off over time, you can weld the wheels back on but its never the same lol if you get 2 years your laughing, but those little wheels can only hold that weight for so long.
After a couple seasons they will start bending and rolling like a bad shopping cart, I've gone through several sets of these exact dollies. 10 years ago I ended up buying a 70.00 pair of Arctic Cat brand dollies for my 700 lb snowmobile and they are still working like new.
If you would have angled the plow so that the left winglet was against the wall and kicked the right one back on that wall you could have moved the spreader over further. In the end, less room lost to storage.
I have two of those similar dollies there about 10 years or so old.when they first.came.out here my castors are solid metal.so there a bit rough on work shop floor but i used them.to move caravans around. How cool is harbour freight we have nothing like that in australia
Why didn’t you take the plow out of the V and make it straight? Seems like it would free up a little more room, the plow would fit flat against the wall.
NOPE NOPE NOPE....... Magnet's are on DEAL for 3.99 right now..... it's called " PAIN IN THE REAR " for RUclips :-) .... push a pipe over the ranch and done :-) .... those small dollies ..... put Timber as a frame under it 4*4 wood and rest that on those it will stabilize it all so you can do all this yourself one handed.
@@SpencerLawnCare I seen 2 plus myself. But I use the flat one under the plow bracket. And moved the ski ones in towards the middle a lil more. Those r way more fancy then the old skool ones I got. Just make sure u shoot some pb blaster in the bearings every couple months and kind a roll it around a lil to get the oil around the bearings so they don't go bad. Glad that worked out for ya! Should flatten the left wing against the wall and put ur spreader in the corner with the right wing protecting it. Wish I was closer to ya, I'd come work for ya
@@SpencerLawnCare yea it is alot...but I can push it around on my driveway and I take the casters with me when I go out. Paired with a jack I keep in my truck I can throw them on God forbid I need to take the plow off when I'm out. You can also leave the jack stand caster on the perfect height so that you can always push the plow into the truck rather than having to pull up to it.

Well hopefully we wont move it much

I sped those parts up lol
Good to see you and your dad pittling around in the garage together. Nice to see those mover things worked for ya.
For sure man
I LOVE it when a plan comes together.(Chewing on cigar)
Yes sir!

Hmm maybe
I used one of the pallets from the salt and bought 4 swivel wheels and put my plow on it. It was so easy to put my plow on and take off.
Thats sweet man
Jack stand is good idea. Never can be too safe.
Very true
Those are sweet dollies making light work of that plow.
I have the caster wheels from Boss they work great but are pricey but the best thing I use it a pump cart from a grocery store! They work amazing and easy to pull the plows around.
Great problem solving! Awesome job.
Right On 👍🏻 Glad it Worked Out 😊🇺🇸 & for a Great Price Too ......
Good day my man waking up to 6” of snow in ct this morning my plow company sells a similar thing for the plow but they are 💯 bucks
Great video
I must say adding TQ to the mix has been your best business move yet to date!! That tells me you're a wise, wise man Sean...... ":^)
Thanks!!

Nice video! Good luck this season! Can’t wait to see more from you guys this year!
Thanks brother
Those dollies seem solid. Ive used the wooden ones with no trouble, but that's awesome:)
Thanks Pete
Bought me a set 2 years ago very good product
Sweet man
That’s what I use on my western v plow and they work great.
Love them so far.
That worked good. Good luck 2019 lawn care sezen
Thanks bro! Good luck to you as well.
Boss makes a wheel kit , just buy that ! It’s so easy & they are quite durable !
Yeah but $350 seems a bit extreme in my book.
I was surprised you found right casters for snow plough as I didn’t think caster existed but hey I am from Australia LOL. Good value too 👍
Very true man great quality

Ill keep and eye on them

Good to know Pete
Good price on the dollies, I wished I had a menards in my town.
We have harbor freight and Ollie’s.
We have those too
I’m so anxious to see the new mower
Soon bro
The best thing for the job. Nice
For sure Don
Boss sells casters for the plows, much safer than dollies.
Yeah I know but these worked fine.
Looks like that worked out good bro
They definitely did Float
Maybe look into a small trailer dolly to pull it around with. Though you may need to modify it a bit......... or not.

Heading your way the end of next week to lake Erie.

Helloooooo..... hey guys. Great day at work today thank god... tomorrow back again ✌

By the way have those Magnetic strips from harbor freight. They work great!
Good to know bud

nope...bad idea....
It actually makes it longer, so i lose either way.
Did you do a video on the light bar you put on the spreader!?
Yes
Love the video !!
Electric ⚡️ cuts in the house 🏡
Lol
PLEASE CONSIDER GREASING OR OILING THE WHEEL BEARINGS PRIOR TO USING THE DOLLIES.
Hey Spence can you explain to me what Menards is
Its like a Lowe's or home Depot type of store
What TQ said, they just have groceries and other odd and end stuff.
that's the best $ 40 you will spend …. no more busting your butt moving the plow around.
So true, should have done it sooner
Shawn what you think about the new bad boy mowers?
Look good man
@@SpencerLawnCare makes one think Shawn likes that big Kawasaki engine 😉
👍 👍 😎
Thanks Jamey

When you first talked about dollies that’s what I thought of unfortunately I wasn’t able to message you
I appreciate that Pete

Thanks bro👊
Just buy the harbor freight car Dolly’s that’s what I bought with the notch
Thanks man
Harbor freight is good
Thanks man
I have the wooden ones an my boss straight blade snaped them in half
Thats what another giy told me
swisher lawn care vlogs Lol I use them on a 1200 lb v plow no problem. Obviously if you drop the plow on them they will snap.
How many ppl besides myself suggested these? I'm honestly surprised menayrds had those lol
Lol, a bunch

That's better now you wont have a bad back and kidney stones.
True lol
Handsome chap on the right but the guy on the left??
Hahaha thanks
You are missing 4 bolts on your cutting edge
No its the way its made
Why didn't you just leave the plow straight instead of at a v it would have taken a flush room could have pushed it flushed with the wall
It still stuck out far and then it was a bit wider
Why buy dollies when you got Savanah to move it around like a boss 🤷🏿♀️
