Sad that people want to argue about things like this. I myself have both digital (including multi-frequency) and analog devices, and both have their pros and cons. The good sides of analog machines are precisely their sounds and easy checking and adjustment of settings. The good thing about digital is if you want to choose more precisely what finds you dig and what you don't. However, I have not noticed any big differences between them in the separation of metals. Often more important is how the machine locks onto its target.

Yes, the $3000 Nexxus should be better than the XP and mine Lab, etc. But the really sad truth about it is that the $400 triple score completely out classes that metal detector overall😂. It’s programmable, has a great VDI, has multiple programs for different situations, Running a multi frequency, spectrum for high and low conductors all at the same time, completely waterproof, Works great on salt beaches and I could go on and on. I don’t think we are the ones with the intelligence problem.

With that sort of ranting I would be surprised if anyone could take him seriously. He is either a shill for Nexus or he was daft enough to spend 3 grand on that machine and now feels like he needs to justify it. He could just as easily have shared his different point of view without throwing his toys out of his pram.

You can buy a brand new Fisher f75 Ltd edition for 319 pounds now in England, theyv really dropped in price as they're yesterday's machines!

I doubt very seriously that would work on the beach 🏖️ very well

Can you imagine taking that thing to a park?😂

Some of them with proper programming can do quite well. The simplex did great in that unmasking test the other day. The problem is one test is only one possible situation. The ground is littered with chaos, not ideal situations. Multi is going to do better over all. Even multi will often fail! I also looked on the site and it doesn't say which frequency this V3 is running at. It may be running very high frequency (like the gold nugget machines) which will certainly help in unmasking. It does not come with headphones though...for 3k. Wireless or wired! Has a headphone jack which means it's not waterproof or water resistant.

Never mind, looks like the frequency is based on the coil. They seem to go from very low up to 24khz max.

yep, so you have to changed the coil to change freq....Remind me of the Xterra 705 from Minelab years ago...
