Pretty impressive that in 2002 Ferrari already knew how to produce wipers that use shape-memory alloys to perfectly adjust to the shape of the windscreen.

Best rain effects I've seen especially how it moves over the windscreen is from Driveclub. Waiting for my GT sport to arrive that game looks stunning.
I agree GT Sport presentation is incredible. I only have a PC but am interested at getting a ps4 pro for exclusives.

Today's Farrari V-12 engines don't produce the growl of the 1950's-60's cars. This is the best racing game out there today and most realistic.
People talking about the weather effects and the wiper blade on this car I remember playing game called The duel there is no comparison here trust me gameplay on Modern games is incredible people should remember how far we've come in a short space of time

If you want to turn your head lights on, don't forget to select them in the controller set up section. I selected L3 for lights and R3 for wipers.

I love how this game let you play with dynamic weather and it has a believable effect on the handling. This was the best racing game overall in my opinion for consoles in 2017...(PS4 side)
GTS is beautiful and all, but fails to show the limits of the car on the wheel, like this one here does so well.
I really want to see what Kunos is cooking for Assetto 2.

As I've mentioned before unknown, I have genuinely great respect for your driving abilities. So you must be really quite liking Project Cars 2 physics enough to keep putting out these awesome video's (love that rain effect, still). It's still my goal to get thru every car & track, but then I might even see you online sometime?. I just which they would change the fairly awful tire squeal, as it doesn't sound very realistic to me...........
I really appreciate your comments Michael!, so thank you very much. Yeah, we can meet online in PC2 to do some races, i usually play offline but we can meet. BTW i want to create an AC server in some moment because i want a server with all the super/hypercars from the dlc's and also some free (good quality) mods like the ones from Markos Kass. I am completely agree with you about the tyres sound and a lot of people think the same so maybe they will change it at some point.
Good luck with the server idea for AC. My brother and I wanted to race together (from many suburbs away) in a private server of our own, but gave up as it seems quite a complicated process. So good luck with it, if you do end up trying it out.

May be you need to lock the diff more and reduce the ability of the diff to transfer power to the wheel that have more grip...

Hi, can you please tell what difficulty you have this set at in terms of AI. aggression because each time i start a race the a.i ram right in the back of me and can never avoid this thanks
sloppy 2 The difficulty was about 102-105%. The agression around 70% because of that problem, the AI always crash with me, so i try yo use a different braking line.

Can anyone tell me if the graphics in the PC2 demo are dumbed way down? All these RUclips videos I’m seeing look 10x better than what I see on the Xbox 1 PC2 demo. Apart from sliding left to right like I’m on bowling balls that’s the biggest issue I have with PC2 (or at least the demo).

Thank you :) if you are used to AC, it is way different, so i really recommend you to rent the game or to get it borrow from a friend to try it.
I've played it on Xbox One and on PC and stock ffb is not good in my opinion, on PC i use ffb mod and it's acceptable. Because of bad FFB I didn't like console version and bit worse graphics.

absolutely. Sony really fucked up when they got rid of that studio. a sequel could have really bought the series to greatness.
PC2 isnt the prettiest games when it comes it comes to weather effects. But the fact they give you all the options for every track makes it better than the other games. Plus I feel the track reacts realistically to the weather and drivers.
Can someone help me understand how or why I can never maintain control in the rain? Even when lightly touching the gas pedal and not running over any puddles. I seem to not have any control. Yet the cpu drives straight like nothing is wrong. Whats settings can I adjust to compensate?
It's a shitty game that's why. Little rain and it thinks you're driving on ice.
Change tires to full wet, slicks are impossible to Drive, but dont Drive to hard if the Track is dry or just moist or dry. And Change the driving assists, stability control is very useful in these conditions. In the Next Step you could adjust the carsetup.

I was gonna ask if those were human opponents... until turn 1. No way human drivers all make it through that many turns without at least 13 serious crashes.
The sound is hottible and every car has the same sequential shift sound...
It really bugs me that your lights aren't on at all in the replay yet while driving it indicated you had your lights and high beams on. The engine and tire audio is more annoying than anything, too. Game looks nice overall though.

I don't remember the settings i had when i did this video, but now i use one of the jack spade's presets.

Looks more like GT than pc1 did so thats a step in the right direction. Unfortunately when u actually play it the physics are still pretty bad.

You do realize that stuff really happens right? If you've ever driven a car in rain in your life that is? Puddles of water are extremely dangerous at high speed as the car can lose control and it leads to an effect of driving on ice literally. 0 traction.

Fov is way too narrow compared to real life. Should be able to see all they way from driver window to the right passenger window with blurred borders.
unlimited ΙΧΘΥΣ problem is, what i said is a shared problem through most if not all car sims. You should be able to set fov to 120-140 degrees at least.

i just sold my Pcars 2 today ! the graphics outside the car compared with Pcars 1 and the chase cam are HORRIBLE compared with Pcars 1 , definitely a downgrade,but bought online the perfect edition of Pcars 1 since i have the standard, i compared many tracks and landscapes, and Pcars 2 are - low graphics, just go inside the tunnel on Monaco circuit and watch the walls ! it's the best example, even the tunnel lights are off on Pcars 2 , reflections on the glass buildings, the palette color on the hills , the public are missing in many places and the list goes on , he color are too vivid in Pcars 2 , remind a PS2 game in HD version ! besides the car in cockpit, the rest all looks better on Pcars 1 ! wanna have a great realistic race game ? go straight to the definite edition of PCars 1 !
oh well... Many tracks (not all of them though) are either laser or drone scanned and textures (colors) are calibrated to the exact values and colors of the real thing.

I was mentally prepaired for disappointment when I bought Gran Turismo Sport but I was hoping it would be good. Felt like I was always driving on a wet slippy road and the brakes weren't good. Think i'll stick with Forza and Project Cars they piss all over GT Sport in a big way! that game just felt like a entry level bargain bin game. Shame really seem to have lost it's magic - could have been a future classic bet most people have traded it in for something else....I know I did.

guess u dont know the story behind pcars 1. it is not acceptable no matter what feature is in or out. they broke their promise to their backers/investors that pcars would be a decade long project they would build on and made pcars 2 so they wouldnt have to pay the backers/investors. while some things are better with pcars 2 some is worse such as the rain effects. most everything else is graphically better or on par with more optimization.
