My problem with behind the ears style is that I cannot protect my ears in the loud environment or in the sudden loud environment … I cannot close them with my fingers or with my hands. I cannot put your protecting muffin over my head. ?!
Wait wait wait, YOU SAID "That Signia uses the click sleeve instead of the custom mold process, it's a good alternative to the custom mold option.." You do realize that the SILK was made for users that wanted an open fit but concealed? And that it's range is pretty slim based on that fact? A "custom mold is used when the PT's severe loss requires more sound be kept in the ear for better clarity and sound..Its called the SILK, maybe you can mention the names of the devices too..
Great video. One thing that no one seems to talk about regarding the Lyric is what type of hearing loss is it good for? How does it perform compared to the other hearing aides mentioned in your video? How weak does it work in noisy environments? Thanks
Interesting question. I have not worn Lyric so I can't speak to it personally but from what I've heard from others the devices sound very natural and are convenient in the sense that you don't have to take them out. However, they are less advanced for background noise management and require regular clinic visits. You can read our full review here www.soundly.com/blog/lyric-hearing-aids
Typically people report that Starkey is the smallest of the bunch. They've been leaders in custom-molded devices for a long time and do a great job packing in the tech.
And just like Starkey, they have issues that require it to be sent in yearly for repair..great tech, bad device..I wore Starkey fr 3 years...Big Nope..@@HearSoundly
I have tinnitus, which once of the IIC or CIC will have some support for it
Why no one makes anything similar to lyrics? I believe it’s a total winner, but it’s extremely expensive.

Thanks!
Rather, look at Lyric issues and worst case scenarios that have happened to users..then look at the "good" and see if they outweigh the cons..
The only problem is, it is extremely expensive because there is no competition
I have starkly but they discontinued the program in my area

Could you say which of this IIC starkey, phonak or oticon, is more invisible?
