yess it definitely takes some getting used to, but a lot of my recent projects have used bamboo yarn so i’m getting better at it! i still have trouble with my hook splitting the yarn sometimes though but the end result is always so worth it🥲
love this!! If you don’t mind me asking, how tall are you for reference? Just want to make sure I get enough yarn for this project but it’s so beautiful thank you for sharing!
Hello! Yes, it should work as well. From my experience the cotton and bamboo blends are a tad thicker, thus making the dress a little heavier. Cotton is great for summer projects because it is still pretty breathable like bamboo yarn is, I just wouldn’t recommend Acrylic because it would be hot!
hello! maybe i could have worded it better, but i meant you’re inserting your hook into the top of the bottom portion of the dress so you can work on the top with a tighter tension if that makes sense! you start off making the bottom “skirt” part and then do the top after that!
You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it because it will be hot for the summer and spring. I’m also not sure if it’ll be able to achieve the same drape. Maybe a lightweight acrylic could work though!
The PATIENCE it takes to make this😩 so excited for the results tho. great tutorial!💕
i'm so impressed - this yarn is so slippery i can barely hold it 😭

You're talented, you're slaying, and your hair looks fantastic 👏🏾
ahh thank you so much!
Love it! I’m gonna make this my next project. Did you use the 1.75mm hook for the waist part? 🧚
Amazing!! I’m def gonna make this for my trip to Italy
ooh i’m sure you’ll look so good!!
Thank you. ❤❤ The dress.
This is so pretty, Brianna❤❤❤
thank you so much!!
So cute!!❤
thank you! 💓
Would the dress still flare out if I alternate the increase rows? ( like one increase row one no-increase row )
so cuteee 😽😻 if i wanted to try adding sleeves to this, do yk how i might be able to do that? idk where i would attach them :(
Love this dress so much. Can I ask what you wore underneath it?
thank you so much! I just wore a black maxi skirt underneath. I didn’t have to wear anything at the top!

of course!! i am 5’5 for reference :)
very pretty dress, what weight is the yarn?
thank you! it’s weight 3
I just ❤ Truboo yarn. But it is more pricey so I must only use it for special stuff.
It is on the pricer side, but one skein surprisingly goes a long way for smaller projects in the summer!
hello! how much yarn did you use for this project?
Depends on your size if you have a skinny figure 2 yarns should be enough if your bigger 3-4 will do
so I found a yarn I like better but it’s 50 cotton and 50 bamboo would it still be cooling ? I don’t have much experience with cotton yarn

Did you move❓️❓️❓️❓️ Thanks for this, beautiful #crochedress. 😊
No I didn’t! I just don’t usually film in my living room haha
and thank you so much! i hope you make a beautiful dress for yourself :)
@briannasipp I have that #trubooyarn Thanks to you, I'll put it to good use.👍🏻🧶👍🏻
Nice dress
thank you! 🩵
Also when you say 35 inches are you saying that’s the length or the width of the skirt ? Sorry I’m a beginner
the width! you make the skirt as long as you need to :) and no need to apologize
You accidentally wrote bottom of the dress at 7:25 when in the voice recording you said top of the dress

Would a 2.75 work instead of the 1?
Yes that would work! I just have a pretty loose tension because of my wrist :)
Tysm❤❤❤
Did you start with the 5mm?
the pink hook is the 3.5mm hook and the blue is 5mm, i explain in the video where i make the switch!
@@briannasippokay I just rewatched and noticed you explained it in the beginning 😅
❤
Can I use acrylic yarn?
