Thank you for this exceptional tutorial, it transformed my tools beyond my expectations!
Danke für's Einstellen.
Sehr interessant.
There is no life without plasters! Thanks, master for your great explanation.
Very useful information. Outstanding. New subscriber.
Very helpful video. Thanks 👍
Quality instruction, thanks
Very valuable sir, i have a mora and this is the last piece of information i needed to do this!
Great demonstration. Is the comment about the thinness of the tools sold by Robin Wood tools at 9.15 a criticism?
Hi Sean, does it mean that before forging the knive to it's final round shape, it would be better to hollow out the straight stock ? Does my question make sense ?
Hi Caer - as Sean is one of our guest instructors, he probably won't be checking these comments - you should be able to get in touch with him from his website.
@@SpoonClub oh yes, of course, thanks
Scheint so.
Zed Outdoors hat mit Nic Westermann aktuell ein Video dazu gemacht (ca 07/2024)
Nice video 👍 bit to long
Best video on sharpening a hook knife I have seen. Thank you for sharing.
I notice he didn't need to fix a Westermann or a Karlsson spoon knife. Fortunately I was able to get a Karlsson spoon knife few years ago. I don't have six years to wait for a Westermann.
Spoon club interesting I never had issue with my knives do they need to be done I uses my Japanese home made leather strop nice and long for my sword 🤔👍🐺🐾
Really useful video, thank you Sean and Spoon Club. Is it possible to use this method of hollow grinding on a standard carving blade?
Well, yes and no.
Yes, because you can.
No, because by hollow grinding a blade that was probably already flat ground, you risk weakening the edge. It would likely be far more prone to warping and chipping.
I didn’t catch what sort of Dremel bit he used. Can someone tell me?
Das würde mich auch interessieren
Great, thank you! Sean, I was lucky enough to attend your sharpening workshop at spoonfest 2019, can't wait till the next spoonfest... What is the status of your new book?
