    A beautiful day, spoon makers doing their thing, and a dude in a Napalm Death shirt. Doesn’t get much better than this.

    Really enjoyed his class at Spoonfest 2019 and happy with my first attempt. Will definitely be trying to make more off these. Good to have the video here to refer back to again.

    Please, could somebody tell me who makes these stunning spoons at 0:22? I'm so in love with those colours 😍

      Hi Blue! Those spoons are made by the very talented and wonderful Anja Sundberg. Check out our video with her on this same playlist! Sadly she doesn't have an online presence, so her spoons can only be bought in person in Sweden or at one of the many carving festivals she appears at.

      @@SpoonClub Thank you so much, I just watched the interview with her, she's such a kind soul! ❤
      It's sad but at the same time really lovely, that she only sells her beautiful stuff.. like face to face, basically ☺
      I absolutely love your channel and really look forward for the videos to come!
      Best regards from germany ☺

    i am thinking that "power grip" is not powerful until you have done it enough to develop the muscles needed to to do it. This is one of those "it looks so easy" issues that comes up all the time. it is also one of the things that can cause injury (not from being cut by the knife) from straining the muscles too much. This is why young children, less than 12 years old, are not introduced to sloyd.

    I heard him mention a maker of carving tools. Where could I go to purchase some of these tools online?

    • @SpoonClub
      @SpoonClub  3 года назад +1

      Hi there there are a couple of toolmakers mentioned - Svante Djarv & Hans Karlsson (he also talks about the trusty Mora 164). You should be able to buy tools from all these makers online, but it depends where you're based. In the UK, you'd be able to buy tools from both makers at www.woodlandcraftsupplies.co.uk/ or woodsmithexperience.co.uk/ - I hope this helps - if you have any other questions, please let me know!
