My x-girl Carla danced to this song July 24, 2011 at Gold Coast Ballroom in Coconut Creek, FL. I taped it too. On Aug. 29, 2011 she would break my heart and tell me almost word for word what Lulu sang in this song. Now my video has a bitter sweet meaning. Writing this should start the healing and grieving process.
Tell me about it! From a dancer's point of view its all about the speed/ pace! Most of today's music is simply way too fast! House is best from 120 to 140 BPM (beats per minute). What makes a great house record is the sense of "drama", the lyrical and rhythmic build-up, a story telling subject (usually love or passion), and some incredible instrumentation and irresistible vocals with personality and attitude! Today there is hardly anything of that left...sadly so.
Thank you, Delta Elite DC!!! ❤💐🏠🎶
