I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw the name of this video. Unreal. Rob, you’re so good at what you do and I’m hoping you’re having a lovely time!
I’m amazed how Jack accepted me and my wife. He had no idea what to expect from me. He drove up by himself, got out of his truck and welcomed me like a long lost friend with a warm handshake.
The burger was very good. It was a little over done. I asked for it medium, but it came out well. It was not dried out at all and the flavor was good. Yeah, the fries were frozen crinkle cut. The onion rings looked to be freshly breaded and were awesome.
wow, i am very jealous that you got to hangout with perhaps the most well known celebrity chef on youtube! looks like the three of you had a great time
I am not sure what you are referring to. We have a small town in Wisconsin called Mr Horeb that celebrates the troll. There are troll statues everywhere in that small little town. It’s kind of a cool little town to visit. They have a really nice brewery called the grumpy troll.
Funny you should mention that…. I have tried but some setting is stopping me from doing it. My camera seems to compensate ok so I don’t need it. Also, I don’t like the glowing eyes the camera light sometimes causes.
I remember when I met Jack. It’s been several years ago. I was at my doctors building waiting for my bus, it was on my birthday. I see their vehicle pull up and I’m thinking no it can’t be. Sure enough I see Tammy get out and get the wheelchair he was using at the time. She pushes it to the passenger side. The door opens and I see Jack. We talked for a while and got pictures together. That was the best birthday present I got that year.
That’s a great story. When I met him I had contacted a couple weeks earlier because I knew we would be in his area. It was nice to meet him. I was hoping Tammy could have joined us. That would have been nice. The couple hours we spent together were very nice. I hope to do it again some time.
Yes, Jack’s health has definitely taken a turn for the worse since I met with him. Every thing that he thinks has a Political Agenda is stressful to him. You can see it in the posts he shares on Social Media. The man has to learn to let that stuff go and concentrate on the things he can control. He does not seem to be able to do that. I am afraid his next stroke is going to send him to assisted living permanently.
@@RobMilanowski Suprised that Jack had so many opportunities to "change it around". Other people don't even survive 1 Stroke, let alone a Heart Attack.
@@SwissMarksman Yes, Jack has made it clear that he knows what is best for his health. I wish him the best and hope that the stress he feels does not take him out permanently.
Woah, you and Jack finally met! What brought you to Tennessee? The burger looked tasty, but I bet it can’t hold a candle to the burgers we’ve got in Wisconsin 😉
My wife and I needed to get somewhere warm.. We drove down to Florida. Nashville is the 1/2 way point. The burgers at this place were really good. Mine was a stuffed Mushroom Swiss. It was stuffed with Swiss, and it was good. I have a favorite burger place in my hometown. I like my hometown burgers better.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I too have seen a couple videos that had chicken that did not seem done. Jack usually says that they hit 165° F, but sometimes the legs and thighs look a little under. I don’t know… I wasn’t there to read the thermometer sampled in multiple locations.

Yes, you did see me in Randy Santel’s latest video. I’ve been to a few of his challenges and have talked to him a few times. He seems to be a nice guy and is very personable. The guy has nearly 1.5 million subscribers and sure knows how to interact with his followers.
I don’t think he actually specializes in any specific type of cooking. He sort of does it all. He’s an average guy that sometimes has good outcomes and sometimes has not so good outcomes. Lately many of his videos have featured low carbs. (Sugar substitutes)
We stayed in the Nashville area for a couple days. We had other plans including going to the Grand Ole Opry (which was amazing) and walking up and down Broadway checking out live bands. Timing worked out perfect and Jack was kind enough to carve out an afternoon to spend with us. We are grateful for the time he gave us. We did discuss him visiting Wisconsin. Culver’s would definitely be on the to do list. Maybe a couple of Cheese factories. LaClare Family Creamery and Union Star. Catch Union Star when they are making curds and you are in heaven.

I’m sorry, I’m not going to be doing that recipe. I’ve seen a few other’s videos that have tried to make it. From the results that I have seen and the reactions, I do not want to waste food.
My wife always tells me I will regret ordering onion rings, but I always seem to order them anyway. And, yeah, I always do regret it - every time. Something about onion rings is really appealing, but the actual experience of eating them isn't that great. I hope your experience was better than mine. Also, doesn't Jack do "one and done?" Was it awkward to have him sitting there, not eating after one bite, while you and your wife enjoyed your meals?
These onion rings were great. It was more of a liquid (beer?) batter that was used. The actual onion was sweet. That crispy, slightly salty crust over the soft sweet onion was awesome.
