I'm a woman and as I mentioned on Jaime's video, I went to see Adele live in concert, where she helped a guy propose to his BF and then found a drag queen, that was her look alike, she got her on stage and complimented her. antitrans legislation like that often ends up with at least as many cis black gnc women being monitored and excluded from women’s spaces as white trans women, if not more. it absolutely would be harmful enough if it just targeted and impacted trans ppl, but the fact that it also specifically opens up new justification for surveillance of already over-policed racialized bodies of cis and trans ppl is super significant

She's a woman, loving to be herself, that's all. And we all clapped. I love being me, as transmasc as I am. And she loves being a woman. It's the same. I feel like a woman in a way that’s tied to my menstrual cycle (just my personal connection to “womanhood-“ not saying it’s a definition that applies to all women) but I’m neurodivergent and gendervague (the concept of gender doesn’t mean much to me outside of social conventions) and I hate being perceived as a woman or feminine.
