Hi there, thank you for your question! check for a physical lock switch and ensure it’s unlocked. If there’s no switch or the issue persists, open Command Prompt as an administrator, type "diskpart", and use "list disk" to identify the USB. Select the drive with "select disk (drive letter)" , then clear the read-only state by typing "attributes disk clear readonly". Exit Diskpart, and if necessary, format the drive by typing "clean", "create partition primary", and "format fs=ntfs quick" in Diskpart. If the USB is still read-only, test it on another computer to check for hardware issues.

Hi there, thank you for your question! I would first make sure the download is from a reliable source then I would recommend trying a different extraction tool and see if that solves your issue.

Hi there, thank you for your question! First check physical connections by using different USB ports, trying a new cable, and testing the HDD on another computer. Run the CHKDSK command by opening Command Prompt as an administrator and typing chkdsk (your drive letter): /f /r to scan and fix errors. In Device Manager, update or reinstall the HDD driver, and in Disk Management, ensure the drive is healthy or change the drive letter if needed.

Hi there, thank you for your question! It means it's most likely an hardware issue with your drive and I would recommend taking it to a professional or replacing the drive.
