The reality is if you played John’s clip for Democrats, instead of hearing his words, they would label him a misogynist because he didn’t vote for Hillary and he didn’t vote for Kamala.
Yes. There are actually several additional powerful reasons as well. I’ve had ZERO success trying to explain any of this to Democrats. I’ve tried with hundreds of them - I used to travel and strike up political conversations with strangers. I like to think of myself as reasonable, but I was something like 0 for 200.
It took him too long. I could see this by sophomore year of College, that the Democrats were kids with trusts listening to reggae and ignoring anything they haven't been told to care about.
John speaks for a lot of us. I'm still so disappointed in Mark for his passive aggressive insults regarding RFK. When people call RFK a kook, it says a lot about that person and nothing about RFK.
'Smug-elite' is going to be my new go-to phrase. It encapsulates all the media, majority of politicians of both parties, academia and the radical woke crowd.
Agreed! Many people voted for trump because of rfk jr. to box him out would be ridiculous. Or any one of his picks unless something factual and awful comes up during vetting and hearings. Trump earned his way.
I had to tap out during the live broadcast this morning to make an appointment just as this guy was being introduced. I’m glad I came back and heard this young man’s comments and the responses from the panel. I’m not a Trump guy; never cared for his personality and his zero-sum attitude towards negotiation. That said, the two political parties and the institutions they populate have failed miserably and if, as this young man expressed, there’s even a chance that a Trump administration might initiate some meaningful change and a course correction, I think it’s worth the risk as continuing down the same path we’ve been on for far too long is suicidal.
This guy gets it. There are millions of him. Would love to see him get a full hour to explain why a doctor would vote for RFKjr. I bet we'd all learn a lot about how the pharma-funded media tells lies about him and misconstrues his actual words/beliefs.
This was a terrific discussion. The reason I like this group of pod-casters is that they sincerely try to achieve objectivity. Nobody embraces objectivity these days; everyone seems to be "selling their position". This group is open to changing their minds and have the humility to explain where their positions may be uncertain. I suppose I could have condensed the above paragraph down to my appreciation of professionalism. Once again, I've failed Orwell.
“Trump is purely transactional,” how scientific a viewpoint from someone who recognizes the total failure of the mainstream media that provided all of his information.
It's funny how people believe with all their might they can do a psychological profile by what someone says on TV. This guy falls into that category who doesn't understand that people on TV are nothing like what they portray. This guy should understand that every person running for president is more than a little narcissistic, and so he focuses on personality rather than what the person's actually does for the country. I'd love to sit him down and ask him if he thought FDR was a narcissist (hint: big time). But Obama was the absolute biggest narcissist. Take a look at a transcript of any Obama speech and it has more "I's" than a housefly. Democrats are now the party of the Billionaire, their policies are geared around billionaires, and they communicate a sense of outrage about social issues to get a bunch of marginal voters onboard by claiming the other side is Hitler or claiming the other guy will take away abortions. Meanwhile, Democrats haven't done anything of value to voters since Johnson left office.
Doctors make up the largest percentage of the wealthiest 1%. They charge insane amounts of money to talk to them for 2 or 3 minutes and don't care how hard it is for working class people to pay for the privilege of being allowed in their presence. I recommend that this doctor who feels the need to announce his ivy league education take a good look at himself before accusing anyone of being a narcissistic hustler.

Yes.
This is the best explanation of why trump won so convincingly

Sad day for everyone who wants 30 ingredients in their cereal
This guy gets it.
It took him too long. I could see this by sophomore year of College, that the Democrats were kids with trusts listening to reggae and ignoring anything they haven't been told to care about.
I didn't expect a medical Dr to explain to me why I voted the way I did, but he is right about everything.
John speaks for a lot of us.
I'm still so disappointed in Mark for his passive aggressive insults regarding RFK.
When people call RFK a kook, it says a lot about that person and nothing about RFK.
Especially with Mark history, he has no room to talk.Marks liberalism comes out from time to time
'Smug-elite' is going to be my new go-to phrase. It encapsulates all the media, majority of politicians of both parties, academia and the radical woke crowd.
Trump should get the cabinet appointments he wants. He has the mandate. If he uses all his collateral now, then so be it.
Agreed! Many people voted for trump because of rfk jr. to box him out would be ridiculous. Or any one of his picks unless something factual and awful comes up during vetting and hearings. Trump earned his way.
Spot on.
This is why I listen to 2WAY.

Amen! This gentleman is channeling the thoughts of so many of us. I'm so grateful to him and to Mark for this platform.
Very well said! Thank you for your honesty.
I watched this live this morning. Excellent viewer response!
Thank you 2-Way we are spreading the word about you to our friends
John is the best intervention so far in this election cycle
Amazing caller. So so true.
I know everyone in chat loved this guy. I wish I could have been there 😊
Good Doctor, everything in this world is transactional….that’s the way of the world….😂😂
This guy gets it. There are millions of him. Would love to see him get a full hour to explain why a doctor would vote for RFKjr. I bet we'd all learn a lot about how the pharma-funded media tells lies about him and misconstrues his actual words/beliefs.
Wow I loved this take. Please come again and I hope to hear more from him.
Ths. guy is speaking for millions of young people like him

Voted for Obama.
Sanders
Clinton got the WV nomination, even though Sanders won.
Clinton vote reluctantly.
Trump 2020 & 2024
“Trump is purely transactional,” how scientific a viewpoint from someone who recognizes the total failure of the mainstream media that provided all of his information.
Excellently stated.
Thank you for highlighting this so we wouldn't have to try and edit this portion of the episode ourselves.
Wonderful observations. 2Way essential coverage.
The title of this truly remarkable discussion should be retitled to: “Dancing on Legacy Media’s Grave”!
Just ADMIT IT! You got many things wrong during Covid.
This is one smart caring doctor
They intentionally misspelled doctor
The ONLY people against RFK jr are either ignorant about his actual.beliefs or willfully corrupt .
Great answer, great platform but Doctor is spelled wrong
Insightful, Insight and interesting…
Excellent rambling take
He’s so cute.
What's a 'Docter'?
Journalism is failing. Proofreaders needed.
Well educated, but not smart.
The Status Quo has to go.
Boom.
He’s magnificent

You can see who you think Trump is and I can see your wrong.
It’s End of Empire

So you are denouncing all doctors, as a group?
