I LOVE the MTG addition. While I sadly sold out of Magic years ago, I really appreciate seeing your enjoyment. And yes, old school foils are a sight to behold. I managed to foil out a Modern Ad Nauseam deck and it was a blast. Fortunately, I sold it before a key card was banned.
Depending on what you sold, you might have made a good profit, haha. Get back in! Many cards that used to be expensive are now cheap, which is part of the problem for me. But if it helps people get in to the game, maybe it's worth it overall.
@finngamer Man, I didn't realize that some cards have come down in value so much. I guess that was always the risk with non reserve list cards. Any standout examples of cards that lost a lot of value? Just curious. But I think the reason why I ended up getting out of MTG was because I never had a good playgroup here. I ended moving about 7 years ago. In my former town, I had a great magic community, local game store, etc... My new town's LGS was very disorganized and pretty unwelcoming. So I ended up selling some of my physical cards and playing MTGO. Maybe I should give it another go!
As a 10+ year viewer, very happy about the new format. And I love the casualness of saying you have 40 original duals-non-MTG viewers might miss how much value you just implied 😂
As a tip: Always open your physical games and inspect them. I had recently quite a lot of examples, where the card was damaged (even after changing for new copy). I guess some batches are like that.
Much love from Ecuador Finn, i've been watching many of your special edition unboxings from the PS3 and Xbox 360 era and, one thing i noticed is, well it seems to me that the european versions are much more better, varied and creative than the US versions, even the retail copies are more attractive, with different artwork on the CDs and sometimes some background art in the game case. Two stand-outs for me are, Resitance 3: Survivor Edition and Killzone 3: Helghast Edition.
WarioWare does not only have 1 title per console. A lot of Nintendo consoles have 2 WarioWare! GBA has the original and Twisted. DS has Touched and DIY. Wii has Smooth Moves and DIY Showcase. Switch has Get It Together and Move It
Went back and watched your Alan Wake unboxing back in 2010,I remember it because we flew out to Spain the next day You must have been extremely disappointed that the sequel didn't get a physical release?
Pretty nice things you've aquired there Have you been playing the remake of Mario RPG as well? A common national online shop sold copies that come along with a little kind of stand-up display which looks cute Are you finished with your Wii U colkection so far? I recently aquired Bayonetta 2 first print Edition which is quite larger than I expected but quite good looking Do you have any proven informations about Black Chest Edition for Wii U? Found a listening 2 years ago on Ebay but the sleve was told to be one of about 11 known existing reproductions, well made however Some editions are hard to find nowadays still quite some valuable ones missing in my collection Stay save snd healthy Greetings from Germany
Yeah, I'm pretty much done with my Wii U collection. Don't have a Black Chest, but it's definitely confirmed. It was available on Ubisoft's own website, and there are a small number of real copies floating around. Be wary of repros, sure.
I love mtg content but i don’t know much about the game. Would you mind giving more context for us who maybe don’t know a lot about magic? Now I’m curious why terese nielsen isn’t allowed to make art anymore and what’s the difference between the old school foils and the new ones 👀
Sure! Nielsen had said/done some iffy things publicly (far-right, Qanon...) and Wizards made a statement that they'll not be commissioning more work from her. Old school foils just shine more. :D Modern foils have a dull effect to them. This is in addition to modern foils being so common, they don't even raise the price. Also, modern foils have a curling problem that old ones don't, so many people even prefer non-foils.
You're the best man. You've brought me so much happiness over the years and its a pleasure every time I see a new video come up! Thanks Finn
Agreed.
Hey, that's super nice to hear. Thank you for watching.
Same man. I’ve grown up watching his videos it’s great he still uploads
Always thrilled to see another recent collecting from Finngamer , keep it up
Thanks!

Amazing! Back at it. Love to see it.

Yeah, it's weird how often European versions have something extra.
Made it to the end, loved the video!
I really appreciate that!
if you like fallout there is currently a fallout themed magic deck you can pre order.
Another great haul as always, Finngamer. I can't wait to get Super Mario Bros. Wonder, especially with German and Japanese support.
It's a great game!
And all the other goodies as well.
Definitely.

True, now that you mention it!
That’s one console and 2 handhelds. 3 is not a lot 3 is a few.
I think it's a good idea you're adding MTG here too. It worked great in your ASMR channel
Thanks for the feedback!
It'll basically just mean longer videos, haha.

I wouldn't say extremely, but yeah, the world of game collecting isn't what it used to be. :D
