    Nice video for learning about Kansas. I'm just starting to look at Kansas.
    I hope to find somewhere that's safe yet has a reasonable cost of living. It seems as one goes up, the other goes down.
    I read western Kansas has lower tornado risk due to terrain breaking up the flatness, maybe there are medium cities there around 30k to 60k population that are better suited to me.
    Dodge City seems like a good option, with the bonus of its history, but I'm sure there are others.

      Thank you for your comment. We have actually had fewer tornados in the past several years as it seems that the severe weather pattern has shifted further south and east. But we do occasionally get a tornado. If you decide to pursue a suburb of Kansas City, please reach out. I would love to help you! We have several smaller suburbs of the Kansas City area that are less expensive and have a "small town" feel. Kansas is really a great place to live!
