The largest county by jobs, density and economy is Johnson county, Kansas. Jackson county mo is only biggest by population and area.

Jackson County is clearly more dense. It also has slightly more jobs.

Look into taxes between the two states. I have found that with retirement, it is better to live on the Kansas side. We don’t have to pay state tax on our retirement in Kansas.

Best neighborhood in metro KC is Brookside. They need to extend the streetcar to it though. Brookside is a "streetcar suburb", bring the streetcar back to Brookside!

It is being extended to Brookside. The Southern anchor will be at 51st and Brookside Blvd

    I choose Johnson County.
    Better restaurants
    Nicer neighborhoods
    Better schools
    More Mexican American friendly
    Better politics

Comment before watching: Missouri got even more uptight, too 'white and outta sight' than Kansas, and I think that's saying something... and then they legalized cannabis. Money - people tend to make it in MO and live in Johnson or Wyandotte counties in KS. If your tax, income, investments, or family circumstances are unusual it will pay to consult accountants and lawyers before making a final decision. It's a big metro area with lots to do and some good folks.

Hence part of the reason behind the 1% income tax in KCMO. Thanks for watching!
