Bobby you are right to say this W206 is heavier. Its about 145kg heavier than the W205 C300 possibly due to its 48V and ISG system but I do hope some of the weight went to improving its NVH over the W205. Another thing to note is the lower ground clearance and 100-200kmh acceleration. AFAIK the G20 330i is about 3 seconds quicker than the W206 which is a lot TBH.
W206 is 200 kg heavier. Okla let's say 150kg that's insanely heavy, 1675kg heavier than all the D segment sedans which are larger. Looks like the weight could have gone to body strength and rigidity, solid body

Hi Bobby. In this initial test drive, did you feel any 'delayed reaction' or 'delayed throttle response' when you stepped on the accelarator? I don't mean turbo lag BUT the sensation that a degree of throttle delay has been built into the system. I'm asking because my W205 C300 facelifted 2019 model (the 190kw model not the older 180kw model) has this very annoying issue. It is especially apparent when the car is not at a complete stop (or going slowly at a roundabout) and you step on the accelerator. There is like a half second of delay before the engine kicks into action. It's a deal breaker for me, which is why I would really love to know if the W206 C300 (with its mild hybrid system) still has this issue?
Good observation. I did experience this issue with the pre Facelift W205 C200 AMG. Turbolag I think very little (max torque comes from 1200 rev) but weak and delayed throttle response is very apparent. It's unlike 3 series, Arteon or Passat. It could be Mercedes Benz configuration. BMW is super responsive, Audi too, maybe lesser by few margins, W205 does feel lethargic
No rear USB port and no rear automatic zone control but 3 Series have. Even 3 series has better quality while benz quality is not as par as BMW and Volvo
Depends on your taste. Actually, S60 and 3 Series G20 are not really old, still looks premium. Even acceleration for S60 and 3 Series is better, also cheaper and nicer than C200 and C300
Adaptative suspension are an option, same as directional rear wheels. On the plugin hybrid you get air suspension on the rear as standard which helps to compensate the extra battery weight
Bobby, would you test drive all the D segment sedans. Underrated segment. Like the Camry, Accord, Passat R Line & Elegance. Genting Run with these monsters would be awesome.
