I know it is a lot. I had NHL in 2021 and relapsed with it in my brain and spine in 2022. My prognosis was months and here I am. It isn't easy but we can do hard things❤❤
Im 24 and had aggresisve thryoid cancer wth a super rare variant. Ive got a risk stratification test in two months and im terrified. Ive had my radiaion meds and surgery but this wll show me how well my treatment has worked and if there's aything else happening. Its so hardto be a young person with cancer and the waits are awful. Romee, I can see you are very cared about by this community of youtube watchers. I along with others have you in our prayers. My husband as I've mentioned is still here under a palliative care diagnosis of cancer in 2019 where death loomed, and has no active cancer today and for the last 14 months! We thank the Lord Jesus Christ for this as they gave him no hope. Well 2% chance. It's has plenty of bumps along the way and challenges. I loved to hear that you are so close to being off their care list. That will be an amazing day! Prayers that in two months you get the freedom from cancer diagnosis. My husband is suppose to be under care for life. One day we hope he doesn't have to though. I loved how caring your doctor is to you. That is a true blessing! Prayers for you, your boyfriend, family and friends.

For my type of breast cancer which is stage 2 triple negative BC and you have to have 5yrs of clear scans and tests before you can say your cancer free but as of this month (June 2923) I can at least say I am now 2yrs in remission from stage 2 triple negative breast cancer ❤

Speaking personally, I missed your posts, so it's good to hear from you! I'm so glad you have been enjoying life... Take time to process and let the dust settle. Then look at what you have around you. Good friends, a supportive partner a nice place. Don't let worry make you blind to what you can still enjoy now.. Enjoy your now time. Time will pass and all your worries could be for nothing. And if they aren't how has worrying now helped you cope/ or be happy. So go enjoy and focus on all your many blessings. Remember your good at this you have got it! And I think your hair is beautiful! From a fellow survivor.

Don't ever apologise, especially not for cancer! I hope it all becomes nothng and you are deemed clear finally. My mum was 3-4 years before they cleared her and then my dad got cancer of the esophagus, which took him away last Sept, but now I have a tumor on the front left of my brain, so it really doesn't give two hoots who it comes for or how it destroys people. You're a true inspiration though and you keep a lot of people fighting for themselves. I have everything crossed for you!!! 💖🙏💖

Romee its good to see you. Ive enjoyed watching your travels. I know the feeling of waiting for a scan. I too had cancer last year n am ok with my first scan. But it does make you worry when they tell you there's something there but they don't know what. I know it'll be hard not to think about for the next 2months. I can only imagine how stressful this is but here is one way to look at it... At least your cancer journey is continuing - It hasn't come to an end. Thank goodness it's taking "much longer than expected"- things could be going completely the other way right now - you're one of the lucky ones. I know you know that - I'm just reminding you that the next two months is just "the next two months". While we all want it to come to an amazing finish, we also know that doesn't always happen so even though I know how desperately you need for this to be finished and over and done with - what's another 2 months? (Easy for me to say 😅) You didn't get the, "we've done all we could" speech so we are all just going to send every bit of good juju that we have to you and know that in two months everything is going to be just fine. In the meantime - keep living your life! Don't apologize for making up for lost time, but please do check in every now and then just so we all know you're okay. You feel like my little sister and I just need to know that you're good. ❤

Romee its good to see you. Ive enjoyed watching your travels. I know the feeling of waiting for a scan. I too had cancer last year n am ok with my first scan. But it does make you worry when they tell you there's something there but they don't know what. I know it'll be hard not to think about for the next 2months. Hope you can get lots of rest n fix your apartment. Take care.❤

I hope that you are alright that's all that matters. You're right you don't have to explain or apologize for living life. I just hoped that you would have a long remission. My God smile upon you and look out for you always.
I can only imagine how stressful this is but here is one way to look at it... At least your cancer journey is continuing - It hasn't come to an end. Thank goodness it's taking "much longer than expected"- things could be going completely the other way right now - you're one of the lucky ones. I know you know that - I'm just reminding you that the next two months is just "the next two months".
While we all want it to come to an amazing finish, we also know that doesn't always happen so even though I know how desperately you need for this to be finished and over and done with - what's another 2 months? (Easy for me to say 😅) You didn't get the, "we've done all we could" speech so we are all just going to send every bit of good juju that we have to you and know that in two months everything is going to be just fine.
In the meantime - keep living your life! Don't apologize for making up for lost time, but please do check in every now and then just so we all know you're okay. You feel like my little sister and I just need to know that you're good. ❤
Romee, dear, try not to worry. The tiny spot on the pet scan is probably nothing. I am praying it will disappear.
Given her history it likely is something. Enough for them to do a scan. But sure. False hope is wonderful

@@zhaviyah84A lot can show up on scans. Scarring, mild infections, inflammation etc. Her doctor isn’t too worried so that’s a positive thing.
