He will be a perfect Philip the second.Beautiful voice, very deep with dark colors when it is necessary.I just watched him before yesterday as Mephisto in Faust of Gounod🌚👏🙏🎵🎶🙌
Not a bass. Uneven vibrato caused by poor breathing habits. The voice bleats unpleasantly. But most astonishing is that anyone would call him a bass. Lyric baritone I think. A voice for Dulcamara.
@@lamur770 i had the opportunity to hear Ildar Abradzakov in Don Carlos the first version in French of Don Carlo and he was outstanding and before him the regretted Hvorostowski.

Wonderfully subtle.
I can’t wait for him to do the full role. But en francais s’il vows plait!
There's something missing... but I couldn't tell you what it is.
Emotion

Voice is not a Bass. Not even a bassocantante. A baritone. Horrible choice for his voice
@@bassodivo1He is not baritono. I think you're exaggerating. He is deep then baritono
This aria is very difficult...
Here's what's hard: How do you compare anything to Siepi ruclips.net/video/eyuNdko_T1o/видео.html

He doesn't have the weight or authority to pull this aria off.
So wrong
Sounds sick and weird.
Three years ago this singer had quite a remarkable voice. Now he just seems to be another blustering, lazy baritone.
Blustering and lazy in the same time, strange oxymore!!!
This is a mean response to a video which records a sensitive interpetation of a difficult aria.
The best Filippo 2 ist Ferrutio Furlanetto.
