- What are some of the best Bougainvillea flowering tips? Here in this video, I have shared about the things which I usually do on my Bougainvillea plants. I have provided total 5 simple tips that anyone can follow. The most important thing is to apply the right combination of fertilizers. There are total 5 items that we can apply. In most cases, applying only 3 would be more than enough. But, even after doing many things if your Bougainvillea plants are not blooming well, then please make sure to apply the last 2 components at any cost. Definitely you would get good result. We just had a very severe hurricane here in SW Florida a few weeks ago. My bougainvillea made it through with flying colors, other plants and trees, not so well. In place of potassium humare can I give humic acid. For example Huminoz from Utkarsh?

Please try to apply the fertilizers as mentioned..n please avoid watering too frequently. As there are less leaves, plant would need less water. You should see new leaves within few days once you apply the fertilizers. Good luck 👍

Actually nothing much to do as winter is almost dormancy time. 2-3 hours of Sunlight n water is more than enough. I would try to do though..thank you 🙂

@Mamoni Bora, Cuttings depends on temperature..n by looking at your name, it looks like you are from my place..(Ghy, Assam) If yes, definitely it can be done and even I propagate plants in winter by cuttings. If temp is above around 10-15 degree celcius, nothing to worry too much :-). Sorry for late reply..RUclips doesn't send any notification for nested comments, thank you!
