initially liked the shiny hunting in this game, but even full odds it's just too common and doesn't give me much of a thrill anymore. hope it's more balanced in scarlet and violet, somehow. still want overworld shinies but hopefully they mess with the mechanic somehow to bring some rarity back to the hunts!
