The Tears of the Kingdom prophecy came true, and the pressure is back on for Link, the Hero of the Wild to save us once again! But who cares about that guy! I’ve seen him do a slow motion backflip before swinging his sword at the speed of light to take out an entire camp of Bokoblins! These tough times are the hardest on the ordinary, or in other words people like me, your average Hylians. What has this all been like from their perspective?

I heard Traysi started up a news paper office outside of Rito Village! Perhaps she could use a photo journalist at the paper. I'm sure Purah wouldn't mind you taking on extra work. And the extra income might find a new home for you and your horse. It doesn't look like the Landing has a lot in the way of apartments.
isn't hebra (not the mountains) really cold right now though
@@TerraKnight27 Tabantha and Hebra are really cold, it's true. Our Hylian friend would absolutely need to bundle up before going.
Yeah I was just crashing on the beds in the emergency shelter when no one needed it. Heading toward the Rito sounds fascinating
@Your Average Hylian If you go there, bring cold whether gear, blizzard occurring there.
Once you get enough money tarry town is for sure growing. I’ve heard once you get 4500 rupees you can design your own house
I think you should head to Rito Village next - I'm headed there as well! But be prepared though, I heard there's an awful blizzard in the area that won't stop and the Ritos are also needing help with food supplies! There's also something weird going on above that region and I'll try helping with the research and documentation to help Purah as well! Also, I saw Impa by the New Serenne Stable - they're studying the weird glowing thing that appeared on the ground as well. Might need a high vantage point to see the whole thing though so maybe find a paraglider if you're interested in that? Stay and journey safe!
i recommend that too, i heard a newspaper near there is short on reporters. couldn‘t that be a job for a traveling filmmaker like you?
What! They got a blizzard going on up there. I'm underneath the Hebra region and melting in the heat.
Just do it
Yea, it’s pretty bad for us over there. I have food saved up from hunting, but supplies are starting to run thin. I’ve tried to fly up those rising islands, but one of those constructs shot me good. I really want to know what’s going on up there, I’ve been trying to see what’s been going on. I could have sworn I saw the shadow of a boat or something…
@Kayla Imp yeah we really do, what weird is that i think i saw zelda fly into the blizzard? Must have been dreaming
Hello, 'tis me, Link. I've been all around Hyrule, and I'd suggest staying at the lookout landing, as most towns are very dangerous for now (especially Gerudo, which is littered with Gibdos, which are less menacing if you attack them after throwing a piece of chu chu jelly on them). The only safe places are Kakariko village, Hateno village and Tarrey town. I would suggest not entering the depths, because the fall alone is enough to kill the average hylian, and even if you make it, it's filled with gloomy monsters, big weird frogs and worst of all, the Yiga clan.Avoid going underneath stables in the depths as Lynels seem to be attracted to those, and they have armor too.
omg it’s Link Link 😍
Hey, you’re safe! Where have you been and what happened?
guys this isn't the real link, link would only ever make grunts and screams. when ever the real link talked to me he would just move his hands and i would just understand somehow.
Well f
Yeah, I never actually met him before
My dudeee, you dont know how much I get so jolly watching your videos. So SOOO happy that you got sponsorship too!

The extra support for the channel was exciting! Glad you're enjoying the videos :D

You should name your horse after the Golden Goddess of Courage Farore, as it helped you get through that terrifying journey! Also, I've heard Hudson and Rhondson from Tarrey Town are offering a new dream-house-building service, so it might be worth checking that out.
Yeah, they're also in a very secure location. I recently moved there, and I haven't seen a single monster in the area. Maybe they're scared of the strange devices that fell from the sky near by
When Link comes back - if he comes back, he'll beat us all to it....
I don’t know, that dream house costs 3,000 rupees. I don’t know how much he’s making from these videos, but that’s really on the expensive side.
@@lilian95110 ok, yeah that's true

I knew there was a house missing last I walked through Hateno! I'm sorry you lost your house! Thank goodness we have such welcoming communities in Hyrule
Wait.. You're telling me Simon isn't the head researcher?! Well I've made a fool of myself
It might be worth checking out the Lucky Gazette, I hear they're based up in Hebra if you're ever out that way. Maybe you could help them document affairs of the people here and there. I'd wrap up warm though, I overheard someone talking about the weather being more extreme all over Hyrule so who knows where could be affected
Yeah, here near Rito village there's a big snowstorm.
It destroyed the main bridge and therefore we can't bring supplies like food in. Everyone has been really busy savaging as much as possible, but it's difficult... If only there was a way to stop this storm... The village... It's depressing how empty it is.....
@@FuryJack07 That's terrible! I hope the Rito are doing ok without proper supplies. Stay safe friend
Also, based on what’s in the latest papers, the Lucky Clover Gazette seems to be investigating potential princess Zelda sightings as well, and I’m sure your camera would sure be very useful in that kind of search.
Also heard there is a new hit food called "marbled rock roast" being sold at death mountain. Might check it out later after I figure out my weapon situation...
The lucky clover gazette has some armor I’m hoping to get that stops slipping

You should ask some of the people at lookout for a paraglider! That way, you can use the towers to get up to those weird sky islands. They're worth a visit, I promise.
Yes, but be ready to share ALL your recordings with the researchers on lookout landing. And be warned, some of them aren’t the most people friendly.
Oh man, I saw Link launch out of the tower... not so sure I'm as brave as he is. But maybe one of those hot air balloons could get me there?
@@youraveragehylian Good to know link is back and okay
@Your Average Hylian grab a paraglider in case you fall off a sky island
Wait islands in the sky, towers launching people up there? I've been missing out after I woke up at the bottom of what looks like to be a chasm
I would love to see your impressions of what Kakariko Village is like now! I heard some ruins fell from the sky there 🤔
Oh-hoh! A fellow adventurer (or at least a fellow traveler), you can't begin to imagine how thrilled I was to find this essay of yours. Truth be told, I was actually a fair distance away when the Upheaval first occurred, scoping out Lake Hylia and the Bridge of Hylia. I'd been considering building a home in that region now that the monsters were cleared out, but that's another story.
According to this essay, you were *pretty damned close* when all of this was going on, and the tale sounds so *harrowing!* That horse definitely saved your life. I know MINE did. Little word of advice? STAY AWAY From the Bridge of Hylia. While I didn't feel the Upheaval as badly as you did, I DEFINITELY took notice when, not only did debris start falling from the sky, but a *MASSIVE THREE HEADED DRAGON* with fire surrounding each head like a mane of hair started perching on the bridge. It attacks anyone who draws too close, so I would personally suggest leaving revisiting Lurelin Village out of your immediate plans.
I didn't stick around long enough to find out what the dragon could do, but trust me, just being CLOSE enough made me feel like I was in an oven. I'm lucky I had my own trusty horse nearby otherwise I would've never got away.
However, since you were patient enough to listen to my story, I actually do have a *REALLY INTERESTING* point of reference for you to go towards that's actually perfectly safe! You'd need to maneuver around a few monsters, but I promise it's worth it.
Head towards Kakariko Village. I think you and that brave horse of yours might find something really special there.
Kakariko is for sure on the list! What could be waiting for my horse 🤔
Thank Hylia you stayed away from that dragon, one of the members of my hunting party almost got turned into a roasted drumstick by one of those things
One of those dragons lives just west of my home in tarrey town. He just sits there. But instead of fire, he’s yellow and has lightning. Every time somebody tries to fight it, it starts thundering. Literally, the weather changes when somebody gets close. Nobody here has ever even gotten close to kill it.
I'm so happy you got your horse back! You may have lost your house, but at least you have your horse. I agree with one of the earlier comments to name your horse after the Goddess of Courage! Maybe name it Faro? I looked it up and the name means Journey or Beacon (?? not too sure, but hey it sounds fitting for a horse!)
Given your location, you might wanna check out Kakariko to see what's happening there. I heard there were some weird ring-shaped ruins around the village. If you wanna look for a new home, maybe go to Tarrey Town. They'll probably have a place for you there.
You should name the house your average stallion
It would be nice if Purah gave you access to the warp systems of the skyview towers.

Hey I’ve seen link destroy a table before you better be careful
all those chasms opening up everywhere are terrifying
rolled a rock down one, and didn't hear a thud for a solid 5 minutes
i'm half convinced you'll come out the other side of the world if you fell down one
and the terror isn't helped by that a massive amount of this gloom gas pouring out of the chasms seems to also be erupting from death mountain like the lava stirred up by vah rudania a few years ago
Been down there, the rock just disappears
I really want to investigate those chasms once my wing heals, who knows what could be down there.
President Yunobo has been acting strange ever since he got that mask from someone… and the young Gorons just don’t work, and all they do is eat marbled rock roast! They are also scamming people to get that marbled rock roast. But at least death mountain has cooled down!
One time I accidentally stepped on some gloom and I’m lucky I fully recovered I couldn’t walk for a week
@@JjPlays465 yikes! That stuff looks nasty. Also I may have been seeing things, but I was watching those chasms while recovering from a construct ambush, I saw some odd stuff in the gloom, almost like hands writhing. I’d stay away just to be safe, unless you have some sort of way to get out early should something go awry.
Horse name! Sage, a calm, steadfast name of an herb with no alternative meanings. None.
Yep. Sage l definitely isn’t a word repeated multiple times in the main story of this game. It’s just a normal horse name, nothing else.

The legends of my age tell of Calamity Ganon, the Upheaval and the Hero of the Wilds.
How fascinating to find documented footage from those days, when cameras were few and far between!
Stories say that unusual phenomena afflicted the tribes of the Divine Beasts Champions. I would love to find footage of those. Or perhaps tales of my ancestor Paya's leadership of Kakariko Village.
How long ago was this from your perspective?
Honestly at this point Ganon is so powerful that I’m heavily considering joining the Yiga clan. I hear they have car insurance, whatever a car is.
Link would eliminate you if he found you as a Yiga Clan member also you could be put in the depths and you could never see the sun again it’s just not worth it.
Congratulation for getting a horse! You can consider yourself lucky to have gotten such a kind and loyal one - not every horse would have come back to you! Give them an apple from me :)

I suggest investigating the events in goron city since the terrain has eased up since Death Mountain is less active and all there is too be wary about are strange goron and their new marbled rock roast delicacy.
I recentlty visited there too. They seem to have a weird uhh.... addiction to their new food. Some gorons even seemed to be acting strange
Please watch out! I went there some days ago and some gorons tried to trick by selling them a diamond for 100 rupees. That new food is making them crazy!

Something that I’m curious about is the strange statue I saw when I visited Lookout Landing. According to Josha, it was discovered in a place called the depths down one of those chasms, and I’ve heard it shares some kind of connection to the ancient Goddess statues. I don’t know what it is, but it gave me a strange feeling, like it was watching me.
Maybe 'ya clold try heading to kakariko village or tarrey town! There's been word that those two places were heavily effected by the upheavel, ruins falling around kakariko, and tarrey town being a hot-spot for zonai devices.
I think you should stay by the castle and lookout landing, you can investigate the castle and ask around about the "Holes" that are there and how to go safely up and down one, maybe even go down the one beneath the castle. Places from the old castle are still there including lockup and the docks and maybe Link and Zelda may find there way back. Getting good defense is always a good idea but all metal weapon have coroded so there may be someone in the shelter you may want to talk to about that.
I found a paraglided on the ground, and managed to get to the sky (don’t ask how) and I think I spotted link on a sky island
I was just thinking of your channel today, so happy to see this update!

Hope to see you on the road Sarason!
Hello, your time traveling Hylian historian here. Link tells me that the dragon barrier wasn’t opened until after he recovered on the Great Sky Island. Also the leader of the Zonai Survey team was pretty stoked to find out that someone could use a machine to travel through time. So I’m now part of the team as they needed someone who could travel through time to help with their understanding of Zonai history.
name your horse moobins
As a Hateno villager that left, I know that the safest place is NOT Death Mountain, you might get ripped off. I'm currently starting a new life as a sheep farmer in Lookout Landing. (They need one.) I also got a horse named Mulgy.
You should visit Tarrey town! I’ve been myself, and it’s grown so much since Link first helped build it. You should check in with Hudson and Rhondson while you’re there!
A new job opening: Lucky Clover Gissette. They’ve been investigating the after effects of the upheaval. They’re stationed at what used to be the Rito Stable before it was shut down by the cold front that hit the Hebra Region. Maybe you could investigate that.
I think that you should cover what has happened to the castle and what changes it has been getting. Love your videos, really makes you understand how big our world of Hyrule actually is!
I've heard a lot has changed over at Death Mountain, and the lava has stopped flowing, making it easier to get to for travelers, so it would be cool to see a video about that. Also, there are rumors of a new dragon that people have spotted on their travels- it may be worth looking into.
Tip for all adventurers : Since the weapons are decayed, replacing their blade with monster horns are a great way to make them stronger. Especially with silver monsters’ horns.
As long as you can actually kill one, silver Lynel horns are extremely powerful but the Lynels themselves are ridiculously powerful and can tank a comical amount of damage.
Thankfully for me, bows have been unaffected! I have been sticking things to my arrows though. I heard about these things called “Gibdo bones” that seem like they’d pack a punch.
That's what I did with one of mine already good this is public information.

I would consider rito Village for a new home. We are very open for new people and we are happy to allow anyone to be with us in the village!! We serve hot chocolate and hand out blankets to unprepared hylians.
Pros:
1. Scenic beauty: Rito Village is located on the cliffs overlooking Lake Totori and surrounded by mountains, making it a picturesque location.
2. Access to flying: The Rito tribe has the ability to fly using their wings, which can be a convenient way to travel around the area.
3. Community: Rito Village has a small community of friendly and welcoming people who are always willing to help.
4. Unique culture: The Rito tribe has a unique culture, including their music, architecture, and traditions, which can be interesting to learn about.
Cons:
1. Limited resources: Rito Village is a small community, so there are limited resources available, including food and supplies.
2. Harsh weather: The area around Rito Village can be cold and windy, making it difficult to travel or even live comfortably.
3. Limited access: Rito Village is located high in the mountains, making it difficult to access for those without wings or climbing skills.
4. Limited job opportunities: As a small community, there may be limited job opportunities available in Rito Village.
Thank you for the breakdown!

I've heard that Hyrule's been in all sorts of disarray since the upheaval of the castle. Caves popping up out of nowhere, glowing pictures suddenly appearing, not to mention all the gloom that's been erupting out of the ground, including death mountain. Just try to stay safe on your journey!
Gotta admit, I'm a little jealous that you're working with the Zonai research team. I've been fascinated by history and culture for a while now, but I'm still working on my associates degree for anthropology. Hopefully I can help you guys out one of these days when I graduate!

why do you have so little subscribers? Dude, you deserve way more!
You should head to tarry town. It is kind of far, but it hasnt really been affected all that much, in fact it has grown a fair amount.
You should document the presses of how the weapons are made since link can fuse stuf automatically but not normal hyliens yet they have monster horn weppons

You and this horse have a bond, and you know your horse better than any commenter, subscriber, or sponsor ever will! Whatever name you choose for them, may it be silly or poetic, creative or basic, I have no doubt that you’ll make the right choice!
From my research, the Upheaval affected a lot of stuff. Like creating chasms, making sky islands appear, make weapons rusty and all. It also created a blizzard at Rito village, making their ressources limited, but Link is on fixing that. Zora’s domain is attacked by sluge falling from the sky, making their water bad, almost killing most, the prince Sidon is stuck trying to clean the water, and their king tried killing a monster, but got wounded by muck and is hiding somewhere. Death Mountain doesn’t have lava anymore, and the gorons are addict of a strange edible stone. Finally, Gerudo Desert was caught in a sandstorm, and a monster called "gibdo" appeared, the Gerudo are hiding in their underground city, making Gerudo town accessible ! It’s full of gibdo tho… (also tip for the Gerudo : flame emitters, shock emitters, ice emitters and hydrants are effective against gibdo)
You could venture towards a village maybe they'll have some information for you. I heard the Zonai Survey Team has set up base in Kakoriko Village so maybe head there? But I also heard that Tracy the owner of the main news company set up near Rito village so maybe you can join her to formulate news articles. But what's my say in things after all I'm just a fellow Hylian like you, so do whatever you think will work.

I think it might be worth giving Tarrey Town another look. The Akkala region is much safer these days with all the guardians having been shut down and decommisioned. I haven't been to the area myself lately, but I ran into this strange man putting up an ad for Hudson Construction in the middle of nowhere. He told me they're building houses to order there, although that might be a bit out of your price range. Maybe you could get Hudson to hook you up with some kind of display house there. They're also expanding beyond their old borders to the surrounding area so it's not in such an isolated patch of land anymore. I've heard they're even experimenting with some ancient technology unearthed in the upheaval to see how it can be used in daily life. All things considered, it seems like there's a lot of interesting stuff going on there and I'd love to see your thoughts on the area.
I’ve been getting it recommended to me a lot, I’ll have to head that way!
the upHeaval has been hard for me as a stable worker, i used to work at the outskirts stable, and because nobody visited we were like a family, but my boss told me they didn't have enough rupees to accommodate for my food and such after the damages caused by the upheaval to other stables, i mostly wander around now, living off of food i cook myself. i'm also thinking of getting a job at the lucky clover gazette, adventuring has always been my passion, and this way i have an opportunity to visit the stables again. stay safe fellow hylians!
Maybe prepare before going to the Gerudo region. I made that mistake and it’s a miracle I’m still alive. Rito village is a bit chilly, but it’s safer that the others (save for Zora’s domain) so it has my recommendation.
Definitely don't go to Gerudo Desert, it's swarmed with terrifying undead-cicada looking things that don't seem to be hurt by ANYTHING. Honestly, I would just stay in Lookout Landing or visit all of us over in Tarrey Town. These 2 seem to be the safest places for us average Hylians
Go to Zora, I went there and the king was missing!
What!!!!
I’m on my way to Zora’s domain!!

i have some family in lurin village who i was going to see just before everything happened, and as the news was starting to spread i didnt know if they were okay. while they havent been directly affected by the gloom and things, a bunch of monsters came by sea and trashed the place. i dont even know how my cousins are even alive. i dont even know how to describe how i felt walking to somewhere that was so precious to me when i was visiting it growing up, and it just being... gone. mum is absolutely distraught. we've been stable hopping the long way around and beyond hateno village, both just to do something and to see if anyone can help us. one kid at the outskirt stable was very nice and played his flute to cheer us up. i dont really know where im going with this, i just needed to get this out. its nice that this space you've made can help people talk like this.
I recommend visiting Tarrey town! I heard there are reports of the sky debris and some mysterious new machinery to discover, also could be a homely location to relocate to, bearing in mind the hefty price. While on the way you could stop at Goron city as apparently the lava has cooled off, just avoid the gloom!
If possible, I heard rumors of a sludge in Zora's Domain. Not sure what that all is about, but it's worth an investigation, considering the Zora have a long ancient history.
I’ll probably check it out myself.
Try heading to Goron City next! Death Mountain went inactive, and a direct path from Hyrule Field cleared up. Just don’t make any business deals; the Gorons have been acting sketchy lately…

Making your way to Lookout landing was a good idea, but Kakariko Village might have been a better bet. Just, don't get squished by falling ruins on the way. Plenty of sky-rocks fall around that region.
Huh, from what I heard both the Lookout Landing and Hateno School had been around for quite a while. I heard the Landing was built to be a central hub for Princess Zelda's mission to rebuild Hyrule, starting with the construction of the Skyview Towers, and that the school was built shortly after Zelda came to live in Hateno.
Either way, you're lucky you set out when you did, since rumor says a big chunk of that sky rock fell down and smashed the Big Twin Bridge by the Dueling Peaks.
Good luck and safe travels to you, and be sure to watch for giant holes and falling rocks.
Hey Traysi here from the Lucky Clover Gazette. You should come document Rito Village next and on your way there come stop by our new headquarters. It's where the old Rito Stable used to be before I scamm- er, bought it for a fair price. We've got two reporters but we could really use a videographer. You'd be getting great perks such as cost covered travel, horse insurance, and a nifty cloth made of news papers, maybe you could make some bed sheets, I don't know. Anyways, me and the crew would love to see you here.
Traysi I’m here filming right now, did you forget? 😉
Ever since the upheaval there have been these mysterious storms in the sky that seem to have no end! Word says the Rito have been getting lots of snow because of it but I'm more interested in the neverending lightning storm above faron woods! Any investigation on that would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for your diligent work as always, Your Average Hylian o7
Bottle sounds like a nice name for that horse.
This.... actually kind of works for a Hylian horse 🐴
That sounds terrifying! I was in Kakariko when this happened, and it woke everyone up - loads of people were clustering around the shrine. I'm yet to go out and explore, but apparently there's plans for a large metal net to be made above the place to protect from those falling rocks.
Oh my god… Don't go to your beloved Lurelin Village… It will rip your heart in pieces! Only Tarrey Town, Kakariko and Hateno Villages and somewhat Goron City are safe at this point
Ah man it hurts just to hear it!
What if you went and asked Link to help you record things such as exploring the Depths, so he can bring you footage without you almost dying down there
For a nice, safe place, go to Tarrey Town! I live there, and we’ve soon a ton of expanding, plus the upheaval dropped a ton of strange devices all over the place, maybe you could figure out how to work them!
So, im located over at eldin (before anyone asks, yes, the fireproof elixirs were very tedious to make every day, atleast until i could afford a suit of flamebreaker armor, it took months to save up for each individual piece, but i did eventually get the gear. thank you for your concern.) and after the upheaval happened, strange stuff has been going on on death mountain, and the lava is now completely gone, not a bit of it left on the surface, i find it odd, but what worries me more is the strange gloom-like fog eminating from the mountain, not only that, the usually cheery and kind gorons have become oddly hostile and gluttonous, seeming to only care about what looks to be the latest trend in goron foods, it's called Marbled Rock Roast, but the kids and elders dont seem to be able to eat it, personally, i think it looks even more inedible than the regular rock roasts, but im no goron. Anyway, as i was saying, the gorons aren't even doing any of their usual mining, and the recently founded YunoboCo mining company has had to hire some Hylians to help with the mining of marbled rock roast. I tried to apply for a job now that there were openings, but the president of the company seems like a completely changed person, and is much more agressive and rude than he seemed to be before. some goron children told me he's been like that ever since he started wearing that fancy new mask. Either way, i feel as if this could make for a highly interesting topic for you to cover, and don't worry about fireproofing yourself, without the lava flowing, it's no longer as hot here, and non-gorons can tolerate the temperature just fine. (looks like i saved up and bought the flamebreaker armor for no reason afterall)
I just love how immersive these are!!! your content is incredible
Glad you like them!
Those chasms are quite interesting. I haven’t been able to investigate, I’ve been injured after being attacked by some weird robot things when investigating the island chain near Rito Village. I was attempting to investigate the cause of this blizzard, but I’ve been hauled up at home waiting to heal. Also, I may just be seeing things but I saw something moving near a patch of gloom, I’d be careful over there.
I saw those, they are absolutely TERRIFYING! My horse could barely run fast enough. What I would give for Zelda's golden horse... I would have fought them, but my BRAND NEW, VERY EXPENSIVE royal broadsword was ruined by the gloom. Now I'm down a couple thousand rupees. I heard a rumor that some pristine weapons can be found in the depths...
@@KreeperKilla551 you should try using a bow, those weren’t affected by the Gloom! I’d have been really upset if my Falcon Bow got ruined. That being said, the sword woulda probably done nothing. My buddy tried filling one with arrows while on guard duty and they didn’t do a thing. I wish you luck making back the rupees though, I’d suggest mining for ores, but I heard the prices went down for some reason.
you should totally investigate the geoglyphs that have appeared across all hyrule, they started to glow just 5 minutes after the castle started to float
Horse is so cute waiting patiently while you get B-roll. I hope you find a good name for it!
Oh good, you're okay! Word of advice if you go to Tabantha: it has been COLD. A very basic bit of warm clothing or a level 1 Spicy dish or elixir should be fine to get you to Rito Village, though. It's not 'Hebra or Gerudo Highlands' cold... yet.
And I kinda get the whole 'life got turned upside down' thing. Since Rito Stable was bought out by that newspaper, I'm now out of a job!
Hey, I have an idea!!! Isn’t there a giant hole in the ground near Rito Village?
Thanks for the tips!
the fact zelda caused a paradox is weird because this guy seems to remember (kind of)
good job man! Also, the horse really should be named "douglas" because its cool. Also, Also, You should go to Kakariko or Zoras domain next! because then you may be able to go to Tarrey Town afterward and talk to Hudson construction about your homelessness issue.
