How y’all forget “in da club” by 50 cent in 03?! But good list though 👍🏽
2006 is when it all started to go down 😢
I thought the same thing, but thought maybe I was just being dramatic lol.
I haven't even heard most the songs on here after like 2019.
99- Back That Azz Up
(Juvi needs that album ranking soon)
04- Nolia Clap
06- Chamillionaire- Ridin Dirty
50 cent in the club not being on here is crazy
No lil Wayne a milli for 2008 is insane
1993: how the hell does Snoop not make that with Gin and Juice or What’s My Name!?! Snoop was the biggest thing in 93 and had the best album and singles!!!! 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Amazing songs but not better than the likes of CREAM or electric relaxation
@@wildlife8975 lol, you buggin.
Wait wait wait… no Gin n Juice? And more important: CJay missed MAKE EM SAY UHHHH?
Mane that's what I'm saying. Master P had the world in a chokehold w/ that
06 should've had some from T.I. / King. The album was the best that year. Also no Juvenile or No Limit?
Wu Tang - cream or triumph, Nas - it ain't hard to tell, Biggie - mo money mo problems or hypnotyse, Black Sheep - the choise is yours. are all songs that come to mind
96 was California love. 96 was PAC’s year
Ambitionz az a ridah is better imo. CA love is the most iconic for sure
You can’t talk about the early 00s without mentioning Cam‘Ron/Dipset
Oh Boy, Hey Ma?
Not one Wu-Tang (Group or solo) record???
It says something about strong hiphop was back in the 90s that there’s not a single Witang joint on here.
1990: Amerikkas most wanted, can I kick it, Bonita applebum
1991: Brenda’s got a baby, mind playing tricks on me, scenario lp mix
1992: NBAGT, TROY, it was a good day
1993: CREAM, electric relaxation, protect ya neck
1994: NYSOM, Juicy, world is yours
1995: shook ones part II, guillotine, 4th chamber
1996: ambitionz Az a ridah, the message, I gave you power
1997: triumph, victory, hypnotize
1998: doo wop, aquemini, above the clouds
1999: undying love, Brooklyn, Rock Bottom
2000: Stan, BOB, the light
2001: renegade, rewind, ether
2002: till I collapse, sing for the moment, cleaning out my closet
2003: Lucifer, many men, December 4
2004: fígaro, all caps, spaceship
2005: hate it or love it, we major, be
2006: kick push, still dreaming, Mr me too
2007: dancing in the rain, can’t tell me nothing, international players anthem
2008: a milli, let the beat build, got money
2009: exhibit c, exhibit A, day n nite
2010: DIAND, runaway, power
2011: 6 foot 7 foot, otis, fellas in paris
2012: SAMIDOT, Maad city, money trees
2013: blood on the leaves, new slaves, Tuscan weather
2014: Diablo, thuggin, shitsville
2015: Wesley’s theory, the blacker the berry, HMADC
2016: 4YEO, Saint Pablo, NMPLA
2017: 4:44, Duckworth, Fear
2018: Mona Lisa, 2009, dedication
2019: gone gone thank you, crowns for kings, running out of time
2020: good news, blue world, 327
2021: family ties, 95 south, let go my hand
2022: walkin , heart part 5, sistanem
2023: scientists and engineers, burfict , til further notice
That’s MY list
I personally think would added some of these songs
1991: Ice Cube- No Vaseline
1996: Nas- If I Ruled The World, 2Pac- 2 Of Amerikka’s Most Wanted
1999: DMX- Party Up In Here
2003: 50 Cent- In Da Club
2004: Eminem- Mockingbird or Cam’ron- Down and Out
2006: T.I.- What You Know
2007: UGK- Player’s Anthem
2009: Jay-Z- Empire State Of Mind
2010: Kanye West- Runaway
2014: Freddie Gibbs- Thuggin’
I’m surprised Nas didn’t show up until ‘99 you could’ve said if I ruled the world was one of the best songs in 96
Bro, that was a disaster of a list I ain’t even gonna lie and some of the songs you put out throughout the years didn’t even come out the year that you said come on man more like top three radio singles
Lmao right
2017: Unforgettable > Crewlink
2007... UMMMM, INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS ANTHEM BY UGK!?!!?!?!?! CRANK THAT BY SOULJA BOY?!? It's not my fave song of course, but I do recognize it's place in history with pushing in that wave of dance music, youtube introduction, digital and website artists was pushing. SB deserves his spot.
Bruh how is We Fly High not in 2006?
Because its overrated af
@@rrichmond14I agree, but most of these songs are overrated or just plain wack. It was hot though and that's what the list is discussing.
1997: I’m not mad at it… BUT, hypnotize is definitely above This is It by camp lo.
And Triumph by Wu.
And Puffy Can’t nobody hold me down
That's was Puff's weakest single, impact wise. I choose Benjamins
@@Fleezy81speaking 6 weeks at #1 says otherwise lol.
Great list, a few songs that I was missing…
2002: Cam‘ron & Juelz - Oh Boy
2004: Fabolous - Breathe
2006: Jim Jones - We Fly High
2011: Khaled - I‘m on One and YC & Future - Racks
We fly high was overrated AF. And i f w jones
We Fly High is overrated and I fucked with it hard when I was young. Has not aged well.
@@dmercy8477it ain’t about how YOU feel the songs have aged. It’s about the biggest and best songs during THAT time.
Now quit crying in peoples comments
@@miked.336I still love the song and one of my favorites from Jim Jones but there’s far better singles that came out that year like T.I ‘s What You Know which is my favorite song from 06. I don’t know who the fuck you think you talking to and your the one that’s crying in the comments. Bro go somewhere you fucking hypocrite.
Some of the biggest misses off the top of my head:
93 to Infinity
Passin Me By
Gin N Juice
This is How We Do it
In Da Club
All of the Lights
Hard in the Paint
Soul Survivor
What’s Love
Throw Some D’s
Imagine in 93/94 the best producers of the time (except RZA) team up to create the greatest album in hip hop history and not one single song made it in this list... Also 95 without Shook Ones? C'mooooon
1995 no shook one II?!
Damn 1997 wheels started falling off, 2000 rap fell off a cliff
2003: in da club 50 cent
i was just thinking that too. i remember when it first came out, became the biggest 50 cent fan at 11
Nahhhh clicked off after this 😂
This is great!
Yall are great!
Thank you!
2:36 hell no 😭 not anymore
Coolio was in 95 not 96
Yeah that was 1995 actually.
2000s was my era tho!!
Pump It Up didn't make it on here for 03?
Shocked "Best I ever Had" wasn't up there in '09
Do R&B next 🎶🎵🎼🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️
1990 En Vogue - Hold On
2023 Kali Uchis - Deserve Me ft Summer Walker
Erased ja rule from history....living it up....every little thing....massive hits
Pharoah monch shut the he'll up..Timeless hit..house of pain jump around..a legacy hit t ight there...
2024 - Not Like Us by Kendrick Lamar
2016: Bad and Boujee HAS to be wayyy above Down in the DM.
Great list. Man the 90s really had some gems!!
2010: not bad, although I would choose BMF > Aston Martin Music. Honorable Mention.. Wiz Black/Yellow.
1997- Master P Make Em Say ughhh should have been on there. 1998 Sillt not a player or Hard knock Life should have made the list
Solid List As A Proud 90's Baby This is great #Yup
No 50 cent in 2003 is actually insane lowkey made me wanna turn the video off..🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
93: we needed Snoop in there with either Gin N Juice or What's My Name?
98: X needed to be in with two, Slippin over Money ain't a Thang
99: Still D.R.E by Dre was supposed to be in
04: In Da Club by 50 was supposed to be in there
No sure when it was released Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs was supposed to be included
2005: I would go Gold Digger > Diamonds. Not mad at other two. Although 2005 was Jeezy's year, so would throw him in with Soul Survivor.
Bad and Boujee and ain’t nothin but a G Thang.
Gin & juice should have been on here
2006: I would go w/ Chingy other hit song... Right Thurr > Pulling me back. Also TI What You Know should be on here. But I'm not mad at shoulder lean.
Nice
2000: I would probably go Whoa Black Rob to replace Jay.
Or Nelly Country Grammer
No gin n juice for 93 is wild lol
2011: Look at me Now > Peso
Where is shook ones??
Hold up my nigga..... I know I ain't tripping. 2003..... Is there a reason 50 Cent In Da Club is not there? Damn THE biggest hip hop song EVER made?!?! Boy smoking dust talking about Like a Pimp is better lmaoooo
Slam by Onyx should've been in 93
you missed lollipop by lil Wayne 2008 & where is Nicki Minaj?
Surprise you ain’t have Lollipop on there for 2008
Never let bro cook again
Missed a couple of joints? Your whole list was a miss
- No Dr Dre from the 1992 Chronic or 2001 Chronic?
- No WUTANG song. Not even C.R.E.A.M?!?!?
- No Snoop from Doggystyle album or his later singles?
- No Nas from Illmatic album?!?!?!? N.Y STATE OF MIND?!?!? WHAT?
- No Mobb Deep. Not even Shook Ones?
- Only one Pac song? He dropped two classic albums in 1996 alone. NOT EVEN CHANGES?!?!?!
- Only one BIG song? What about Life After Death album?!?!?!?
- No Lose Yourself, Rap God, Forever, Mockingbird, Without me, My name is, Till I collapse, Toy soldiers, or other huge songs from Eminem?
- Not a single 50 cent song from Get Rich Or Die Trying. NOT EVEN IN DA CLUB?!?!
- No G UNIT SONG?
- No Lollipop or A Milli from Lil Wayne.
- No Kendrick Lamar from Good Kid M.A.A.D City or his control verse
- No Ja Rule?
- Only one Nelly Song? What about Dilemma, Hot in here, E.I, Ride Wit Me etc?
- No J COLE?
I could keep going but yall clearly don't have much Hip Hop knowledge
no madvillainy or mf doom in 2004?
This was a terrible list. You would have to do a top 10 for each year. No “Cream” by wu, “California love” by pac, “Renee” by lost boyz, and etc
Missed Bad & Boujee in 2017
Entire list invalid coz of that one reason
1996: no way in hell dead presidents by Jay was a better song. Most people didn’t even hear that song that year cause Jay wasn’t really that known yet 😂
What’s more insane is choosing that over California Love by PAC. Or Elevators by OutKast or Woohah by Busta or Get Money by Junior Mafia
🤦🏾♂️
And bone thugs crossroads
2004: I would go Drop it Like It's Hot by Snoop, Jesus Walks by Kanye, How We Do by The Game..... over TI and Slow Jamz
Dope vid
Was with this list until 2011… I’m On One was way bigger than Peso.
Everything was bigger than peso lol
How y’all got “ain’t i” but not A milli or Lollipop for 2008???
Ain't Worried Bout Nothin shouldve in 2013
2019: How the hell is Roddy Rich on here twice... BUT not his song THE BOX?!?!?! edit: I see he's on the 2020, although it came out in 2019...in Dec. I'll let it slide. Which means for 2019 Dior by Pop Smoke should be on there.
No in da club fam?😂
1994: Ahmad- Back In The Day? Seriously? That song didn't even go Platinum. I can think of at least 10 better songs from that year. 🤔
Nas robbed of all three 94 spots 😂
1998: I’m not tooooo mad about.
Although money ain’t a thang wasn’t as good or big as Still Not a player by big pun or Rosa Parks by OutKast or Deja Vu by lord Tariq Peter Gunz
WAIT..
I JUST REMEBERED BACK THAT AZZ UP CAME OUT in 98!!!
Nothing was bigger than that 🤦🏾♂️
Where were all the Nas tracks? Wtf
Aint i was 2008 not 2009, black and yellow was 2010 and ima boss was 2011
Leaving my state of mass off 94' was this channels biggest mistake
Hip hop really got a LOT worse from 2010 onwards 😬
Your emoji 😂
You guys are some liars some of the songs don't match the years y'all said they was the best the best song 2003 was in da club not just rap overall in any genre
Mf doom list
Should of did it by Coast
Man…Dr. Dre not having a song on this is wild.
You must didn’t watch the video or didn’t see nothing but a g thang at the 1:05 mark
1999: ummm Dr Dre The Next Episode or Still DRE should be on this list.
Party Up by DMX!
No in Da Club or Ridin Dirty. This list is invalid.
Damn this was so bad
1995: how the hell is Coolio Gangster Paradise not on there!?! But hey lover by LL is 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Edit: I see you put it on the wrong yeah in 96.
All the tracks on here from 2010 onwards could genuinely be the same track. Watered-down crap.
In da Club ?? 🤷♂
2002: how the ffff is Grindin by Clipse not on there!?!?!?
The biggest lunchroom instrumental ever!!!!
Lil Jon get Low!
Heck even Nelly Hot in Herre was bigger and better than af1s!
That Lil’ Jon song has not aged well. A song doesn’t always have to be a huge hit to be consider one of best of that year. Impact, quality and memorability is more important. You’re out here blabbering and crying in the comments about what you feel what belongs and what doesn’t belong here. If you feel that way why don’t you make a playlist of what you feel it’s the best song L’s of each year. Everyone has their own opinion and you’re entitled to yours.
@@dmercy8477 and I’m stating mine. Fugg you crying about. It’s called engagement with his subscribers. Actually helps him showing he has more comments and people speaking. Maybe try it.
Instead of my dck complaining cause I thought a song was bigger and better than another song.
Lil Jon took a strip club anthem and made it huge. As an independent artist signed to TVT.. song was HUGE. Especially in the house, not sure where you from.
Kick rocks
I'm not mad at this list. But its nothing like mine. Too much pop rap imo.
Definitely a trash mesh up smh how have NO Jay z songs? Even Wayne a milli 50 in da club Kendrick humble NO Tupac ! Like this must was somebody personal favorite lol
ugh.... awful picks
Truly terrible list 😂 had to unsubscribe this was insane
So many songs missing. Terrible list.
You know its only one song a year right? Genius
