- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

He’s actually been pretty fair for the most part. He’s had more problems with the prosecutors than anyone because of how ridiculous some of their “evidence” is and how they almost refuse to follow court orders

This testimony with the mall was absolutely shameful. Video footage showed young men shopping (which is great for the mall considering the economy) with several parcels and some riding around on their electronic hoverboards. I've seen kids do this all the time, and they left once asked. There was no reason for this security guard to harass them. It seems as though he wanted to arrest them so that he could take the things that they had paid for because he somehow felt that they didn't deserve to have them. He profiled them, and the State using this as a part of this case suggests that their case is very weak. Maybe they'll have additional witnesses and evidence in the future that seems more credible, but so far its a fail.
It’s so annoying that the prosecution isn’t going to the podium for their questioning!!!!! Go to the microphone and get out of the way of the witness!!!

Exactly, he’s really weird. They showed him several case law to support what they were saying & he agreed. However, the more she kept trying to make her point, I knew he was going to change his mind, but when the defense do that he get real mad and tell them don’t ask again

More of the same story… Judge continuing to overrule any defense counsel’s objections and sustain any state’s objections. All of this seems like a giant waste of time as everything the state is bringing up for the jury via witness testimony and exhibits was already dealt with by another court and adjudicated via probation, prison time, or both. If I’m a juror in the box listening to all of this and observing everything that has happened to date in this case, I’m nowhere near convinced of any RICO act violation(s) by any of the six defendants. Things should get really interesting once those who took pleas in lieu of going to trial take the stand as part of their plea agreement…
