- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

Beyond outrageous😮 Never seen anything like it. I’m actually learning through the defense to control my emotions because as a defense attorney I would’ve been blurted out out of anger and emotion and agitation just because he keeps playing with them and I really can’t take that kind of disrespect but they are doing the best they could do and they are doing a great job, but at the end of the day they are dealing with a circus, so it’s not hard I just can’t believe how biased the judge is showing himself to be

@@lindeejones1980 that’s not true, he could do much better. He is favoring the prosecution heavily and sustaining most of their objections while overruling almost all of the objections from the defense, especially Brian Steele

I really hope the Jury sees that these “Police Officers” are using petty reasons to harass and overly charge a section of people! A s much as people love to complain and look down on the people in these areas arresting them for goofy crimes like 17 grams of weed.
Those of us who have lived in these type of neighborhoods are very aware of this type of so called of “policing” and have watched this type of foolishness allowed for decades!
The fact that the gang detective of what ever he was couldn’t identify one of them members in court was hilarious. He says he was sitting over there , wearing suit & tie but don’t know color of tie . Then says oh he got it wrong is hilarious. This whole trial is crazy and it’s just beginning . The judge will go off on both parties before it’s even half way over .

@@brandonw335: It definitely seems that the judge is annoyed by the defense (their objections, the number of things they’re bringing up, the times they ask to approach, etc.) but… there’s 10 of them (or something like that). Of course it’s going to seem like a lot. That’s the nature of the structure of this case.
If it’s going to bother him - they should have structured the trial differently.

By standard of the police service, a police officer shall not be influenced by outside entities such as receiving an income from an extra job except if they own business that they must apply to the head of their organization to do so or if it is gained hereditary

We all have dreams your honor, but money laundering and tax fraud is a serious offence when the government already pays you and owns the cash that is in circulation.
