- The trial of Young Thug and his YSL co-defendants has begin its 26th day in Fulton County with more attempts by the prosecution to connect the Atlanta rapper with violent gang activity.
On Monday, Atlanta Police Detective Mark Belknap was back on the stand. Belknap, who works in the Atlanta Police Department’s gang unit, was the first witness in the trial.
Prosecutors asked Belknap to respond to various posts and videos Young Thug and his associates made on social media, including one in which a young child allegedly flashed a hand sign connected with the Bloods gang.

How the hell the judge making the Defense hurry up and cross examine the lying cop??
The judge told defense he would let them cross examine however they wanted since he allowed beltnap to keep testifying. That's why defense is able to ask the questions they want to. Also, he let prosecutors talk him into proving they took tweets out of context and that's what defense is also doing. He may have been cautioned to stop blocking defense from defending their clients or else also. Something happened! Defense is killing prosecutor's bogus case.

I said the same thing. Someone above had to talk to him about not allowing the defense attorneys to properly defend their clients. Today was the first day in my opinion that the defense was allowed to properly cross a state’s witness. They need to let the defense recross Mr. Steven’s and also play the song Attorney Steele wanted to introduce to the jury last week.
Steele turned the courtroom into a crime scene, he murdered that witness✌🏾
And now today the stream was glitching like crazy once Steel started questioning again. What a day.
Historical analysis of this case for body language that reveals the underlying conspiracy between the state and judge will be very interesting....
I really can’t wait to see what other judges and attorneys say about his behavior aswell!😅 I understand how they feel about Young thug, and his gangster image influencing the Atlanta community and they feel like they’re the superheroes trying to put the bad guy away.. but at the same time in just a blatant way, the judge disregarded his duty for constitutional fairness , is kind of criminal within itself

The judge take breaks just send everyone home for the day. Any other judge would have let Steele keep going until 6 especially knowing they aren’t due back until 12:30 pm tomorrow.
Maybe he didn’t want him to continue to dismantle the state’s witness, and that was his way of getting him off the stand. That way he could have time to talk to the prosecutor in preparation for tomorrow’s late start? 🤷🏾♂️

I'm in courts all the time. I see this type of corruption and prosecutorial misconduct all the time. But, i don't think I've ever seen a judicial officer overrule nearly 100% of his opponents' objections (defense is clearly Urinal's opponent) and then argue the legal basis for an objection.

For example: Steele would ask “what does this song mean when it says XYZ” or “what does that P hand sign mean” and on and on and on (like so many examples). And the judge wouldn’t let Stephens answer. He would sustain Love’s objection.
Now Steele is doing the same thing & yesterday he got scolded for not using a proper objection. And today it’s just overruled, overruled, overruled - every single time.
