In the final episode of Homemade Fly Rod, I Glue up the grip from Episode 2 and turn a cork fighting butt on the lathe.

what rod blanks did u use?

I think the rod turned out really nice and complements your reel nicely! I was looking at the rod wrapping jig you have there. It looks a little wobbly. I recently built myself a new wrapping jig that is rock solid. Since you like making things yourself, maybe it would give you some ideas for a wrapping jig build.
