LITERAL cozy!
Thank you, yes I went literal lol ❣
This is another level of cozy 🤩 Cool idea, thanks for participating!
Thank you and for hosting❣
I’m sorry but I find “sitting down on the job” unprofessional! It’s one thing to sit down to maybe paint the bottom of a piece however your video consists of sitting 95% of the video…you can’t accomplish a great design or finish if you aren’t getting in there and standing level with your project..I’ve been repurposing and refinishing furniture for many years and haven’t “sat” to do a project nearly as much as in your videos…get in there and get eye level..raise your project on a work table or something accommodating you will find you will end with a much more professional looking project…like the idea though..that’s very creative
For me, creativity is the thing, so thanks for the compliment. As for your criticism. I think whatever I need to do to get the job done is my business, according to my space, equipment, and physicality.
I've done years of car and motorcycle seat recovering, and a long time ago I got one of the best tips ever for cutting and shaping foam - an old electric carving knife. Works like a fine sculpting tool, goes through foam like butter. Mine is from the '60s or '70s, used to be Mom's, and has the two side-byside blades that go in opposite directions. Works better on foam than it ever has on my turkeys, hahaha!!! Really cute project, nice job! 😊
Thank you! Yes I've seen people use an electric knife before. I rarely am cutting foam but that's a great tip! I hope yours works for years to come❣
Like being wrapped in a cozy sweater! Cool technique with the stencil and I love how you did the padding. Looks really comfy. Are you keeping this one?
No it's for sale 😊
Wow... I could NOT figure out what you were doing with this dresser until you actually told us. That took a lot of vision and creativity. Nice work. Love it! - Sherry
Thank you Sherry! I loved yours too❣

Now that’s what you call repurposing! The color combination is very nice and the fabric makes it look sooo cozy! Nicely done 🙂👍🏽

Wow! Now that's a transformation! Can't beat the Sherpa for coziness!!
Thanks and yes, nice and cozy❣
What an awesome transformation!! It doesn’t look like the same piece at all. Great job!!
Thanks so much❣
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ok! Sustainable- ✔️ stylish- ✔️ cosy- you bet ! I believe that is a goal well matched! You did an amazing job, I appreciate your skill and creativity.✨❤️
Thank you so much Mea❣
Great work, very interesting to watch you put this together. I am wondering if your staple gun was anything unique as it seemed to tackle the thick foam very well. Can yo share the details on the tools you used, in particular the staple gun. keep up the great work.
Thank you Nancy! My staple gun was rather inexpensive from Harbor Freight. I seem to destroy staple guns and this one has been my go to. Other than that just standard tools❣
What a cool (or should I say warm) idea. I just couldn't figure out how this would work, but it was fantastic in the end.
Thank you Mary, and especially for hanging in till the end ❣
cool way to upcycle drawers, well done!
Thanks so much❣
Why not use Dixie mud?? Is sea spray a better product for this?
Because I wanted to mix the color in with the product.
Oh my gosh. It is super adorable! I love it!
Aww thanks❣
Very creative and unique!
Thank you❣
What a fun idea!
Thanks 😊
Fabulous job. It turned out beautiful. I'd love to be curled up there with a big mug of cocoa and a good book. Well done. An aside, Karol is the name of the guy with the channel Flipping Drawers. This challenge is so much fun. Didn't expect you to make a seat from this. Nice surprise.
Thanks Emer. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Karol goes by Jay also. About half of us call him that. Fortunately he answers to either🤣❣
