I love how confident you are that you’re at the start of a long journey with Sherlock & Pages, that it’s going to take you somewhere. Exciting!

We’ll let’s see Ian. We’ve got to have some belief. Could blow up on us but at least we’ll know we gave it our best. Hopefully that’s not the case and we can go from strength to strength, some exciting plans in the pipeline

I love the quote you share near the end! (Regarding the shop.... Is it worth doing? As an outsider, I'd say it is so worth it! I've only known about your shop for a little over a week, but I love the curated aspect of your shop and have found so many books that I'm interested in. I might not have found them or it might have taken so long for me to find them otherwise. The story you shared about the man who wrote you, regarding how much your shop meant to him, is amazing. The idea of reaching out to the community and becoming a hub of the community.... It's all so very important. I guess one can't pay the bills with and eat worth; however, I'd put worth and doing something meaningful over money. Ha. I'm a school teacher, so that's obvious. ;) I hope knowing the worth of what you're both doing helps on the hard days.)

Great chat, dog poo a thing world wide which is a shame. Thanks for educating us around who’s who in the book world. Keep it up.

So true / when you said ‘you don’t sit & read books all day’ . I worked in a bookshop in the 90s & you would get people coming in saying ‘oh I bet it’s great working in a bookshop you get to read books all day’ This is very far from reality.

A great interview. I'm already looking into the Glastonbury Water Way, and I will stop by the shop soon to pick up a copy of Britain's Pilgrim Places.

I would definitely come by if I'm in the area, but Frome is a bit out of the way, isn't it.

If it's any help, I suggest that you change this to "Sherlock & Pages". I'm not getting notifications, even though I've subscribed to 'Luke Sherlock".
